After playing Thief Simulator, this game is just really no where near as good. Its ok, but there is no rhyme or reason to any of the NPC's. It will be 3 AM and all the NPCs are just roaming around. There is no point where people are a sleep for a bit and you can rob them. If they do sleep, its for about 2 minutes of game time and then they are up wandering around again. It really stupid hard to steal anything …

I played this game back when the demo was out, and it was a blast with friends. In the demo, you started in a house, could go around beating up neighbors, taking stuff from their homes, and selling it to buy upgrades and new equipment. It had a real Thief Simulator vibe open, free, and full of potential. But when the full game came out, it felt completely different. You still go into houses, steal things, and fight …

I really don't get why the average reviews for this game are good. In the beginning I tried sneaking around. When I learned that sneaking doesn't work well at all, and that the devs even admit that this is more of a violent game than the thief game they've made, then I switched over to more of a brutish playstyle. It only took me a few more runs to realize that the combat in this game absolutely sucks. So therefore the whole game sucks. Because you can't sneak. And you can't fight. Your best…

This game is not worth 15 bucks. The NPCs in this game were coded by a gerbil. Lets have everyone walking around at 3 in the morning and have the civilians and cops telepathically connected because they are going to be at the door as the phone starts ringing. I had a better time pick pocketing in schedule I than I did at any point playing this game. For morons reading this just because I think its stupid that cops are on scene the second the phone rings doesn't mean I think it should be a walk…

Let me be succinct: Open a door (not break, open) and an NPC is remotely nearby - detected. Most things are...you know...behind doors. Use sleep gas while undetected - they instead were alerted and called the cops. They had no way of knowing where I was, yet ran right to me. Crashed three times during the first hour of playtime. Refunded the game after the third crash. Get Thief Sim instead.

Now I spend my nights stealing everything that isn't nailed down, avoiding security and convincing myself that one more job won't hurt. This is a no, it's short (it's got rogue-lite elements). Multiplayer just increases chances of getting caught rather than actually helping. This feels like a first attempt but it's the same guys who did Thief Simulator and certain systems carried over, so it was quick to pick up. But those games were small. This one is small, you've got 3 "neighborhoods". But it's like maybe 15-20 houses, a couple of small businesses and a "heist" that is also the size of a normal map. Other than leveling up…

This game is a real step down from the well known thief simulator. The game feels very basic and easy in comparison. Game should be classed as early development in its current state, as many others has said the loot pool is very small and basic, the maps are tiny and feel very random. Having the truck feels too much it was alot of fun working your way up through the different vehicles in thief sim the computer setup in the truck could easily be added to a phone. It is a fun game for up to 6-8…

Way better than their previous game, Thief Simulator 2. Pros : - I didn't even need to run the tutorial to know everything. - This game you can do much more stuff compared to thief sim, making it forgiving and diverse. - NPC are fair but smart, Their movements are systemized so it's not random. - the stealth music are so good, giving me vibe of a SWAT team. Cons : - Solo gameplay is very grindy, you have to run around because of the lack of inventory slots and job division (you have to…

Schedule I, Grand Theft Auto, or Payday 1 or 2 are probably going to be heavier hitters if what you're looking for is a "Crime Simulator". After playing Thief Simulator and disliking the tedium and cryptid braindead AI in that one, we're back with another project that tastes like an part-baked pie. I'm so exhausted of "concepts" and "experiences" and "XYZ Simulators". Very boring and bare-bones experience. Another example of a lazy "simulator" game, probably uses a lot of assets. Feels like everything had been thrown together haphazardly, no fun game mechanics, the world is as plastic and illogic as it can be. Most mechanics are heavily inspired by the Thief Simulator, which already was a mediocre game at best but this one is even worse. Sorry, but the game just isn't it... I mean, what's the point of changing mechanics from Thief Simulator 2 (the game I played and liked a lot) to something that works that weird? Thief Simulator had okay-ish progression in the form of xp for stolen loot and skill-points that you could spend on different skills. What do we have here? Stupid f-ing pamphlets with skills which are scattered randomly around the map. I don't need stupid jewelry upgrade or whatever but gosh this is what I found so…

So far I've only got 13 hours, but there is much more to unlock, and considering this was only around $7 when I bought it, i can see myself putting hundreds, if not thousands of hours into it. Mechanics of the game are similar to Lethal Company in the sense that you have to fill a quota in 3 days (or nights) by collecting items and selling them, and every time you succeed it gets harder. You can use your money to buy tools that will help you or to upgrade your base with furniture. This is a good premise, and if the game was better made it could have been a banger. It takes some time to figure alot of things out but it becomes addicting very fast the more you level up. If you liked Thief Simulator and you think this will be similar, unfortunately it's not. The NPCs are around the whole time so sneaking around is basically just hoping you get lucky and they don't barge in on you. You can't hide in closets or dumpsters, the houses are very tiny, the quota system isn't well fit for this type of game. Overall frustrating and repetitive, just play Thief Simulator instead.

Started out interesting and challenging enough. However, as it goes, the game is rigged against the player. Everything is getting more difficult without you being able to level up to match. You litteraly cannot earn money and exp without a specific skill to open door, safe, etc. You will be, most likely, unable to move past some levels and forced to repeat the same jobs over and over again. Picture this vicious circle: To move on in the game, you need money and exp. You finish jobs and…

Most of the minigames present in the game that's not just lockpicking range from an alright distraction to kinda frustratingly mindnumbing. Eh In the start the early access was like a worse thief sim so I was exited for a good thief sim like but it was just a lethal company game with robbing instead of space I don't know why it just isn't great to me I don't like most rouge likes if they don't have meta progress so yeah.

There's a new video game out today called Crime Simulator. I don't know about you, but I think it's good that the government is getting into the video game business.

I enjoyed this game at first, but then i started noticing all the flaws. There is a lot of nonsensical mechanics that take away from the game. the game itself also doesn't make sense. you go rob places at night just for everyone to be awake...??? when someone notices you, they become invincible. there is a lot more i haven't written in this post but i feel like what I've said is enough
