S U M M A R Y My Big Sister is a character-driven 2D hidden object adventure-puzzle game. Overall, I don't recommend it for the following reasons: - Barring one scene, there is a complete lack of tension, suspense, and stakes, especially for the creepy horror feel that the game is clearly going for and due to the fact that there are multiple endings; - The endings are unsatisfactory because they feel cheap and …

Very fun and enjoyable RPGMaker-like psychological horror. The game isn't particularly unique or anything but still has enough incentive for you to finish it from the start to the end. I guess it's mainly because of the rich story which has multiple endings. You don't fight any enemies so the gameplay is quite straight forward. Basically, all you do is solve easy puzzles and explore.

My Big Sister is a hidden gem. It is fantastic experience that is balances a tone of dark themes with light-hearted humor & clever wordplay. And the music BANGS! It is such a huge step up from the other game I have played from this developer, Red Bow, that it is borderline miraculous. Underrated Game About Sister-Issues! This is a very hidden gem in the pixel world which mixes psychology, a little bit of gore and a unique scenario for a small mystery adventure game. Shifting through the dream worlds you have Luzia who is the little sister and Sombria the big sister. They have the typical caring//slash sister bond and one day there was a robber incident that changes their life upside down. Luzia is taken into a bizarre world with spirits and her sister is a zombie! Will you…

If you like RPGMaker horror games, pick this up. There's a bit of jank as it's an older game, but lots of love, and a story that starts interesting and goes batshit loco. **Important Note: This game does not have controller support. To play on Steam Deck you will need to assign controls/use a community layout. The community layout I used worked fine. My Big Sister is a horror-themed pixel adventure game presented from a top-down perspective. Although I played the game for only 30 minutes, the awkward gameplay, subpar level design, sometimes bad art, and poorly written dialogue that consistently undermined the horror elements prevented me from continuing. #Platinum 184: Red Bow. Made by the same people who made My Big Sister. It's a game with 'horror' or 'creepy' elements but not so much a horror game. You play Roh, a girl who keeps experiencing weird dreams where she helps people (portrayed as monsters) move on after death.

This is a surprising game. It does have horror elements in the form of disturbing imagery but the 8 bit art makes it less scary. The story is great. Its about a tale of two sisters.

While the art and music are good, and it does deliver one very cool scare, the story dropped off a cliff early on and never recovered. The vibes and tone just didn't work for me, or (in my opinion) with each other, and the whole package feels like it got 70% of the way there and just stopped. There's odd oversights in the gameplay (notifications that pop up when inactive) and the sarcastic dialogue never lets the dread live and breath. Gameplay-wise it's also fairly basic, just collecting…

Brilliant adventure game on a buget but with a heart and enthusiasm. No amateur work. Feels like the bad endings were rushed or the game's story was changed during development. There's some paralel stories going on right from the start that contradict the apparent true story. In a way the paralel surrel world has more depth than the real world, but only the true ending ties all loose ends story wise, just like Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl for example. Pros: - Brilliant memorable soundtrack; -…

I originally gave this a negative review, then thought about it, and decided that it's not really that bad enough to warrant one. The game has the right mix of spookiness and cuteness and the first half or so of the game is genuinely fun. The only thing that really drags the game down is the story. There are WAAAAAAAAAAY too many twists and turns meant to throw the player off but just become confusing and convoluted, and there are multiple endings that don't really make a lot of sense.…

You ever look through your games that you've yet to play and sort of wonder...how did this get there? It is easy to believe that this game was made by a single person working alone. It has that feel of being some student's first year coursework or something. Charming in its own way; cutely gothic and with some genuinely hevy undertones. The gameplay is rudimentary, never frustrating. It doesn't quite overstay its welcome but I would still have welcomed it to be a bit shorter. I made a point…

... I still have no idea what this game is about and I completed all the endings; the story is kind of all over the place. I did enjoy that there was no "obvious" bad guy or "liar" that you get in most games so you don't really know who to trust. With that said, even with all the confusion, I'd say it's worth a play. The main character is kind of endearing and it keeps the dialog interesting. You can get a full achievement run and all the endings done in about 4 hours. You can watch my…

I liked the game despite its flaws but I wouldn't reccomend it. The grammar isn't the best, I'm not even a native english speaker and I could see it easily. Every single time I would try to skip a cutscene the game would crash, you are better just holding the enter key so the text scroll faster. There is some visual bugs, the red exclamation points appearing where they shouldn't and pixels on the screen when you open the inventory. The puzzles are p*ss easy and there is no gameplay, it…

It is pretty good story, fun and has great personalities for the characters. I think this game is really enjoyable. The story is good, the puzzles are good, I was lost sometimes, I did not know how to use it and where to go. But the game reveals what to do if you cannot find it after a while. This is a 2D retro pixel 2D top down "JRPG" style adventure game/interactive novel where you unravel the story by solving simple inventory based environmental adventure game puzzles. The game features ugly retro pixel "art" which is used as a substitute for modern PC graphics by developers who lack the talent or budget to deliver a product of contemporary quality. The developer was unable to make the game function properly with widescreen support despite the game being released in 2018.…

My Big Sister is an indie adventure game developed by Stranga Studios that tells the story of a young witch named Luzia who is searching for her lost sister, Sombria. The game's hand-drawn visuals and surreal atmosphere create a unique and intriguing experience, but unfortunately, the gameplay falls short. Simple but interesting adventure game that takes back to the early 2000s in terms of style and contents. I enjoyed the soundtrack, but the graphics too have their charm, especially the decayed urban areas and the anime-inspired magical forest. Puzzles are nothing to write home about but they're not the focus of the game; the writing and atmosphere are, and they're nice too, even though the sisters are a bit too sassy and sarcastic for what is supposed to be a horror/psychological game.
