Local multiplayer sets Player 2 as a LVL 1 character while Player 1 stays at whatever level you have reached. Thus, playing with a buddy on the couch is grossly mismatched. Every single fighting game ever made in the last 30 years has been local coop friendly, so I am so confused/disappointed/angry/ripped off why this game hasn't been fixed with such an obviously easy patch. Reading through the board comments, a lot …

A solid sequel overall. Really enjoyed the story and got lots of screenshots from it. Growing up I was always more of a marvel fan but over the years I really grown to appreciate DC a lot more. Chose Batman side in the story because he was right plus Supergirl was on his side so it was a no brainer. It also has Hellboy and Leo from TMNT as playable characters! I would love for them to make a third one but I guess …

A great follow-up to the first game. The story is surprisingly engaging, the combat feels smooth and satisfying, and the gear system gives you a reason to keep playing. Some grinding can drag a bit, but overall it’s a really fun fighter easy to enjoy even if you’re not super competitive.

Injustice 2 is a polished and content-rich fighting game with a great DC roster. The story mode is surprisingly good, the combat feels smooth and satisfying, and the gear system adds fun customization (even if it can be grindy). Plenty of modes, solid online play, and visuals that still hold up. Microtransactions exist but aren’t necessary. Overall, a very enjoyable fighter and an easy recommendation for DC fans and …

Injustice 2 is a really fun fighter that’s easy to pick up but still has depth if you want to get serious. Smashing enemies as DC heroes and villains never gets old. The gear system is cool, even if it can be a bit grindy. Overall, it’s a solid time whether you’re playing casually or competitively.

Critics, per Wikipedia
Injustice 2 received generally favorable reviews, according to Metacritic. Reviewers lauded Injustice 2's story and presentation. Eurogamer's Wesley Yin-Poole praised the game's narrative and visuals, describing them as "impressive" and a "significant step up" from Injustice: Gods Among Us. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the gameplay and story and graphics and everything are just phenomenal... WHY can I not have local pvp players select outfits as player two? All my hard work in dressing up my buff Barbie dolls means nothing if one player is guaranteed to have their ass handed to them by late-game gear just because it looks pretty? Not that the devs will read this, not that the devs care, not that it'll ever be fixed by anyone but the community.

There were NINJA TURTLES in a DC game - turtles that I loved since forever - but why? I quickly learned TMNT were guest characters DLC - which ultimately sold me the game. Ironically, these might be the BEST turtles you can find in any video game of the last decade (Shredder's Revenge is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quickly renamed "Zoners Among Us" by the community, Injustice 2 still had all the qualities of a great fighting game. It looked amazing, felt great to play, and offered a ton of content with characters from all over the DC universe, as well as a few guests. Come to think of it, this was also the last good game from NetherRealm Studios, which takes us back. From the stages to the characters, the game still looks amazing thanks to a visual style that just doesn't age. The various arenas that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great sequel! The main story continues from where we left off in Injustice 1. I really liked the story. There are many improvements in combat and visuals. Single player challenge is really good when compared to the previous one with pretty good rewards. The addition of gears and shaders for characters is really nice. As for the online mode, this too has the same problem as injustice 1. It is really hard to find players to play with. However If you have one, then the game is really fun. Even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ll admit I’m not usually a fan of superheroes, so I avoided this game for years.... but that was a big mistake. As a huge MKX fan, I was pleasantly surprised by how similar this game feels. Aside from a few differences, it almost feels like I’m playing MKX again, and I’m really enjoying it so far. I highly recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the characters in this game and all. But the controls, keybinds, actions everything are so messed up. Even if you try change em most of em dont work. THEY MIGHT, work on controller. But i do not own one. And i dont wanna own one. And i shouldnt need to own one, to enjoy a game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can get this and mortal kombat pretty cheap together and I'd recommend getting the bundle on sale. It's short and fun fighting game not much else to add.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Injustice 2 starts off with a very strong and thrilling storyline, feeling just like an interactive comic book, much like the first game. However, as the game progresses, this magic unfortunately fades. The main reason for this is the developers' mindset of "we must include every character in the story and give everyone a role." Just for the sake of forcing you to "play a round with this character too," seeing two heroes on the same side suddenly fighting to the death over a minor argument…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an excellent fighting game, though there are some things that aren't so great about it. For starters, the graphics are top notch. Characters and environments are insanely detailed, and everything looks great! The music is kinda bleh imo, but the gameplay and such makes up for it. New to the Injustice series, or fighting games in general? There's a tutorial mode that goes really in-depth on the various mechanics, and even fighting game terminology and things like "frame advantages"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love Harley Quinn. I love Fighting Games. Harley Quinn + Fighting Game = Love. That is all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay feels kinda good, it has a nice story too. Maybe worth a try!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An OK game if u like DC characters and gear/customization system, combat is kinda fun. Otherwise the story is ass and gameplay is very repetitive with multiverse mode as your main singleplayer loop. Might be better if online player base count is high.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldnt play it the game totally removed control of my keyboard for my remote and i was not able to check messages or anything. I refuse to allow a game to control my ability to access my pc I uninstalled the moment i saw this was happening I never consented to such restraint. Consent is a big deal!! DO not touch what is not to be touched and do not tell me i cant use my keybaord while playing big thumbs down if i had more thumbs i would give more thumbs down!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UNPLAYABLE ONLINE IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS 11 Desync will happen unless your opponent is running your exact same version of W11. Decent fighter with badass characters and animations thoughbeit.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a complete Injustice that 1 achievement is locked entirely by RNG - and whoever it was that decided an ability is locked behind a box should be shoved in a box and shipped off to a prison camp 1/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →solid story, batman's no kill rule isn't bs, the lack of death penalty is (electric chairs are in the game and the arkham trilogy so riddle me this - why TF did they not give the joker (and other mega super evil folks) the chair? scarecrow is also completely right about wonder woman. great voice acting, roster, graphics and animations. i suck at fighting games, 9/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic, fun game with excellent fight mechanics. The fighting style for all of the characters are so well flushed out and unique while the graphics and visual effects complement them excellently. This game doesn't look like it's aged at all. This is in addition to an excellent story that you normally don't expect from a fighting game. Unfortunately, having gotten into the game about 8 years late, I couldn't fully enjoy the online modes due to ridiculously long waiting times in lobbies.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The large roster of iconic DC characters — from Batman and Superman to lesser-seen favorites — ensures there’s a playstyle for everyone, and mastering each fighter’s unique moves is genuinely fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The lootbox system sucks but if it wasn't this game would have the best personalization in Netherrealm, history. Gameplay is super fun and the story is acceptable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Rock Solid sequel to a decent fighting game. Injustice 2 features one of the best story modes in the genre plus all the DC super heroes and bad guys that you could want to play as. If your a Detective comics fan this game is definitely worth checking out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After troubleshooting for almost 20 minutes the game was left as an unplayable mess on the PC version. Unsure about the console version but for PC you can have constant crashing even if your PC heavily surpasses the spec requirements. Do not buy this game on PC unless someone makes a mod to fix the PC port.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I personally dont like the fighting mechanics in this game, I prefer more of a tekken style fighting. I only played this game because im a hardcore DC fan!.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They really tried to make Superman evil, again. For Zack Snyder fans only.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A solid 2D superhero fighting game. A lot more customization options compared to the first game which can slightly change things up a bit. The attacks and super moves for each character are pretty good but executing and connecting combos correctly can be a bit challenging. Also, the graphics and animations are pretty good along with fairly lore accurate character designs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a very good game a solid 8/10 they should add a block button tho

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10, Worth When On Discount: Likes: Disclaimer - This review will mostly touch on the single-player (story mode) aspect of the game. The cinematics in this game are impressive. The amount of detail in the faces and animations was astonishing, although the cutscenes do have a bit of lag. The cutscenes add so much to a very well-thought out story. The story is fantastic. Even as a novice in DC lore, the story excited me and got me to care about the characters and their mission. There was an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The epitome of the worst of modern gaming. Contains spyware, google Redshell. Also subtle consent that basically says, "yes please spy on me". Finally your purchase is just your "initial purchase". You are constantly marketed to, to buy elements that should have been included. It is more a platform to bundle financial transactions than a complete game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game. Beautiful graphics with a interesting storyline...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was one of my first fighting games. It's also how I found out these are NOT my thing. Let's be clear, I love what they did here. Having a game like this to experience a DC story is something that needs to happen more. The characters, while sometimes off compared to their normal versions, are voice acted amazingly. The dialogue was written very well with the actors only complimenting the characters. I loved seeing how their relationships had changed and evolved after the events of this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As of this review the legendary edition of the game is on sale for 5.99 which for 1 dollar extra than the original is definitely the one you want. -If you're buying it for the single player then it's definitely worth it at this price point. -If you're buying it for multiplayer to play with friends like I did, then it's not worth it because on windows 11 it will say desync error and kick you out 90% of the time. If you and all your friends have windows 10 then you should be okay. Will update if…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm late to the party, but the whole unlock system for the outfits is pure FOMO garbage. I want to play online and local multiplayer with different outfits, just like Injustice 1. If they asked for more money to buy outfits, it would be better than this.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who is only playing this for the story and doesn't like fighting games. the problems of the first games story only further compound the effects on this one. Because they made superman so cartoonishly evil there literally is no redeeming quality about him no instead of going the anti-hero route they made him just full evil which is just bad writing very common with DC still lacking nuance. Plus this game only further highlights how detached batman is from reality, the naivety of his…
