Fans of One Piece will likely enjoy this game, but it has notable flaws. [1][2][3] The port has poor controller support and camera issues. [4][5][6] Combat is simple and fun, but the gameplay loop can be repetitive. [7][8][9]

Co-op removed. Controllers support is shoddy at best (need two 360 controllers plugged in and only the controller for player 2 responds). I have multi monitor and I understand that not all games will span the entire width of my setup, but when you use fullscreen in this game you cannot adjust the resolution, it only goes to the maximum resolution, then displays half a screen. This port is complete garbage, bought …

The gameplay is pretty poor, it feels like another Pirate Warriors game with just a bit of "open world", even for 2014 standards it's not really good. It's very rough to play, game makes you progress in a map, find some blocked wall, backtrack to where you came from, get a key(word), go back to the wall so you can open it. Fights are a no brainer, no sense of difficulty whatsoever. As you progress or backtrack, game …

"so–so" That is how I feel after 20 hours of playing this game. For fans of One Piece, this is the game. Pros + - Nice port (in comparison to other port games) + Controller function well - Colorful and smooth graphics and Gameplay - Lots of side quests (maybe from DLC), and they're better than the main quest. - Character attribute for changing clothes - More readily available material, particularly for Bugs - Boss …

Unlimited World Red is tedious & flawed yet remains one of the best One Piece titles on the market. Disclaimer: 100% completion & 93 Hours of Playtime via PS5 & Gamepad. The flow of combat for a majority of characters is smooth with the exception of characters like Nico Robin & Ussop who lack utility, invulnerability frames, damage output & viable abilities that don't involve the same attack loop. Moment to moment …

Honestly, Unlimited World Red feels like a hidden gem for One Piece fans. It’s not your typical Musou-style game—it’s more of an action RPG with some exploration, light platforming, and a chill vibe that makes it feel like a mini One Piece adventure. The original story isn’t canon, but it feels like a real arc. You and the Straw Hats arrive in a new town, and things quickly go sideways thanks to a mysterious raccoon …

neutral · AI labelView post →For your Bluesky feeds this morning: one of my favourite game disc 'channel' splash screens and fave Wii games. Made by Ganbarion who made little else but One Piece games, developed Pandora's Tower, and then went back to making One Piece games and dabbling in mobile titles. A curious anomaly.

neutral · AI labelView post →No one got it, but this was supposed to be in the style of the GBA game, Shonen Jump's One Piece (US only). Which is an interesting game, because it made a side scroller out of reuse assets from Grand Battle! Swan Colosseum (JPN only), a One Piece fighting game.

neutral · AI labelView post →I wanted to play this as a quick One Piece fix, didn't expect much and, man, you gotta believe me that I was going to give this a chance, but the game still managed to disappoint with its mind-numbing "action", irrelevant crafting (for which the game forces you to replay those lifeless, empty stages again and again), a dull afterthought of a city building minigame and the story about yet another f♥♥kface who can summon scenes and villains from the most popular arcs (no joke). The graphics…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was another One Piece game that (sort of) retells events from the series rather than having a 100% original storyline. It does have it's own characters and plot but it heavily relies on old characters and locations. If you want something completely new then you might want to avoid this. There is a lot of extra content in the game. 60+ 'quests' that range from insultingly simple collection quests to challenging boss fights. The battle coliseum where you fight against bosses or waves of…

neutral · AI labelView post →I am very much enjoying this game so far. I am a massive one piece fan so I think if you are not a fan of one piece then this game not be for you. I had issues getting my controller to work but after rebinding some of the keyboard keys this game works great with mouse and keyboard. I highly recommend this to any one piece fan, it runs great on my pc.

neutral · AI labelView post →If you enjoy unlimited cruise, then you'll be dissapointed. You can only bring 3 char per stage. Cooking and upgrade being done by townpeople. Not many moves in battle. Fishing and bug catching mostly random. Enemy boss not so variant. You can not enter Thousan sunny.

neutral · AI labelView post →The controller support for this game isn't very good. Multiple times throughout the game you'll be instructed to press "Button 31" or "Button 39"... Usually you can get through those parts without too much trouble. But there's an aspect of the game where you need to quickly press buttons on the screen in a quicktime event to catch creatures, which is pretty much impossible with the buttons labelled the way they are.

So it really feels one in a million that i'm chill to friends with basically every single regular in our group. We all take it seriously, but never forget why we show up. For the love of the game and One Piece as an IP.
neutral · AI labelView post →No reason a game that exists on console shouldn't have full controller support. Game was great until I had to catch something with a net and was shown a slew of numbers rather than actual buttons.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i enjoy one pieces. this one just a copy&paste ver from the 3ds. if you like one piece. stick to the pirate warrior 3.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[Review] When you hear One Piece, I bet you think “retro-themed restaurant simulator RPG,” right? No? Well, maybe you should!
positive · AI labelView post →As much I like the card game il admit I haven’t really enjoyed much of One Piece post time skip. It has its really cool stuff but when it started to veer into “chosen one” territory it felt like it lost a lot of what I enjoyed about it at the beginning. I tend to care more about the side characters
neutral · AI labelView post →cant transform into Gear 2, 3 and most importantly 4.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The person who made these achievements should be tried in court
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →★★★✯☆ The game was generally a lot of fun, there are a few little things that seemed a bit meh about the game but hey it’s a portable game that was ported over so yeah don’t go expecting a full AAA feeling title. If you like One Piece you should generally enjoy this game. So let me first mention the bad parts of the game, the general gameplay loop is quite stupid, go to an area, beat enemies (fun part), get to a locked point that requires you to backtrack and find the “word” to open the…
