What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 14 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (191 of 194 positive).

Full Disclosure - I received this game for free, and I helped playtest it in the 4 months prior to its release. Knuckle Jet is the latest entry in Rain Games' Teslagrad universe. This time, the theme is a 3D-2D action platformer, featuring hazardous obstacle courses, oodles of enemies and objects to smash, and an emphasis on speed. Here's what you can expect to see: Lots of levels: Around 75 levels across five …

Truly excellent action platformer. 100% stable frame pacing, looks great, perfectly precise controls that are fully re-bindable, lovely graphics and gameplay. A straightforward part collectathon, part action title, that really emphasises speed runs. It's NOT a metroidvania but you have to search around each level (one example hint, on very first level, go immediately straight up with the basic punch and jetpack and …

The music is stellar, the gameplay is fast and responsive. Bouncing off a surface is punishing, since the rebound often leads to ricocheting onto the next surface, or spikes. So many spikes. I'm also getting very intimate with going diagonal and making split decisions to change directions mid air. Especially when getting all of the hidden objects in each stage. It’s a game for people that wanna go fast and have the …

I've been playing for a while, and I've honestly hit a bit of a wall now, so I thought this would be a good time to leave a review. Hopefully this is fair enough to help anyone interested decide whether this game is for you. First, the good parts: 1. The difficulty in the early game is handled pretty well. It slowly gets harder as you get more comfortable with the controls. New elements are also introduced little by …

Very fun! Takes a little getting used to with all the different movement abilities, but once you start chaining jumping, punching, knuckle jetting and nitro jetting to perfectly (at least almost!) manoeuvre through tunnels of hazards and enemies it feels incredibly good and fun! Also the music slaps! I'm looking forward to see what more the game has to offer and to go back for some speed-runs of the levels!
Summarised from 22 of the 52 public posts collected about this game; every point cites the posts behind it ([n] opens the post) and the split is counted from the posts’ own ratings. Updated Oct 13, 2026. How summaries are made
100% of the 14 Steam reviewers we collected recommend Knuckle Jet. The complaint that keeps coming up: level design can be too big and loose. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

neutral · AI labelView post →#screenshotsaturday thought i'd show off some character closeups from Knuckle Jet. we're going for a bit of a miniature stop motion model look, ala some older game magazine covers or the manual artwork for mother/earthbound

While wishlists aren't purchases, they do help Valve decide how much visibility they want to give a game when it launches. So if you've got a Steam account and 10 seconds to spare, please wishlist! Thanks! store.steampowered.com/app/3199470/...
neutral · AI labelView post →BOOM! We are announcing our new game project today. Knuckle Jet! It is set in the Teslagrad universe, aaaaand... it is a platformer. We had lot of great mechanics ideas that don't fit the main Teslagrad series. Knucklejet is the result! Wishlist us on Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/3199470/Kn

positive · AI labelView post →playing around some more with obnoxious camera angles in Knuckle Jet. at this point i really want to put in a cheat menu just so those of us that are obsessed with golden era MTV style can play the game in a non-practical but rad manner

neutral · AI labelView post →since it's a 3d game under the hood I really want to include some unlockable camera options in Knuckle Jet that aren't necessarily the best way to play it, but look cool

neutral · AI labelView post →#screenshotsaturday what's fun about making a sidescrolling game in 3d, is that you can mess around with the camera. (it's not very practical playing Knuckle Jet like this, but flirting with the idea of putting "skateboard video camera" in there if we get around to adding a cheats/bonus menu
neutral · AI labelView post →I love the guys at @raingames.bsky.social, and I am so excited about their latest game KNUCKLE JET. It's a "ricochet action platformer" with a gorgeously quirky art style meant to evoke old action figures and what are you waiting for go wishlist it- store.steampowered.com/app/3199470/...

neutral · AI labelView post →it feels weird calling Knuckle Jet a platformer, because if you play it well, you can probably avoid touching the floor at all in most levels. it's a "flight game with backup platforming mechanics", i guess?

neutral · AI labelView post →Since Knuckle Jet is an action game, i'm trying to keep ingame dialogue short and to the point. Playing around with making ingame collectible scrapbook entries expanding the lore and connections to our other games though (this one's just a thrown together test, typos and all)

neutral · AI labelView post →I love what an insane/eclectic mix of SatAm cartoon themes, obscure Norwegian New Wave, spesific 80s synth nerdery and pinball music the Knuckle Jet soundtrack turned out to be. I fully believe it's the best soundtrack we've ever had for a game and music has always been the best part of our games.
positive · AI labelView post →Part of the style of Knuckle Jet is good old Saturday Morning Cartoons, with associated toys! We loved the idea of this aestethic in a game.
neutral · AI labelView post →Oh, these games were all fantastic. KNUCKLE JET was my favorite of the night, every inch of it oozing with anticorporate ire, like a punk Rocketeer. It's also SUPER smooth; closest I can remember in recent years was that sand-digging Pepper Grinder. Every inch of this game absolutely slaps!
positive · AI labelView post →fun core gameplay, level design is too big and loose

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a wonderful platformer with awesome visuals. very rare level design style of large areas to move in instead of small platformer jumps, and so on. just play it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely fun game. The art style is unique and delightful and the gameplay is on point. The soundtrack is hands down one of the best I've heard. You can tell this was made with a lot of love. Highly recommend

I loved the music and sense of physicality in the sound design. All the tools available for you make you always feel like you could have done better, remedied the situation. Things that could have been better - Sometimes enemies do not telegraph when they are deadly on impact. The progression locks was not appearant to me until I had played through a good amount of…
