Players praise the story mode as engaging and cinematic, often comparing it to an interactive DC movie. [1][2][3] Some reviewers note the PC port has technical issues, including stuttering and poor controller support. [4][5][6] The game offers substantial single-player content, but online multiplayer is largely inactive. [7][8][9]

absolutely horrible. was expecting a great gameplay for such a classic fighting game, but all my expectations were ruined. the story was good, but the controller support is horrible. could'nt land special and combo moves half the time despite trying so hard to calmly play it. maybe keyboard players might have better input support, but definetly not recommended for controller players. cant belive i have to only stop …

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is a solid fighting game that stands out mainly because of its DC universe setting and story mode. The gameplay is accessible and easy to pick up, with enough depth to keep matches fun for a while. Each character has unique abilities, which helps add variety to fights. The story mode is one of the stronger parts of the game. It feels like an interactive DC movie with a …

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a solid fighting game that punches above its weight thanks to a genuinely engaging story mode that feels like an interactive DC comic — Superman going full authoritarian never gets old. The roster is packed with iconic heroes and villains, each with their own distinct moves and super attacks that make every fight feel appropriately epic, and the environmental interactions are a nice …

Absolute cinema. I started off weary, not having high expectations due to this games age and graphics but wow did they blow me away. This game was not only fun to play but the lore, the characters, the worlds, everything was perfect. I wouldn't of changed a thing. Abosolute cinema.

neutral · AI labelView post →I’ve not played a Mortal Kombat game since MKIII & I’ve never played an Injustice game, but with WB seemingly pulling the plug on MK1, I think NRS should make a game set in DC’s Absolute Universe rather than returning to Injustice if they have to swap back to a DC property.

neutral · AI labelView post →Became more of a DC fan over the past couple of years. But this game is phenomenal. The game itself is solid but where it really shines is the story. I have always enjoyed the what If's for comic book superheroes. Especially when Superman turned evil. A great fighting game overall.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its not a bad game but i wouldn't really recommend it either. It has 6 - 7 hrs worth of campaign, 60+ hours worth of single player challenges which is really good but it can be repetitive after some time and that's it. Online multiplayer is pretty much dead, unless you have friends to play with online. I remember being hyped for this game back when it was launched. Now that i have tried it, i can finally write it off my bucket list. 3/5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Iunno if this is a cold take or not but I think Injustice 3 is the wrong direction to go as far as DC fighting games are concerned Focusing on a specific IP and giving it a unique art style is the better move imo, like a Batman or Green Lantern focused fighting game
neutral · AI labelView post →My favorite thing about working on this video is being reminded how Enchantress in Injustice 2 has some of the most savage intro dialogue of any fighting game character ever.

The gameplay is accessible and easy to pick up, with enough depth to keep matches fun for a while. Each character has unique abilities, which helps add variety to fights. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’m not a massive fighting game buff—I generally stick to SoulCalibur—but I’ve dabbled in just about everything. I jumped into this one strictly for the story, and as a comic book fan, it didn't disappoint. The Good: The Narrative: The story mode is surprisingly fluid. It weaves the fights together well, and if you love the source material, the plot is the main hook here. The Cast: The roster is huge. You get a massive toy box of heroes and villains to choose from, which keeps the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished the game at 82 hours with all achievements unlocked. The story was way better than expected for a fighting game, and the combat stayed fun even while grinding achievements. Some challenges took time, but overall it was a satisfying game to fully complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like an Injustice Style Fighting Game!
neutral · AI labelView post →This game actually works online without desync issues on modern systems unlike Injustice 2. The story always gets praised but I found it overrated. The alternate world/doppelganger plot really lowers the stakes but its cool seeing Superman kill off heroes and commit atrocities. The real meat of the game is in its 300 challenge STAR missions, each with sort of a story of their own. You'll find countless enjoyable hours in that mode.

neutral · AI labelView post →Im a big comic nerd so of course I love this game. The story is absolute cinema. Gameplay still very fun. Plays great on steam deck. Also low in size so that's a big plus. If your a fan of superheroes you will enjoy this game

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick Summary Story Mode: Short (around 2–3 hours) but surprisingly enjoyable with a cinematic DC storyline. Game Modes: More content than expected — Story Mode, Battle Mode, and 300 S.T.A.R. Labs challenges. Online Play: Surprisingly still active. I managed to complete the required ranked matches for achievements. Ultimate Edition: Having the Ultimate Edition means everything is already included, which is nice. Overall: I originally claimed it free years ago and tried it for fun.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like fighting games casually, and I think super heroes are kinda lame, especially DC. But I ended up really liking this anyway. But why should I be surprised? I loved MK 9, and this is the same team. The graphics don't hold up, but they're fun to gawk at in that way because I remember them being top notch when this game came out. I didn't even bother with the online, but ignoring that you still get 5 hours of story that I found enjoyable, and something like 100 challenge missions, plus extra…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best fighting games of all time. All the characters are well designed and fun to fight against especially superman and doomsday :). I hope there is a sequel to injustice because this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome and i think netherrealm studios can NEVER make a bad fighting game to save their lives. do yourself a favor and buy this wonderful game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I totally get why NetherRealm couldn't do their full Kombat treatment for DC characters, it would have been cool. Despite that, the story is great and the characters all have thematic movesets. Though gameplay wise I wouldn't recommend this over the sequel despite the fact that one has what I feel is a weaker narrative.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Windows 10, Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER. Great game, bad port. The game stutters multiple times during the stage transitions. In the long run, you'll likely be better off emulating it or simply playing it on a console. Not Recommended.
