Many players find the game deeply relaxing and satisfying, often using it to calm anxiety or ADHD. [1][2][3] Several reviewers praise the core loop of cleaning, sorting, and stacking money as addictive and trance-inducing. [4][5][6] A common complaint is the lack of automation for packing bills in the late game, making manual stacking tedious. [7][8][9]

It is with a heavy heart that I do not recommend this game. You'll get to a point where you're cripplingly bottlenecked by your ability to simply pack stacks of bills. The developers have not implemented any way to auto-pack bills. The core gameplay loop requires you to babysit the sorting machine. Having to sit still and click the "pack" button on the sorter, and then grab the stack, over and over again is such a …

Honestly for me, this game has been a way for me to calm down and collect my thoughts. I am someone who has anxiety a stress issues, with some OCD mixed in there, and this game allows me to do something that is both simple yet fulfilling. Being able to focus on one thing, just organizing money, has allowed me to control my stress levels. I don't think this was the intention of the game, but I love it for this none …

Cash Cleaner Simulator opens with an explosion… and then immediately decides to become one of the calmest games you’ll ever play. After the dramatic intro reminds you that you’re definitely not doing normal, legal work, the game settles into its real strength: methodical, oddly soothing money cleaning. You take filthy, suspicious stacks of cash and turn them into neat, perfectly organised piles like a criminal with …

I have over 200 hours in this game. I enjoyed playing through the main story. I have kept playing long after the main story concluded. I use it when I am having a rough mental health day, and I need to just disappear into my warehouse to organize things for awhile. The QoL improvements in the new update are AMAZING! Thank you devs for continuing to improve a game I have enjoyed for so long. Oh and thanks for the …

As someone who has ADHD this game, is honestly so calming to play. I enjoy being able to sort, clean and dry money It's just so relaxing. Definitely worth playing if you want to find a game that's fun, relaxing and can be quite hilarious at times. 100/100 recommend!

60 of 326 · most liked firstTL:DR This is a very barebones game with almost no synergies between equipment / machines, a real lot of useless or pointless items / mechanics, and without any long term goals. Which practically makes it a sandbox, but somewhat a crude one. If processing (cleaning, drying, sorting) money just for the sake of processing and stacking it in the corner is your thing, then you will probably make the most out of the offered experience. I was looking for some meaning and goals behind the processing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game but PLEASE please make Money Counter XXL auto-pack the bills. I live in constant PAIN having to do it manually this late in the game. I'd probably put in hundred of hours across multiple saves if there was more automation i.e. auto-packing bills. I really like this game and I want to keep playing it. But PLEASE devs PLEASE

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After hitting 100% completed on this game I can say in my opinion overall its a 7.5/10 game. This game is very addicting to the point where you go into a trance like state when playing only to realise you've spent the past 5 hours separating/cleaning bank notes and placing them on pallets. The gameplay is pretty much endless, the game does have a story although its not anything special. After around 25 hours hours of playing though the game its a very good simulator game that make you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I jumped into this thinking it would be like other automation games with an in-depth automation progression system but 26 hours in and I was still moving cash by hand, loading it into machines by hand, crating bundles by hand, sorting by hand, and boxing it by hand. It's the first hours of any other first person automation game the entire time. In other words, this game is the distillation of the worst part of any other first person automation game where everything needs to be done manually.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun but needs some more work on automation, everything being manual is really annoying, there needs to be some sort of conveyor system that goes between machines like in other games. I did everything there is to do in 25 hours, not sure how people are squeezing 200+ hours out of this. With that said, I had fun and got my 15 bucks out of it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty sure i blacked out playing this. One moment I'm loading into the game, the next, 35 hours have passed and I completed the main quest. I uninstalled right after because hooollllly this addictive game is bad for my mental and physical health. Was the work table useful in older versions? Because I only used it once. So it might need some updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is by far my favorite game to play while high. There's nothing like taking a dab and throwing on a podcast about nothing while washing money and sending the proper amount back out to your clients. This game is the very definition of cozy -- there's no enemies (beyond the people that call, but they're more annoyances than anything), there's nothing but you and the infinite hordes of money coming down the chute. There's no pressure to complete the game and if you do accidently accept…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I originally got this in a bundle with another game that I wanted. I ended up playing this more than the game that I got the bundle for! I don't know why, but I find it so satisfying cleaning, sorting and packing mountains of cash into tidy bricks and shipping it off in cardboard boxes (and other interesting containers). If you enjoy cleaning sims like Pressure Washer Simulator or Viscera Cleanup Detail, then you are the type of person this game was made for. If you are a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game wears out Fast and not in a Good Way With 17 hours into this game, I did enjoy the first few hours, it felt satisfying to watch a bunch of cash bundles build up on my table in the game, but I am starting to realize this game doesn’t have a lot and it’s gameplay loop gets way too tedious, my biggest complaint is how one of the unlockable areas is completely useless and a huge waste of money, since there’s only a few blocks that is kinda fun to put the blocks together like a puzzle, to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game to do in the background while your pre-occupied with other tasks. But I think it would be great if they could add some means of better automation (even if its costs a ton of crypto like 20,000) or something where you can basically force feed a machine cash and get it to auto spit out packs, counterfit bills, etc. With the introduction of the "goo" update you are dealing with millions upon millions of $$$ in cash in game and it takes literally hours to process all that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its just a really good chore simulator. Get Money, Sort Money Package Money, Repeat! Would love some kind of Upgrade System for the main Base tho, something to work towards after the Main Story is finished. Just Hoarding more Money is cool but i wanna spend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clean money, sort it, and send it back to your customers. How did the money end up in such a condition? We don't ask. All we do is clean all day and lose our eyeballs during the night for maximum black light efficiency. Satisfaction guaranteed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is perfect. Enough chaos to keep you busy, but enough freedom for you to organize how you want. Even when you "beat" the game, you still want to keep playing? Why? Because its that good. You set your own goals, collect whatever you want, and just play. Its such a fun game to keep coming back to when you just want to have fun.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: | A auto-bundler would already be a big upgrade. As you currently have to either manually | bundle money or press a manual button. Once a machine reached 100 bills it requires user | input again. There is no option to automatically output money. This has been fixed. They added new features to autobundle. This has been released on the 28th of april. I did not try it yet, but from what I can see, it really simplyfies things. It is not enough yet to give me the motivation to pick it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has a lot of style, and I like that. The designs of money and how money flies and piles up, and even sloshes, is all tremendously satisfying. The world and lore is pretty neat, even when it didn't have to be. It's definitely a 'simulator' style game, if you know what I mean. Sorting and organizing can be fun, and there's a lot of room to adept your own way of playing it, though I'm not sure if much of them are optimized at all. The progression of your tools is fun, but unfortunately…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s fun for a little while when the game introduces some mechanics, but it wears off really quickly. This game feels like you should be able to automate the whole process of cleaning cash and sorting it, but even with the best machines you’re just sifting through piles of money, putting them into multiple sorters manually and clicking small buttons on them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One the most satisfying and dopamine inducing simulator games. Top notch sound design scratching every itch in your brain. Enjoyable game loop that can keep you busy and relaxed for hours upon hours. Small batches of new content every now and then that will keep you coming back. The only downside worth mentioning is the lack of an auto bill stacking mechanics for the late game. I can watch and listen to the visuals and sounds of money stacking for hours. But I cannot bother checking on every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely satisfying gameplay loop that gradually gets more automated. I love the physical feel of everything due to grabbing and throwing cash piles, boxes, etc. It's very polished and stylized, with a fun story. I completed the campaign in 24 hours across 3 real days because I couldn't put it down. Then I bought the DLC and I'm replaying it again. This scratches the same itch for me as organizing and cleaning sims, and the 'numbers go up' satisfaction. I don't normally go for crime…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cash Cleaner Simulator was a real surprise for me. It is polished, relaxing, and offers a satisfying gameplay loop that kept me entertained from start to finish. This game is for you if... - You enjoy relaxing games with room for optimization and automation. - You like games that work well in both short and long sessions. - You enjoy finding your own creative solutions instead of following a fixed path. This game may not be for you if... - You dislike dark or slightly absurd…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't play this game unless you have a lot of time to kill, because it is super addictive. You can spend hours just doing the jobs and sorting the money. Great game to get lost in.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's rediculous that they are bringing out DLC. The game is barely finished, everythig in the DLC should have obviously been part of the main game. To extract basic features and make them into paid DLC (which costs as much as the base game due to discounts etc) is a scummy tactic AAA studios use, but not something this studio should have even dared of thinking about. Truly disgusting. We now know that it was Jeffrey Epstein that invented these scummy tactics (and microtransactions etc) I am…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic and highly addicting game. Core loop: you accept a job. It drops a bunch of unsorted, often dirty/wet cash. You clean it, you dry it, you sort it, you strap it in bundles. Then you ship back a nicely sorted pack. They always send you a bit extra so you keep that for yourself and hoard it. You buy better equipment to partially automate the mundane steps. You come up with and design a layout to clean and sort cash efficiently. You get more niche tools - some jobs ask to sort out…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cash Cleaner Simulator #review A crazy game that takes money laundering very seriously, and even literally, with a washing and drying machine. Scan every incoming package for collectibles. No missable achievements, 100% takes ~18h. Link to the full review👇 #indiegame #Steam #cashcleanersimulator
positive · AI labelView post →If you pick up a ball of money out of a big pile, then crouch and swing the ball over the pile it will pick up the entire pile. Very fun. I wish there was more to do at the end tho. I want a DLC where you need to put 1 billion in a pool or something so I have something to do lol. Love this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a lot of fun with this game, I'll write some findings here that everyone might already know but if you're thinking about buying this game it may help. - Put your large dryers on pallet trolleys - When an industrial washer has finished washing, open the door but don't take anything out. Open the door on the trolley dryer, park it right in front of the industrial washer, and the pull the eject lever on the industrial washer. - All the money goes into the dryer at once, close the dryer door,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is strangely addictive. I meant to just pay here & there but now have 253 hours on my first save and 586.5 on my second. There's the occasional very minor bug on the full release end of the game since I've been playing, but nothing serious at all. As for game quality and developer interactions? Oh, if only all game devs were like this. They show this game love and attention. They listen to their players and make intelligent decisions in prioritizing what to fix and add. Nothing but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I keep replaying the game over and over. Do I know and understand why? No. Do I enjoy it anyway? Absolutely.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh my god I started playing this last night and now it's now I haven't eaten I haven't drank haven't slept, I think I need eye drops and I might be developing a DVT. I did have to restart the tutorial like 3 times because I kept trying to jump ahead to organise and nest and get everything just so. It doesn't feel like it should be meditative but the gameplay loop is so smooth. Do not install this if you have somewhere to be, there are no good stopping points ever.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game!! Impressive for a small indie team! Priced right too! 10/10 Will play again!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clean money, get more money, clean that too, have so much money laying around it forms Money Ball, rinse and repeat. This game has no business being as fun as it is, and I was 100 hours in before I realized it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. Edit: This might be my favorite simulator game. All the UI and objects all feel unique. Compared to a lot of other simulator games that feel the same and reuse the same assets, this game feels hand crafted and smoother to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a bad game but it feels like a missed opportunity. Everything about this has "automation" written all over it but the game just does not deliver on that. Even with the biggest, most "automated" items in the game, you'll still to a ton of manual stuff at all times. Here are my main gripes: - The manual stuff you do is quite tedious like aiming your mouse at a small button on a machine and pressing it every 10s while manually refilling the intake. - You can put stuff into a box one…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, Cash Cleaner Simulator is a fun and satisfying game with a unique concept. Cleaning, organizing and processing money is surprisingly relaxing, and the progression feels rewarding. The atmosphere and mechanics kept me engaged until the very end. However, there is a major progression bug related to the large hanging piggy bank. If you destroy it before the objective explicitly tells you to do so, the game can get stuck and will keep asking you to collect money from the piggy bank even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love the game its really fun during down time. can the devs please make this multiplayer!!! that would be awesome
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very unique existence among the 'job simulation game' that were trending. Kinda short with an endless game mode after reaching the goal. But was it a waste of time? Definitely not. Is it fun to play? Still is. Do I regret buying it? Never! 11/10 worth purchasing. ------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 28th April 2026 CAT CAT CAT CAT CAT !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything is GREAT. EXCEPT. Slam Dunk Kingpin. I would rather gouge out my eyes than do another achievement hunting in a game where I just have to sit and shoot hoops in a game that has nothing to do with basketball. I sure do have a basketball game TOMORROW. BUT NOT TODAY. And I don't want it in my gameplay. All jokes aside, great game, and overall I loved the story and the gameplay. The game loop is simple, nice, and ramps up quite fast but easy enough for the player to follow and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wouldn't recommend to people who are into automation or have OCD. In my personal experience, there was just a lot of money piles and not enough ways to organize efficiently between all the bill amounts, traits, and currencies. I mostly just got overwhelmed and gave up when I realized there isn't a built in super efficient storage system for all the money. Otherwise, it's a pretty fun game with a cool concept, but I just couldn't with all the disorganization. If you guys have any more ideas on…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such an organizational cozy game. My ultimate brain rotting time. My first time playing i played for over 21 hours straight, i love this game. If you love sorting through money, decorating the space, while also completing various different tasks i say this game is perfect for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A wonderful game, unlike any other. It's instantly addictive. The graphics are stunning.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is no real way to set up an efficient operation without ridiculous levels of jank. That means a ton of manual labor in a game with clown physics (a shopping cart will make god bricks fly like popcorn). The gameplay cycle is -- as far as I can tell -- randomly generated a la prefix / postfix (like Borderlands item generation), and highly repetitive. There is a story somewhere, but it has no real meaning and is ignored by default (you have a cell phone that chimes, but nothing requires you…

neutral · AI labelView post →Decent management/idle game, gets repetitive quickly but it's very addictive. Playtime: 5+ hours Achievements: Tedious but easy (very RNG based) Overall: Worth a try
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like the game but the object placement is horribly bugged. Items frequently drop immediately when picked up. Cash falls everywhere when I'm trying to put it in a machine - it drops before I can even get the bundle of cash above the machine. Placing furniture is horrible because there's no snapping and you can't tell when things are lined up. Rotating items is awful because the item frequently drops as soon as you try rotating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I put negative because it is becoming clear that the devs have a goal of milking this game with DLCs instead of improving on the base game. Base game is decent and fun for awhile, i spent about 27 hours in total finishing the main story and getting all achievements. But game feels a bit grindy / repeative in the end because you basicly just run back and forth pushing buttons on machines once you get it all set up. I was hoping they would add more automation / making the push button grind less…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was nice at first just everything being chill but it got tiring very quickly. Like a vacuum would be nice instead of picking things up one by one. I can't keep things properly sorted and have to go looking because some of the current quest's cash got thrown into another bag by accident leading to more stress. Black light is annoying and not good enough to find marked bills when in a big pile or in a shopping cart. You have to empty it out and then sort through everything again and again. No…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy tedious and monotonous money sorting (with occasional surprises), you can probably get a good amount of hours in this game. it's enjoyable but perhaps mind-numbingly addictive if you play it for too much. But hey, it has great developers that listen to the community and continue to make awesome improvements.

neutral · AI labelView post →Cash Cleaner Simulator is one of those games where I can come home to after a long day at work, and just relax. The devs said that they would have to re-write the game to make a second player make sense. I, and probably many others, would be just fine with a +1. No extra dialog, same crypto balance, same everything. There is another super popular game out there, one with dungeons and possibly dragons, that operates with the game thinking that any player is the only main character. I say, let us…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I really enjoyed the game and have played through it like 2 or 3 times now. I’m just disappointed they’ve given me no real reason to bother playing it again. It’s an awesome game and genuinely frustratingly has left me wanting more reason to keep playing. They have buffed out a lot of frustration and jank in that time, but as someone who loved it on release I really hope there ends up being more to play. It’s a 10-20 hour that will leave you wanting more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a masterpiece of a game. The art style is amazing. The inside to the little base is very well done. You have some base building aspects, invest in tools and machines of various efficiencies/costs. A short but decent enough story line that fits to the game and astehtics, a few puzzle games around the base. All that in an extremely addicting game loop. I could play this and blank my mind for hours. Thanks for the wholesome self care!
