Players find Noosphere a unique but rough psychological horror game. [1][2][3] Some praise its atmosphere and puzzles, while others criticize bugs and poor design. [4][5][6]

This is a very rough game. There are some good ideas here, but the game is held back by multiple design and technical issues as well as game breaking bugs. I liked that the dev had the passion to create something unique, even though the idea is far too big for an indie game to handle. Firstly, there is very little horror, and that's mostly due to awkward creature designs and terrible, terrible animations. The fact …

https://youtu.be/SxjGyM6EsI0 It's peculiar, rough around the edges and a lot could be improved, but virtually everything about this feels more... Unique than most other horror games. It feels like the developer had a vision and didn't mind taking a few risks. You'll go back and forth between your conscious and subconscious, completing puzzles, fighting off enemies, but you'll also be intrigued, wondering what …

Noosphere has been on my Steam wishlist for about a month and it was time to try playing it. I have to say that I was not disappointed with the game even though I found a few minor bugs. One time I even fell into textures and got stuck there for a while :/ But after restarting the game I never encountered this again. Nevertheless I consider Noosphere to be a good enough psychological horror especially considering …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disclosure: I played this game with a key provided by the developers for the purposes of review. Overall, this game feels very indie, and not always in a good way. The camera movement feels erratic and actually gave me a bit of motion sickness after two hours of play. This game can be very frustrating, as there is little direction on how to solve puzzles. Overall, this still feels pretty beta unfortunately, and I doubt I will go back to playing it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played on Linux using Proton-GE, Not a good Game, Graphics are not good, Sound is mostly bad, Music is okay, Voice acting is bad, Game play is not that good, and this maybe a Proton issue but frame rate was all over the place (200+ down to 8 etc). Found this game very under par and boring, I can not recommend this Game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/0ek5CyiRwF8 This game is for sure worth the $7-8 that it's being sold for. I have not yet beat the game, but so far the story seems pretty cool and the graphics are good. This game has some jumpscares but there's also a lot of puzzle solving which I like! It's not just a key hunt like you see in a lot of indie horror games so that is a plus! I will definitely be jumping back into this game and into Vincent's subconscious. If you would like to watch my first playthrough of this…

neutral · AI labelView post →Noosphere is a very average walking simulator with a somewhat confusing plot and ending. At the current price point its worth a grab if you love walking sim but with some frustrating puzzles. It is even on sale right now 33% off on fanatical.

positive · AI labelView post →Noosphere, overcoming fear and trauma through one's dreams First of all, I want to say that I really like the concept. Being able to influence the dream world through actions in the real world to solve puzzles is a unique idea, and it's something I have never seen done before. Unfortunately, the mechanic feels somewhat underutilized. While it is used throughout the game to solve puzzles, it only appears occasionally and never quite reaches its full potential. My main issues lie with what I…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know how to play it!!! It's very scary!!! Is this from the makers of Phasmophobia??? You could end up anywhere and with anyone as soon as you let your guard down for even a second!!!! Why is it so scary? Or am I just being suspicious? I don't get it.

positive · AI labelView post →I really enjoyed this indie-horror game. It is mainly a walking simulator and has an interesting story along with a surreal world and some decent pacing. Some puzzles were confusing but all in all, a solid indie-horror.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to play this game for about a half hour but it is super rough around the edges and plays like a college school project or an early access demo. Couldnt get into it at all. Watched a quick playthrough on youtube and thats all I did for this game I dont regret it. Passion project and I can respect that, but its super indie and weird, I could not figure out what was going on, and I wasnt having fun while playing it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. Don't bother. Note to design staff: having zero light doesn't make a game scary, it just makes it annoying. Constantly running into walls isn't fun, it's stupid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So to begin, we requested this game and the developer was nice enough to send it to us. That being said, this will not affect my review of the game. First and foremost I want to say that the game is a bit rough around the edges, it's voice acting is a little odd, it's storytelling is very obscure and it's verse itself is odd. I think that there's some very small changes that the developer can make to make the game a bit better. Easy things like disabling the noises when jumping would actually…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →what a strange and bizzare game honestly ive no idea what was going on ,walking sim with a few chase bits ,was ok .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very interesting game that lets you dive into your subconsciousnes, just like you do within dream in Inception. There are many secrets and unexpected things you can find there, it's all for you to explore and figure out. Nice graphics, easy control, unique atmosphere. Reccomended
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest, I'm terribly afraid of horror and this game is no exception. There are many locations in which the whole story takes place, planned transitions between places, there are screamers and unexpected moments, to be honest, I squealed like a little girl.

neutral · AI labelView post →@cdata cool! I haven’t dug into TTRPG on socials much, so didn’t know about Lore24. But OBVIOUSLY this is the first multiplayer test sphere for #Noosphere right????
neutral · AI labelView post →@roland @vanderwal and regardless of public/private, we’re missing multiplayer. Looking forward to trying out Subconscious and the #Noosphere protocol later this year. I’m hoping for some capabilities around backlinks / linking / aggregation of terms that we haven’t seen since the pre-spam Technorati years.
neutral · AI labelView post →Not a great game at all graphics are bad I keep getting stuck to the walls and objects on the floor I keep having to jump all the time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's cheap, especially when on sale. you get what you pay for. Very clunky and whilst there are some nice aspects, i just wouldn't bother.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →kinda buggy but a creative horror game. some puzzles we're not signalled great but still it's a doable game if you are into it check it out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →such a horrible game no story development and bad voice acting game looks like it was destined in 2000
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story is interesting. The gameplay is simple, yet, it works pretty well. I played it live and we all enjoyed the experience. If your looking for a indie psychological horror with puzzle aspects, I do recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To start with the best aspect of the game, the OST. This is without a doubt the best OST in any Warhammer material and is up there with one of my favourite OST in videogames, with special mention to Children of the Omnissiah and Noosphere for being absolute bangers.
positive · AI labelView post →Noosphere, developed by KOEX studio and published by GrabTheGames alongside the developer, is a first-person psychological horror adventure that blends environmental puzzle-solving with introspective storytelling. Set within the fractured subconscious of its protagonist, the game explores themes of identity, trauma, and inner conflict through surreal environments and symbolic imagery. Rather than focusing on traditional survival horror mechanics such as combat or resource management, Noosphere…

This timeline chronicles 25 years of The Quickening: the science confirming what mystics always knew, the psychedelic renaissance, disclosure of non-human intelligence, and the return of sovereignty to the individual soul. It is necessarily incomplete. The awakening is too vast, too decentralized, too…

neutral · AI labelView post →Pretty good psychedelic horror game. Figuring out some of the challenging puzzles definitely inflated my ego quite a bit, but figuring out what it all meant might take some time and more than one play-through.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Noosphere isn't just another horror game; it's a spine-chilling journey that delves deep into the darkest recesses of the mind. From its atmospheric environments to its immersive storytelling, this game is a must-play for any fan of the horror genre. At its core, Noosphere is a psychological horror experience that masterfully blends suspense, mystery, and terror. Set in a hauntingly atmospheric world filled with eerie corridors, dimly lit rooms, and sinister secrets, the game immediately draws…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game tho! i felt something that i couldn't describe and i never felt that feelings, atmosphere, and mood before. i couldn't finish the game because my previous laptop are very laggy and hopefully with my new laptop it could be less laggy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/hSeXhW7fpYA Structured heavily around abstract mechanics and backtracking makes for a disjointed narrative progression.

Grubs are a great source of protein nutrients and tangy psychosis (GOOD) Very funny abstract scenery with a cartoonish horror and a sub-conscious sci-fi outset. I got b-movie enjoyment from the voices and sounds. main char sounds like a cross between commandant Christian Slater with a demonic maniacal bubbling of buffalo Bill. hes all like.. guy: I cant…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a solid horror with interesting mechanics and some incredible environment design. There's only one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moment I feel in terms of puzzles. I'm looking at you, grate-I'm-supposed-to-know-to-jump-on. But aside from that it's a solid 2-3 hours of puzzling in surreal environs being stalked by a evil snake lady. The story is a little bit all over the place, and loses the run of itself towards the end, but I was kept engaged by the gameplay if nothing else. It ventures into proper…
