Many players are disappointed by the lack of basic features like a volume slider and control remapping. [1][2][3] Several reviewers criticize the inability to play online with friends, calling it a major flaw. [4][5][6] Some fans feel the game is a downgrade from Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. [7][8][9]

- has no volume slider - has no control mapping - has less content than the first game - worse online - nermal sounds weird that boy aint right - jon sounds hot bro trust me - load times are super long and were probably added in so by the time you do all the cups its too late to refund - cant play with just friends - remote item hurts my eyes 10/10 game absolutely well developed game thank you nickelodeon!! :)

i was actually really worried this game would include a volume slider and online multiplayer with friends. now i can breathe a sigh of relief! thank you jim davis!

Came out without a volume slider or controls mapping or ability to play with just friends. Stick to Garfield Kart furious racing.

A slap in the face for all Garfield Kart fans. Garfield Kart furious racing is a very competent kart racer with a uniquely Garfield-type feel and I had big expectations for this entry in the series. Unfortunately this game blows. Settling in for a session of "Garfield Kart - Furious Racing" feels like a Saturday or perchance a Sunday, but "Garfield Kart 2 - All You Can Drift" feels more like a Monday. The game …

I'm so mixed on this game. I played the online test and now the day one release. I must say that gameplay wise it's a improvement compared to Furious Racing. It feels smooth, a lot of ramps that you can use to speed up and the game feels fast. The graphics, UI and the maps look great too. You can customize a your car a lot and there's a lot unlockables. Now the things that make me don't like this game. You can't …

60 of 234 · most liked firstDear Eden Games. I love Garfield Kart (Furious Racing). I live for that lasagna life. But I have to say, this new game, it's like Mondays. Like if Monday was every day of the week. I really wish I could like this game, but the constant crashes, inability to play with just my friends online and near mirroring of that other racing game (that won’t be named) make this almost unplayable. Sincerely, A once loyal Garfield Kart fan.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Giving this game a negative review feels like executing my firstborn on national television. I truly hoped and prayed this game would be the second coming of Christ. Instead, it was a third coming. Or crashing, of an airplane. As this game dropped the day before 9/11 as the ultimate one up. Forever marking the month of September as a great tragedy. Please take a moment of silence. I sincerely love the "first" game in this series. Furious racing is an amazing take on the racing genre that…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The negative reviews on this instant classic are all shills paid off by Nermal. He *will* pay for his sins in this life, or the next. Ask yourself, why would you *need* a volume slider? This would imply you wouldn't want to listen to the hans zimmer level soundtrack at the the correct level (160%). I've been playing it on loop the past several days using my surround sound system and WILL NOT stop unless Jim Davis himself knocks on my door. The neighbors may complain and call the cops, but I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a huge fan of Garfield, I was incredibly excited for a sequel to my favorite racing game. But unfortunately, this game does not deliver the same whimsy and fun that I had enjoyed with Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. Compared to Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, this sequel is truly a downgrade in nearly every conceivable way. This game is a genuinely harrowing experience that I would recommend to no one. The only real addition to the game is the ability to do tricks but that's offset by how…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spent 17 minutes in the game before submitting a refund because they swapped the acceleration and drift buttons on controllers from the previous game, and there is NO OPTION changing the controlls. And the MAJOR issue is that there is no custom lobby creation to play with your friends. You either bring controllers and play on a single PC or you play with Randoms via a queue. HUGE BUMMER. Weird buying a game for a discounted price of 22 euro that offers less in 2025 than a 1999 star wars…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dont trust the negative reviews Nermal's writing those on all his alts u really cant trust anythingf online nowadays... Also, complaining about no audio slider is obscene! would you really let Jim Davis down by not listening to the masterpeice of a soundtrack that sounds like an orchestra of heavenly celestial beings playing their finest music fit for royalty with instruments made from stardust collected from the farthest corners of the galaxy and molded together with the richest gold? Um sorry…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game genuinely, GENUINELY, pisses me off. i am something of a garfield kart purist. i enjoyed garfield kart: furious racing, and i respect the original garfield kart. but...this? THIS? REALLY? i cannot BELIEVE the game studio which developed the heaven sent experience which was furious racing has decided to TARNISH the legacy of the brand by releasing this absolute hellstorm of a game. i cannot express my frustrations enough. this game gave me super cancer. if youre thinking of purchasing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trying to 100% this game is a mistake. Online play has hardly any players and you can't matchmake with friends. It's garfield in a kart but it's not the garfield kart I know and love. I bought it on launch and the game hasn't improved or had updates since. But heck, it's garfield.

The city-state (polis) of Athens was experiencing a period of economic and militaristic growth due to their control of the powerful Delian League, an alliance of Greek city-states formed in 478 B.C.E. to defend against future threats in the wake of the Persian Wars. A shift from voluntary contribution to mandatory tribute as a result of an increasingly powerful Athenian Empire allowed Athens to use the Delian League to fund their navy and public…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →as someone who played a lot of furious racing this game is a rather major letdown, purely graphically it's a marvel outside of the horrid microwave filter that is essentially just pasted over the entire screen to try to make it more "comic book like" which completely fails and instead just makes the game look incredibly low res no matter what you run it at. this on top of the lack of basic features like control remapping and a volume slider is completely criminal. outside of these obvious…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are video games that entertain, and then there are video games that reorient the trajectory of the human soul. Garfield Kart 2 belongs firmly, unequivocally, and almost divinely in the latter category. To describe it merely as a sequel—or even as a kart racer—would be to misunderstand the very nature of its existence. This is not simply a game; this is an inflection point in the history of consciousness. From the moment the title screen fades into view, Garfield Kart 2 announces itself…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For years, Garfield has been my guiding light and personal saviour. My favorite food is lsaga. Naturally, my first instinct was to buy GK2 as soon as it was on discount. What can I say? It is an incredible game and easily outclasses Mario Kart 8, just for the fact that you can play as Garfiled and most importantly: Jon Arbuckle. A man teeming with personality and secretly the real star of the show. Now for the review: GK2 starts off very well, with very nice and buttery smooth graphics.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garfield has always been my guiding light, my orange muse, my lasagna-soaked reason for breathing. When I saw this game, I thought my lifelong devotion was finally being rewarded.. that this would be the culmination of decades of lasagnas consumed in spirit alongside my feline idol. But what did I get? Emptiness. A hollow shell of promises. A game so barren it makes silence feel deafening. No sound options, no control remapping, no way to play online with the friends who have walked with me…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They trimmed the fat, the trimmed the meat, they trimmed this series down to the damn bone. There ain't a lot left in this game. They even removed the volume control. You have to randomly match with friends to play with them online which, granted, since nobody on earth plays this game, is very easy to do. The gameplay is actually very smooth compared to the last game which is too bad cuz there really arent a lot of reasons to play this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is not final version right? there is much more update next right? more track right? more mode right? or add story? please say it right?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game makes a mockery of all the ground work Garfield Kart: Furious Racing provided, furious racing cemented it's own unique style of kart racer whilst this game ignores that and instead is a shameless mario kart copy in all the bad ways. Despite the game removing any sense of identity, they could of at least made it playable, the online takes too long to start if you have a unfilled lobby and even then it is considered a warm up and not an official race, at least the first game allowed the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is an 1980s Garfield catchphrase that describes my feelings towards that developers. Even though this game is an improvement design and gameplay wise along with more customization to karts, there isn't as many maps and it feels like there's less content compared to the first game. On top of that there is no way to host lobbies and play with your friends in a convenient way. Also it's baffling that not only is there no volume slides but no way to customize controls, these are basic…

Cons: The game has no online private lobbies When I am playing I run into bugs all the time Sometimes items cannot be picked up, Boxes or coins Sometimes the karts sound stop working There are no sound settings in game Lack of content, only 3 prix Fix the Achievements! I want to 100% your game! Pros: The controls feel much better I like the tracks that are available Graphics are improved from previous game I will be happy…

neutral · AI labelView post →The game is a Masterpiece of itself. It shows great visuals and neat courses. The lack of Multiplayer with friends is BRILLIANT. I want to gatekeep my friends from playing this, THIS IS HOW GOOD IT IS. I'd say around 6-7 out of 5. Definetly the Mario Kart Super Circuit Killer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is truly a marvel that Microids got rid of almost all of the features of the first two games, then replaced all but the worst of them with bad Mario Kart clones and created this abomination. Edit: I 100%ed this game and I cannot NOT reccomend this game enough. None of the achievements award any kind of skill, they require a strange luck of circumstances, except for the 150cc time trials, where for half of them, not only did I have to drive technically great, I had to genuinely look up…

Charlie Kirk died mere hours ago, but I cannot be ANY BIT down about it because Garfield Kart 2 - All You Can Drift came out. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am Garfield and I think this game would be the best game ever if they add more tracks, make online multiplayer have CPUs to fill in online lobbies (guys too many of us are eating Italian cuisine and sleeping so multiplayer with real people is gonna be almost impossible without some big hotshot advertising mixed with a good sale, what a total Monday), and more characters like from the newest movie or some other obscure characters from the comics, also no harry made me sad :( So please Eden…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garfield Kart 2: All You Can Drift is a tragedy. There is so much style and creativity on display. I want to like it, but I can't. The Good GK2 has better map variety in terms of art direction. It has city / forest / docks themed levels, like GKFR, but also "Plate Runner," a parody cyberpunk map, or a map where the player races through a pirate skull. The maps also have more of a cohesive theme within each cup. Although GK2 has fewer maps than GKFR (12 vs 16), those maps have better art…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garfield Kart 2 has better gameplay than previous installments in this storied franchise but unfortunately comes up short in content and even misses on some key features found in most games. For $30 I'm not expecting 8 cups and a crazy number of tracks but 3 cups and 12 total tracks is just abysmally small. Was there not enough budget for another cup and 4 more tracks? Customization is fine for the most part I guess but it'd be helpful to know what you need to do to unlock new parts or what…
