What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 30 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (44 of 70 positive).
Players find Smurfs Kart a charming but generic kart racer that appeals to families and casual gamers. [1][2][3] Many report technical issues, especially with controller support and crashes on Steam Deck. [4][5][6] Some reviewers note the game lacks content and has grindy achievements. [7][8][9]

There's some reviews stating this game had no controller support. That's not true, it's an issue with Steam Input. For some reason it applies a keyboard config to controllers and it's not even using game keyboard mappings. Change the config or disable Steam Input and controllers work again This makes me wish there was a "meh" rating on Steam. The driving mechanics are serviceable, but I'd place them a good distance …

No. On surface level this game has good sound/music and decent (12) tracks. What ruins this game is that the steam achievements get broken very easily in which they stop tracking counting because they somehow get desync from the save file AND the in-game save data can get corrupted, which results in a permanent black screen at the start. Those achievements are also very very grindy. Then the meh stuff. The 12 …

This game is full of Smurfs Wonderful to play, graphics aren't as chaotic as your average Kart game. Very creative and charming level designs. What would make this game much more alive; Adding an online mode with a grand board and a simple custom smurf profile with nickname, would feel much nicer than playing vs AI on Normal difficulty.

Smurfs Kart brings the iconic blue characters into the kart-racing genre with a bright, family-friendly approach that focuses more on accessibility and charm than high-level competition. Eden Games clearly aimed to create a racer that younger audiences and casual players could enjoy immediately, and in that regard the game succeeds right away. The visuals are vivid and cheerful, capturing the whimsical personality …

Smurfs Kart is a fun splash of blue, but underneath it’s a pretty generic kart racer that doesn’t smurf nothing new. The tracks and visuals are smurfy enough, yet the gameplay quickly turns quite repetitive, and the achievements require a grind that feels more like work than play. Gargamel, who should’ve been a big star of the game, is reduced to a background character. An alright game for racing and Smurf fans, but …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to release a racing game with no controller support? Edit: I have been informed that it does have controller support, you just have to fix the config in steam. Keeping this review negative anyway because it's still just a dull generic kart racer and the price is too high to justify buying it as a joke.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, looks great and the Smurfs franchise is fantastic, but unfortunately there is no support for controllers. Read: this game doesn’t work on Steamdeck. Which is a pity since all other Microids games do work on the deck… A very big letdown for a game I was looking forward to.

Garfield Kart 2: All You Can Drift just launched on Steam and is being received like burnt lasagna—charred, bitter, and not fit for human consumption. The original Garfield Kart was a disaster so notorious it looped back around into meme glory. Reviews were scathing, yet over time players ironically embraced its jank. Artefacts Studio later put…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Smurfs Kart is fine for what it is to collect some stickers and cups but the game lacks content in a long run: Pros: + soild graphics + runs smooth without any drops + 12 tracks (also mirror track varriants) + good power ups + how it looks like they dont use rubber-banding if they really want to catch up mostly they use the ultimate power ups, also it is more on the easy side of thing because of it + well made track design + free race mode is basically a custom championships mode up to 12…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't get controllers to be recognized and the forums are a ghost-town (no dev. interaction). Alas, I'll be refunding.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game constantly crashes on Steam Deck, among issues with controls. Unless this is fixed, it's a worthless purchase.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sticker Star is better and so is Color Splash
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →broken trophies are fun
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not work with wireless xbox controllers, so we couldn't play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great couch coop raceing game, even if your partner is not very fond of this type of games... The Smurfs will make them change their minds :) And there is also enough challenges for more demanding players, so do not hesitate to try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice for novice Karters and works great on my steamdeck. Has options for steer assistance and auto accelerate that are nice for young children or new to kart gamers. It crashed once while playing it on my steamdeck. I've had success with up to 3 local split screen co-op and using PS4 controller, X-box controller and a no brand controller.

neutral · AI labelView post →FIX THE ********* GAME. I grew up loving the smurfs franchise both movies book and game. All mediums. Now I've been provided this SH****T. Also why do you put "BABY" mode on by "DEFAULT". Ridiculous. I will say, I have enjoyed the gameplay after turning baby mode off and I apologize to those who were hard at work developing this game. Why is it not online coop. I'll keep playing this and I could change my mind later. Possibly with "BRIBERY". (INSERT APPLE IPHONE THINKING EMOJI 100…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Smurferristic! Smurfastic! Smurfy smurf Smuuuurrrrf! The Smurs rock. I love me some Smurf. I still have my Smurf toys from the 1980's that I had when I was a kid. The pose after they win a race is so epic in this game. Imagine how Conan the Barbarian would look after he defeats a horde of enemies and he stands there with a victorious pose. That's how these Smurfs look after they win a race. They raise their hands as they stand up in their car, in the most epic pose you've ever seen. The…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stream by 3 PM EDT probably? Gonna stop by the World Day festival I missed in year one in Bobo Bay and maybe roll credits (without being lazy), then got aerinde (a bonus game for A Day In The Park, which I streamed forever ago) on deck. Smurfs Kart, Kathy Rain, & another shot at EasyRally possible.
neutral · AI labelView post →For $5.99 this game is fantastic! It’s beautiful, fun, and familiar. It’s a great game. Works beautifully on my Mac mini M4 Pro 16-core GPU 24GB RAM, and Xbox controller at 1080p 120fps through Gamehub.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Game for someone who wnats something to do during school or work, and doesn't know what else to play. Really enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an ok PC MarioKart clone, although Team SonicRacing is far better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No, sticker star is better. Great video game though!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I might even buy the Smurfs Kart game after this, although probably on console because apparently it has some issues on Steam.
neutral · AI labelView post →Great game for my kids. Doesn't seem to support having multiple Xbox controllers connected via Bluetooth on legion go, but it could just be me doing something wrong and I'd still recommend for single payer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome family game !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a sucker for Racing/Kart games. Mario Kart, Sonic Racing, Smurfs Kart. All make for a fun time! I still need to get Kirby Air Riders eventually as well!
positive · AI labelView post →6/10 Fun little Kart racer that plays really well. There are a bunch of bugs, such as no other racers spawing in sometimes. The controls aren't perfect, but it's fun to play with the family.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is really funny have great graphics, good playabilty - APPROVED

neutral · AI labelView post →60th Game Finished of 2023 - Smurfs Kart (2023) It’s a generic licensed cash-in. It controls fine and the tracks are serviceable but the pickups are lame and it’s very limited content wise. Ultimately quite dull. And why can’t I play as Brainy Smurf?
