This port is a mess. Every 10 Minutes the game crashes. And i am not joking. Genuinely. Every 10 minutes. Regardless of remastered or classic visuals. I looked around and found not a single fix that works. And in a certain scene about 3/4 through the game i HAD to find a fix, because i was softlocked due to crashing after entering the vipers hideout. So either i find a fix and can continue to play the game, or …

My dad and I used to play this together when I was 8. This was back when you could get this and Dark Forces on the same disc. This was the first PC game I ever played. He created different save points so I could practice each section of the game. He always said that one day we would have a competition to see who could beat the game the fastest. He passed away when I was 12 so we never got a chance to do that. Now I …

I couldn't solve a single puzzle without a guide! NOT A SINGLE ONE. 10 out of 10, highly recommended for all high-IQ puzzle lovers out there.

Biased AF on this one because this is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm not joking, even if this didn't get a remaster, it would be in my top 3. The remaster is beautiful and about as faithful to the original as it can be. The updated controls make sense and controller support makes this a great short couch game. If you know what your doing this game should take about 2 hours. That said, if you have a AMD …

Still a classic and good game but... Some of the puzzles are just too much. I remember playing through this game over 20 years ago but still struggled with some of them to the point of frustration just because they are too damn confusing. Overall Full Throttle is still fun and a good story. Just not as good as I remembered.

85% of the 176 Steam reviewers we collected recommend Full Throttle Remastered. The complaint that keeps coming up: puzzles are often too confusing without a guide. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Craziest thing happened today, I finished a game. I've been playing Full Throttle Remastered ever so slowly for the achievements for Microsoft Points. I finally hit the end of the road and finished it. 😅

This remaster served as a reminder of why I cherish so many memories of these classics and cultivate a lasting appreciation for them... And why, despite that, I don't play them as often. It's a very fun short story, executed with immense confidence and competence. Served with excellent performances and overflowing with delightful details, style, and timeless charm that you'd find in a 2D…

And I'm not saying that because I like it—I actually have some bad things to say about it too, to which I'll return in a bit. I'm saying that because... Well, because it's true. This game is a milestone that marks a very specific period for point-and-click games. Nowadays, the genre is stagnant (it's actually kinda amazing it survived its battle against the Internet with its free guides). Means there…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Humor is lacking, compared to other genre classics. The story isn't anything special, some puzzles are just poor. Especially the interactive elements, such as the part in getting the goggles and then using them. Or the destruction race event.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ive heard once or twice from ancient proto-boomer gamers claim this was their #1 favorite all-time. It's from early Lucasarts which basically made only good games back then, the pedigree checks out and I decided to try it. I'll put it this way, it would feel criminal to thumbs this down. if you can get it for less than $1 and want to see a game with soul not as a gamer but as a historian you can try this out ( it's pretty short), playing this 30 years after the fact you're not going to have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full Throttle Remastered is a point and click game about a biker. The story was well done and I was surprised that there was voice acting too, coupled with some humor behind it. Some of the puzzles needed you to be quite creative and was quite 'fun'. I enjoyed this game and would recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First played a version of this game released on a package of six CDs with LucasArts games way waaaay way back in the 1900s. It influenced my ideas of what was "cool" in my youth. Yes... I got an idea of what is "cool" from playing a game running in the SCUMM engine. Clearly I am the most correct a person could ever be It is a fairly short play if you no what you are doing, and do not spend too much time puttering around with nonsense. However, this is a Point'n'Click Adventure game in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember getting this for Christmas way back in the 90s and my uncle said "you like bikes and you like lucas films" I figured you'd like this. I stayed up playing all night the entire Christmas break trying to get past the junkyard :D Instant classic and stands up even today!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best point and click. Period.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still own the original. They updated the graphics in nice way, but the gameplay is still '95, The biggest eyesore for me in this remaster is the fact they devoted resources to changing him to 'em in the subtitles.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →41. Full Throttle Remastered Never even played the original but I love classic point & click adventures so this one went on the wishlist and I snagged it on sale fully intending to play it. store.steampowered.com/app/228360/F...
neutral · AI labelView post →Played the original and this version many times before and felt like doing a replay. As a returning player, I loved listening to the commentary track; hearing all these (often hilarious) insider stories about the development of the game really brought a new level of enjoyment to a veteran player such as myself. That being said, this game is timeless and does not get old, a sentiment I share with a large majority of LucasArts adventures of that time. Cannot recommend this game enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game older than me 👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played this and beat it twice in my life. I have to say, it was a slog this time around. The game is janky and frustrating. I also discovered that the visuals were AI enhanced and not hand crafted. Pretty disappointing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, but crashes on AMD due to a known bug: https://www.doublefine.com/games/support/crash-after-minefield-puzzle-full-throttle?platform=all The suggested fixes don't work for me so I cannot finish.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very entertaining for a short time. The character moved a bit slow in my opinion, and sometimes it's really hard to figure out what to do (without a guide), but the humor and music makes up for it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great throwback. Good audio, VA, full widescreen. It's pretty cheap on sale too. So get it for that while on sale. All these old PnC Scumm games are available for free on a lot of different sites (the old versions that are no longer in market). But I got this just to play again (and it comes w commentary)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game has lived rent free in my head since i was 14 and heard about it in a youtube video, i always come back to it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →June Gaming Wrap Up! I'm going to apologize now for entirely boring these are going to be. As you can see, I'm very much back into World of Warcraft and will be for the foreseeable future. Had to find a new achievement game, decided on Full Throttle Remastered.
neutral · AI labelView post →An amazing game, but on the short and easy side. However, it's an amazing experience. This remaster is shit though. I had to use a c++ dev tool called editbin to adjust the executable, so it wouldn't crash every few minutes. After that it worked perfect. 40/40 achievements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, I truly do, it brings back so many fond memories from when I was a kid, but if I have to jump through hoops to finish it because the game crashes consistantly half way through the game, then I can't exactly recommend it to others. Not this version at least.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great story, good humor, nice puzzles. Reminded me of the good old days with Lucas Arts making quality adventure games.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full Throttle Remastered is short, stylish, and cooler than most games twice its size. The story follows Ben Throttle, leader of the Polecats, as he gets dragged into a conspiracy involving murder, motorcycles, and one extremely bad day on the road. The plot moves quickly, the dialogue is sharp, and Ben remains one of the most memorable protagonists from the classic point-and-click era. The biker atmosphere is fantastic. The hand-drawn visuals, excellent voice acting, cinematic presentation,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →88. Full Throttle Remastered (2017) Yeah I really liked the vibes of this game! Too bad the driving mini-games were pretty annoying, but other than yeah it's pretty good!
neutral · AI labelView post →Possibly the greatest point-n-click adventure ever. Visuals, audio, gameplay, colors, design... the best LucasArts experience. Immensely rad being able to swap between old school and updated graphics on the fly. Plus it only takes one hand to play, so you can hold a Tall Boy while you ride. Live long Ben, Mo, and Malcolm. Full Throttle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That one was a great game. The artistry on display is superb. Great graphics, great animations. Most of the puzzles are solid. The controls mostly work. Sound is amazing. The sequence at the end is bad. Timing based and not fun. But at least it is short. Also there is some weird first person motor sycling sequence which did not work for me. Does not change the fact that I was that I had played it sooner. Still peak LucasArts. Get the game and enjoy it with all its warts. Score: 7/9
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great classic game, but surely no one thinks the new smoothed graphics are better than the pixel art, right?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Polecats are not for sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately, there are many bugs. The game is fantastic, the original is even better than the remastered. Note that the game is short.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The vibes of this game are awesome! The puzzles are hard af tho and im an idiot so thank god for the guides
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a classic. Short and sweet, great soundtrack, decent remaster. For all it's flaws, it's hard to give this 30 year old game any hate. If you like point and click adventures, this one is a must have.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've had a deep love and fondness for Full Throttle ever since I first played it back in the 90's. I replayed it on ScummVM in the early 2000's and DoubleFine did the game a true justice with this Remaster which I first beat on the Playstation 4 back in 2017/2018 and I finally got to it on Steam today. What a romp! The Audio is perfect, the remastered graphics are a joy to behold, and the only thing I wish it that there was more of it. I'm sorry it's over, I wish there was more, even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full Throttle Remastered carries the swagger, grit, and charm of a bygone era of adventure games, yet delivers it with a modern layer of polish that makes its world feel newly alive. The game still follows Ben Throttle, the gruff but principled leader of the Polecats, whose life is thrown into chaos when he’s framed for the murder of Malcolm Corley, the last honest man heading the nation’s premier motorcycle manufacturer. From there, the journey becomes a fast-moving road tale filled with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Must have gem in any Point & Click collection. Classic, Golden age of LucasArts - witty, nice puzzles, and a world bursting with biker charm. A bit short tho.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s been a long time since I rode with Ben and the Polecats, but Full Throttle Remastered brings it all back in the best way. The updated artwork is slick without losing the rough, grungy charm of the original, and the fully voiced dialogue still hits with that perfect mix of attitude and humor. Coming to this fresh after Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 2 made it extra satisfying. It’s another reminder of just how good those classic LucasArts adventures were at telling stories with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty mid game. It's short and not all that interesting. The vehicle gameplay sections are terrible. It's sometimes funny but the whole thing just feels rushed. Perhaps I'd have a different opinion if I played this when it came out but it does not reach the heights of DOTT imo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is great. I like how you can switch between the "original" and the remastered version during any-point in the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A classic that never dies. Excellent story line, characters are lovable and difficulty is just the amount you need. A must try if you like puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is a known bug and still no fix available: https://www.doublefine.com/games/support/crash-after-minefield-puzzle-full-throttle?platform=windows I tried everything, Windows mode, classic mode, FPS limiter, clicking the top bar, using integrated graphics (also AMD), Nothing helps. Can't progress the story. So basically broken. To even run the game I had to turn on compatibility mode (Windows 7). Better of with ScummVM and an old ISO.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game crashes as soon as I start it. The interactive menu doesn't come up in the dumpster scene instead when I left click it acts like I'm punching.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I could easily recommend this game for the sound track, and yes, I have the album by The Gone Jackals. But the voices made by Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy are the cherry on the top. The game is like one of those 80's movies, a la Mad Max but this motorcycles instead of cars. It's really fun even after all these years. The puzzles are very logical, and therefore, it's an easy, friendly game for those who have never played this kind before.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing beating old school games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still want Day Of The Tentacle and Full Throttle Remastered on Switch/Switch 2. Also Psychonauts 1+2. DoubleFine, just do it!! Sea Of Thieves would also be a really exciting Switch 2 game. Maybe helping publishing HiFi-Rush?
neutral · AI labelView post →6. Full Throttle Remastered 2D point and click adventure, optional classic pixel art. Tim Schafer's other games look quirkier, but this one's just as charming. The puzzles are clever and fun, the writing is great, and there isn't a moment that doesn't feel completely badass. Maureen is wonderful.
positive · AI labelView post →I have great memories of playing this on my beige 486 and it chugging away during the cut scenes! Its a faithful remaster, which included the incredibly annoying actions scenes (Stadium demolition derby I'm talking about you!) and the great voice acting you remember if you're old enough to have been there at the beginning. Much shorter than I remember, but still as fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool story. Worth a revisit every few years. 5/5
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game, like, finally a LucasArts adventure I hadn’t played yet! It honestly feels like a missed opportunity that I didn’t experience it back in the day. The characters and storyline are great, and while some of the puzzles are a bit strange, that’s very much in line with the classic LucasArts style, so it feels familiar rather than frustrating. One of the standout elements for me was the comedy. As someone who grew up with that particular brand of humor, it was fantastic…
