Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 90 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (159 of 181 positive).
Many players find it a great game for young children, praising its accessibility and co-op. [1][2][3] Some reviewers criticize the repetitive gameplay and poor value for money. [4][5][6] Several posters note technical issues like lack of cloud saves and camera problems. [7][8][9]

Bad value for money. Nice games for kids, but like most Paw Patrol Merch you pay a lot for a bit of plastic. (Good for them that they manage to pull this off) Its quite a simple repetitive game, the camera is really bad and too zoomed it. I also really don't like the in-game shop which pops up too much for a full price game for kids. But I enjoyed playing it with the little one, and I recommend getting it, ... if …

It is definitely made with small children in mind, but overall not a bad collectathon. I bought it for my daughter, but I limit her screen time because she is only 3. We are not tablet parents either, but because I play games, I want something for me and my daughter to bond over so I introduced her to Spyro. PAW Patrol is the second real game she is learning to play and it's exciting seeing her mind work.

Everything about this game feels well-designed for littler kids to play comfortably on their own -- a spectacular accomplishment! It has thoroughly engaged my family's almost 4 year old. The open world playstyle is interesting enough to me that I went ahead and bought a 2nd controller so we could play together. Split screen co-op works great, letting us collaborate or go in totally different directions. As the …

I am an adult and I bought this for myself as part of a bundle. I have NO regrets. This is a fun open world game, that is mindless fun with a cute story and theme - helping others. I would venture to put it in the cozy category. There are no time limits no lives to worry about. You can wander around, explore, talk to everyone, pick up new mini challenges and feel a sense of achievement with every townsperson you …

My 2 1/2 daughter loves it. You just explore the world and do missions and you can play with all the pups and drive their cars. And the missions are all go there and push a button a few times to make something happen, so anyone her age can play already and do everything the game offers. And there is co-op, so her mommy or I are always playing with her.
Summarised from 34 of the 127 public posts collected about this game; every point cites the posts behind it ([n] opens the post) and the split is counted from the posts’ own ratings. Updated Oct 13, 2026. How summaries are made
Players who liked PAW Patrol World talk about well-designed for young children to play independently; those who didn't talk about repetitive missions with little variety. Which matters more to you?

Can’t believe I had to choose between this and Peppa Pig for GotY. My inner child... I mean my kids were really happy to play this game!! Hooray! Pawsome action and Story. Them kids had their turn with Elden Ring, now its the Men's turn Excellent game for kids, probably the best game on Steam for kids to learn as it's pretty easy to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Our 5 yr old finished within 6-7 hours. Gameplay is smooth, graphics good, story is okay. Kid felt mouse rotation would be better and i felt single screen for co-op are more enjoyable than split screen.. like in sackboy. Full gameplay - All achievement / trophy, All request, pup tags and postcards https://youtu.be/v2THobKfY0E?feature=shared

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better PC Optimization than a lot of AAA games. Not joking. - Smooth as butter - Extremely high draw distance at max settings - Neat graphics, beautiful shaders. Not cheap at all - (ugly) Chromatic aberration that you can easily disable by putting "post processing" settings to medium. All of that into a real sandbox cute game with day/night cycle Thanks Humble Bundle for the discovery. PS : However the game doesn't use Steam Cloud feature, which is very very annoying.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skye can't fly. Please do an update, it should be really easy for any programmer. Since it's a kids game, this will do: 1. one button to go up (say right trigger, which is now unused), 2. the opposite to go down: say left trigger (idem dito). Forward/backwards/to the side is already present. 3. Make the rotors rotate faster when above ground, 4. Add a simple rotor sound, 5. If the world wasn't made properly yet: Test if there is a problem with hitboxes of buildings, if necessary fix those,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've had a decent time playing this game with my 4 year old. I like how there are lots of hints about what to do next (paw prints on the ground indicating the next mission objective, instructions on which button to press to do the required action, etc.). Is the game a little repetitive and boring for me? Sure, but I'm not the target audience, obviously :) He generally has a good time when he plays, and I think it's satisfying for him that he doesn't need my help too much. Overall, I would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PAWsome game from the franchise !! The best game ! this game is more unique and nice because it have more of open world areas ..4 chapters to enjoy and explore with your favourite pups .. As usual gameplay is easy just do different missions and collect treats to unlock new outfits and different rewards ..YOU or your kid will love this game and enjoy it ! because is super fun !!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun little game. Being able to just explore the area is fun. Skye's Helicopter doesn't fly, you have to drive it which is a bit of a shame though. Like many of 3DClouds games, it doesn't have Cloud Saving so the computer you play it on is the one you complete it on. Shame in a world where we have Steam Deck, as I now have to start a new save just to play on my deck. :(

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Uh, my son started playing when he was almost 4 and is not 5. He has 160 hours and still likes going back to explore, particuarly with me or his mom. If your kid likes paw patrol this is the best game for them
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't personally care for it, but my 4yo loves it. The split screen co-op is solid.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fix the camera movement, allow us to redefine keys, and add mouse control!! Kiddo couldn't play it as every other game literally has these basic foundations.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a perfect game for children under 6 years old. It features a medium-sized open world that is free to explore, with lots of fun items to find and collect. The game offers full language support and very easy-to-learn controls. Almost all of the PAW Patrol pups are playable, and you can drive around in their vehicles, which are also easy to control. The story is fun and follows the typical PAW Patrol style. You can customize all of the pups individually with cute, themed outfits. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game needs to be less than $5 (the price of each DLC skin pack; we see what you are doing). The game is literally what you see in the screenshots unfortunately. Go to location, press X, rinse-and-repeat in multiple locations. As per usual with branded titles, less effort than you would assume or hope for.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OG games, get it together with controller support jfc
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't rate things generally.. But this game was very kid friendly and my kid enjoyed it... So yea it is worth the money in my book. The game deserves more love.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paw Patrol: World So I'm obviously not the target demo on this one. I'm too old, too adhd (the button prompts resolve so slowly), and my ability to pretend stops when something makes no sense (WHY AM I SAVING A BIRD FROM A TREE. IT FLEW UP THERE). But it's a decent game for the age range
neutral · AI labelView post →I purchased this game to play with my five year old toddlers. There is a surprising amount of content for a kids game. I tried to speed run the first play through just to get the achievements out of the way and even rushing through each level 100% completion took over six hours. There is an obnoxious amount of handholding in this game. This is a blessing for young gamers who are new to controllers (aka this game's key demographic) but a curse for older players who don't need to be reminded…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My 5 years old wants to play it everyday and can play for herself without my help.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My friend decided to gift this game to me on my birthday. And did an adult man like me like it. The answer is simple. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... it has dogs so its the best game ever.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was exactly what I wanted: colorful environments, clear objectives, and simple controls. I never felt lost or overwhelmed because the game does a good job guiding you toward the next task. It's aimed at a younger audience, but that worked in its favor for me. The gameplay stays straightforward and relaxing while still giving you things to do and collect. If you want a low-stress game with charming visuals and easy progression, it's worth a look.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All game play time only on steam deck. Perfect game for small kids, my son with 4 y/o enjoyed too much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perfect for my 4 yo. Controls are easily accessible, and gets them into using the xbox pad. Colourful setting and good voice acting, they couldn't get enough of just running around, interacting with random objects and just collecting floaty biscuits all over the map. Kids? Into Paw Patrol? Buy this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but way to easy. got bored within 30 mins
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Supremo ! A really good part of the series. Finally a game piece that worked. Little kids are excited. Can't redefine keys, Auto-hot keys solve it. I recommend it.

neutral · AI labelView post →(Game finished on a PS5 first) This is the greatest Paw Patrol game so far, it is a tiny open world game, the graphics are good and the gameplay is pretty good too, and you can play as a few pups and customize their outfits, and you can add stickers to their vehicles, too bad that Skye can't fly with her helicopter. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☑ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☑ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →works fine in steam deck but tuned down to 30fps to not burn out the battery skye helicopter only drives around, bummer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Busy work simulator but my 4 year old loves it. Open world to explore. Unfortunately activities are uncontrollable scripted animations which is a missed opportunity.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've bought this game for my 6 years old son because he likes the Paw Patrol series/movies. The creators of this game made a big flaw and that is the knowledge of kids who just wanna play a game . Discovering, walking jumping around all that and...it's there but..lots and lots of bla bla bla talking which results in a bad gameplay. So for the people out there who have kids who just wanna play a game and no conversation-game I would -not- recommend it. Don't let the high ratings from steam…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Works great on the deck. Graphics are really well made and performance is good even in split screen on 1080p. All text has voice over even the main menu, so it's really easy for kids who can't read. The missions are a bit easy, but I think for the kids that's alright.
