The reverse dungeon-crawler premise is fantastic, and laying out traps to thwart pesky heroes makes for a great first few hours. Unfortunately, the gameplay loop quickly devolves into a repetitive grind once you realize how shallow the strategic depth actually is. It’s okay for a quick casual session, but it peters out way too fast to keep you hooked long-term.

Legend of Keepers was a really pleasant surprise. I love that you play as the “villain” managing the dungeon instead of the heroes. The pixel art looks great, the soundtrack is atmospheric, and the combat is more tactical than I expected. Very easy to get hooked for “just one more run.” Definitely worth trying if you enjoy roguelite games.
