It hurts to post this, especially at a time that studios are laying off tons of people or shutting down entirely, but the game wasn't ready for prime-time. I love the commentary, the art, the satire, the self-awareness. I pushed through the main campaign, hoping to get to a place where I felt confident of giving a positive review, but I never got there. There is a great game somewhere within Parcel Corps, but what is currently available is a disappointment. There is a lot of content but that content grows stale quickly because it’s repetitive. I do recommend the game itself, I do think it is too expensive and for its price there are some omissions that I don’t quite understand. Mainly there being no graphical settings to speak of which in 2024 and at a $35 tag that’s pretty nuts. It’s steamdeck playable but it varies from the 10fps range to 47fps range and it destroys the battery. I went down to 23% in 80 minutes. Compared to bombrush cyberfunk I could …

I don't know what people are complaining about. It's Crazy Taxi meets Jet Set Radio. -The biking is smooth and fun. -The voice acting is obviously satire and some of it's pretty funny. -The gameplay loop is dynamic. It might have a long intro but you can skip most of it. Id because of all the bad reviews and I found them to be mostly people with no patience.

Mad to say but I am in a computer game! The awesome people at Billy Goat Entertainment very graciously asked me to voice a negligent doctor (been method acting my whole life) in their extremely fun new game PARCEL CORPS. You can play it on XBox, PS5 and Steam now! (bluesky only allows tiny clips)

Usually you associate these types of "tricking/movement" games with counter culture and anti-establishment. This game is the complete opposite of that, this feels like the most sanitised and corporate game of this kind I've ever seen. You're essentially just some "hip, go-getter" working for whatever off brand Amazon company you choose, the movement is actually pretty decent, but the default control scheme is kinda bizarre and require some getting used to, the levels are generally designed with…

First off, there is enjoyment to be had in this game. And I could see people liking this game more than I did, but it just falls flat for me. I have 2.5 hours in this game at the current time and I have requested a refund as I’m not sure the level of fun I’m at is going to increase or just be drained the longer I play. Riding around on your bike and delivering packages is a lot of fun, but while it seems they have nailed the core concept every extra degree seems to break. The general gameplay…

Rushed release. Will update this after it feels like it's not in a sorry alpha state. Keep in mind, this is not an early access title. This is a full release that currently feels as if it's an alpha-build. Zero QA teams worked on this. And if they did, they either didn't do their job or were ignored. Either way, zero QA work was done. No quality was actually assured.

I really want to like this game. But there are so many little frustrations in this game that make me want to stop playing. The biggest offender is the failure state. I’m okay with failing in a traversal game like this. But when you fail you have to sit through the same unskippable cutscene over and over again. There is also no restart button if you have a bad start to the mission. You just have to sit through it again and again. Sure. You can skip some cutscenes. But I do not understand why…

I really did want to like it but had to refund for now. The price is, in my opinion, not appropriate for a game of this scope and made it somewhat hard to justify the purchase. I still bought it because I enjoyed the demo and liked the Crazy Taxi feel it had. However, being hit with performance issues right off the bat, despite having a higher end system and no graphics options whatsoever, a refund was the only sensible option. I'm keeping this one on my wishlist and may get it on a sale after…

I can't even enjoy the game. There are an unforgivable lack of in-game settings for a game that is asking $35. - I cannot change any display settings other than display resolution, VSync, and motion blur (at least they have those). - I cannot change which display the game runs on so I simply cannot play this game on my TV (which this game is made for). It's locked to what my computer considers my primary display with no ability to change it in-game (and I'm not changing how my computer is…

Game had a really poor launch but issues were eventually addressed. Performance is great, controls are great, game is fun and has a ton of content. At -80% the price is a steal and the "Mixed" rating is unfair. I have zero tolerance for half-baked games and this ain't the case. I suspect the negative reviews are sadly due to lack of skill and patience. And maybe keyboard players. I see a lot of comparisons with Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and in all honesty this game's quite similar. Both are really good games while being somewhat flawed. As someone who 100%'d Bomb Rush, I think it's safe for me to say that the game's extremely good but has its flaws, as does every other game. Different vehicles were essentially useless apart from the one or two puzzles you use them in, different playable characters were pointless apart from a cosmetic change, though I do like playing with…

Game is poorly optimised, the demo ran better than the release. And there are no graphic change options in the menu, only V-sync and resolutions, which doesn't even change anything, options don't save. Running at 15FPS the entire time, whereas had 40-60FPS on the demo with a few drops. Was hoping that no visual options in the demo was just for the sake of the demo, not expecting full release to be without these options. For a $45AUD game, expected more.

Early impressions, take this less like a full review and more like a guide to know if this game's for you. The gameplay loop goes like this: you explore a decently large area discovering businesses that give you parcels to deliver. You start by doing individual deliveries and eventually unlock a "rush" delivery where you have to pick up and deliver multiple packages in whatever order you want, I think this gameplay loop is great, you familiarize yourself with the map by doing relatively easy…

UPDATE: The first-week patch has fixed pretty much all of the issues I had with the game. What a blast. I really hope people give this a second chance, because there's very little with this level of flow out there in this genre - it's clear they put a HUGE amount of thought into making a game that occupied a space between Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi, and it builds on both in new and interesting ways. There are lots of glitches - no way to make the game full screen despite it starting in a window. Pure gypsy. They should add 3 hole balaclavas for your rider to wear. Green, white and orange ones.

It really hurts to leave a negative review for a game I had so much interest in....but the videos showing this game moving that fast are incredibly misleading since the performance issues I experienced never actually let me get it that fast, even turning down everything. Parcel Corps is a fun traversal focused game that strikes me as a mix of Jet Set Radio Future and Crazy Taxi. Between that, the playstyle, and the atmosphere this feels like a modern day Dreamcast title. The controls are smooth, but once in a while frustrating. Wow so sad to see this sitting at "Mixed" reviews. I'm having a really great time so far. Thoughts on my first hour with the game (Played on Steam Deck): Yes, it does start with a just little too much talking: introducing the setting, controls, mechanics, locations, modes, etc., but it was done with some style and a bit of humor. My PC is Ryzen 2200 Vega 8, it is not powerful, it can run risk of rain 2 and ghostrunner easily, but can't run this game on minimum. It stutters, 15fps and has lag input. Play in short bursts and I think most can enjoy the quick paced riding. It's fun to discover new short cuts, particularly in the later time trial feature you unlock on the way. I see reviews complaining about the controls, for example how doing a wheelie is convoluted--but if you give it a chance, I think it really works. Part of the problem might be that this game is pretty niche. It was obviously made by people who love cycling. The most problematic aspect of the game is in my opinion the progression (it barely has any), how fast the missions and enviornment gets repetitive, aswell as the pricing of the game. The first part of the map felt like playing a dumbed down or just simply…

It seems fun, the cutscenes/demos in the tutorial lag for some reason. The art style is interesting, I can see where they were trying to go with it but it does not hit. Animations feel fluid but there is a definitely some jank especially when dealing with npcs. Some of the humour is funny but it is a pretty mixed bag so far, like trying to be hip and cool. It feels like it wants to be making fun of "how do you do fellow kids humour" but just ends up being it. The UI design is pretty awful as it…

I wish we could leave neutral reviews. I am a huge fan of flow state games and i have to say that this game is one of my favorite games when it comes to gameplay. It is a ton of fun to ride around doing wallrides and grinding around looking for new paths to take as you play. The problem i am having is that there seems to be an issue with the multiplayer for me. I will sit in the multiplayer lobby for 10 plus minutes and never get anyone to join. When i do the quick search it just throws me into…

Very addictive. Finally a worthy successor to Courier Crisis to the PS1/Saturn. It had some serious bugs / performance issues on launch day, but I haven't had any noticeable issues since the recent patch. Vulkan mode seems to have a much better framerate. Some missions are annoying but the overall gameplay is pretty good.

Purchased the game but found that you can't customise your controller buttons. Keyboard customisation was very limited. I was unable to set the directions to the arrow keys and if you changed the phone assigned keys to another key you are unable to reset them to default as there is no reset key bind option. I'll come back to the game if they patch a more robust settings menu.

Competently executed and fun indie, decent value when on sale. People complaining about the controls clearly don't actually ride bikes. Shame the launch kinda flopped, this might actually qualify to be a 'hidden gem'.

It's actually a lot better than expected. It feels like Jet Set Radio + Crazy Taxi. It is a nice mix

The CONCEPT of the game is great. And honestly it CAN be a fun game. If it flopped, which sadly I kinda wish it did, it's because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls. It's disrespectful how bad they are, and even more disrespectful that they're still ass after getting feedback. So yeah, if it flopped, it eqs deserved. I'm upset because it's the only thing that's bad about it. And it's SO bad that it made me rage at it. Do not buy until something better is done.

Really nice homage to Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio. Pure arcade fun. Having a blast racing round the city wall jumping and delivering packages. Great performance after the patches, big thumbs up!

Cool art style. Music is BUMPIN. Controls feel responsive. Just wish I could backflip wit my package. Otherwise seems like it’s got a TON of content. I recommend.
