Many recommend it as a fun, silly co-op experience. [1][2][3] Some note it is short and simple, with limited replay value. [4][5][6]

This game is just so annoying. There's a lot of luck, and what isn't luck and a little bit of skill I just keep getting shafted with my opponents getting points out of nowhere, on a rain thing I knock them over and they got 4 runs for it. The one button controls lacks any potential for it to be fun I thoroughly disliked this game, I was really hoping for something fun

Extremely devoted to historical accuracy! When I won the "Ash's World Cup" with India, beating such teams as Morocco and China, utilising tactics forgotten in modern cricket such as lobbing a bowling ball at the batsman's head to knock him out and cause his body to fall on the stumps, I was already impressed. But when I saw that the brave Indian player's reward was to be invited to Buckingham Palace and get beheaded …

Super fun two-player game. My kids were laughing for hours. Highly recommend for an obsurd, silly and clever low-time-commitment game.

Short but fun enough for a while. Probably better if you can find someone else to play with. Silly game with enough there if you want to kill some time. Would probably wait til it's around $3 or less though.

An amazing gem of a game! I had an excellent time with the developer's previous title Broforce and I think Cricket Through The Ages knocks it out of the park (heh) in the same way. It's hilarious, easy to pick up and surprisingly thought-provoking and philosophical. Dials the whimsy while keeping it readable and very playable - an extremely rare combination. Art, animations, sound design and "feel" are all on point. …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Donut County, Boomerang Fu and Cricket Through the Ages were top games at our PAX West Family Gaming Zone today.
neutral · AI labelView post →Parents and kids loved recharging and resting with our games before heading back to #PAXEAST2025 show. Also some just stayed all day. Zoominies, Cricket Through the Ages and Boomerang Fu have been big hits. www.familygamingdatabase.com/PAXEastBosto...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I played this, I knew little to nothing about the wonders of cricket, but after playing this informative work of art, I discovered all the beauty the sport has to offer. Really fun game, was fascinated to learn how little cricket has to do with team work and skill, and how much it has to do with dinosaurs and giant crab mutants.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Need some help on great competitive family games for our big GamesCom booth. We'd usually go to Towerfall, Cricket Through the Ages and Boomerang Fu but in Germany these are all USK 12. What great 6-player Switch games would you suggest for us? (Also we are open to new indie game suggestions)

neutral · AI labelView post →The game caught my eyes at WASD so I immediately got it after after returning home. It's 'silly' just as I expected xD First playthrough would around 1 hour. Just need to push a single button for everything with your friend. (better switch with different friends each time after a playthrough cuz the gameplay is pretty simple and repeatable) PS: do not recommend to buy without discount if u have price sensitive

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank you for playing #PAXEast2025 it's been a blast! Families enjoyed Zoombinies, Wilmot's Warehouse and Cricket Through The Ages. We laughed, gasped and recharged together. Find you perfect game here: www.familygamingdatabase.com/gameFinder
neutral · AI labelView post →The story of where cricket came from and what it became, fully endorsed by Wisden, Bennett Foddy and Monty Python - cricket legends all. Along the way to Olympic glory and Ultracricket you must swing your arms a lot to bowl & bat, windmill punch, wrestle and stab your opponents, whoever they may be. Beware the Queen, a mean cricketer. Zany nonsense while hilarious fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Wait it's all cricket? - Always has been
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally, an accurate simulation of sport.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played split screen with a kid for over an hour - already got enough laughs to justify buying!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall a fun, interesting, quirky game, good for a quick laugh either by yourself or with a friend. My only complaint about the game is that it never explicitly tells you what the controls are, nor is there any sort of info about controls anywhere in the game, not even in the main/pause menus. With a quick Google search, it seems that the entire game is played with a singular button, but I'm honestly not sure if I believe that, as pressing different buttons/keys seems to cause the characters…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun for a little bit but after you finish thats pretty much everything, but if you have friends over or maybe don't mind it not having too much room to mess around with after then yeah it would be a fun game for you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I made a (not really) working prototype for a #pickleball video game in #Godot! There are so many bugs that I don't know how to fix, but once I do, I think I have the layout to make a silly, fast-paced game that's like Cricket Through the Ages times What the Car with many silly game modes!
neutral · AI labelView post →Playing this game is like being asked for directions on your way to the gallows.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why didn't I review this? What is wrong with me? Maybe I took a bodyline shot too many, I onno. You may not know much about cricket and, honestly, you don't really need to. This is cricket throughout the ages, and frankly, sports mutate over time. Cricket is no exception. All this flummery aside, it's a goofy ragdoll physics games wrapped in a thin veneer of (mostly) sports, and sometimes (post-apocalyptic or prehistoric) combat. It's kind of random, a bit wacky, and presented…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cricket Through The Ages is a massive amount of fun, it's on Apple Arcade but also Steam (where it has a shockingly low number of reviews), so if you like silly physics local multiplayer games like me, check it out (by @freelives.bsky.social 🏏 store.steampowered.com/app/2657480/...
positive · AI labelView post →Pure ragebait, CPUs get insane powerups and you're stuck with having to bowl most of the time. Don't even get me started on ultra cricket making you HAVE to win minigames to be able to bat. Nonsensical games aren't fun if you keep losing due to bad luck.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If this isn't Cricket, I don't know what is.

positive · AI labelView post →it's kind of a nothing burger game, i wish there was a neutral rating because it's not good, but it's not terrible. fun for a little while
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is the greatest game ever
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cricket Through the Ages is a hilarious and charming little game that lets you play cricket across different eras with ridiculous humor and fun gameplay twists — short, silly, and surprisingly addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought a cricket game. Instead, I got cavemen throwing spears, people flying across the map, and athletes with the balance of a shopping cart with one broken wheel. Every match starts with: "Let's play cricket." And ends with: "WHY IS GRANDPA FLYING INTO SPACE?" The controls have one button, yet I still managed to embarrass myself. Verdict: If you're looking for cricket, keep looking. If you're looking for absolute nonsense with a bat, you've found Game of the Year.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →incredibly complex and entertaining, high level of skill required
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short, silly experience very akin to a well-made flash game. If you've got someone else to play with, it would be a blast. I think $7 is a bit high for the price though, I'd say grab it on sale for $2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No idea how this only has 56 reviews... absolute banger
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love the game, but why is there no invention of the duck on PC. Is it coming soon or what?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple but also incredibly fun with a friend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cricket Through The Ages doesn't take a ton of time to unlock everything... which is good because this is definitely a party game to kill an hour with.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dog snoring on my lap. Mint tea in hand. Soup simmering on the stove. Boy giggling over Goose Game antics. 🪿🪿 I love a game that makes him laugh, it’s hard to beat the Goose Game, but Cricket Through the Ages also gets a few belly laughs every time. #gaming

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →at the time of writing this there are literally no English negative reviews for this game(at the time of making this review). Get it then get a friend as it's not really fun without someone else to play it with.
