Honest opinion, I was disappointed in both how short the game was and how little content there was. There are only four worlds that were basically empty of all life and the gameplay consisted on walking around and holding down a button. The entire game can be finished in two hours which makes it feel like "what was even the point of this". If you're going to go out of your way to make a game then at least add …

What a cute casual puzzle game about collecting stickers! Scan items in the world to make stickers and add them to your sticker book. One achievement might atm be missable. Approximate amount of time to 100%: Around 4 hours Estimated achievement difficulty: 1/10 Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 Is there a good guide available: Not really, but I made a guide with all the stickers (without locations)…

Pilo is a tough one to decide to recommend or not. I found it pleasant enough and would have finished it in one sitting if I hadn't been stuck. However, it seriously lacked challenge and gameplay variety. Scanning around with your beam of light for objects/creatures suitable for stickers was fun but was too convenient and so limited. You stand in one spot, rotate the beam around and often find stuff you hadn't noticed yet or didn't think was significant (like a piece of decor). Move to another…

After just 30 minutes of playing, the game bugged out so badly the game language changed to French, with the exception of "continue" and "quit", the menu options were all replaced by "New Game (in French)", all in game text disappeared and no cutscenes would play. Reseting or reinstalling the game didn't solve the issue. Seems like the only option is to delete your save file and start from the beginning. I can't in good conscience recommend a game that is that unstable. It happened within 30…

Pilo and the Holobook Cute French game with a unique gameplay, If you like the wholesome genre this is for you! There’s no combat, it’s mostly exploration, using your Holobook gives you the ability to scan and catalogue your discoveries on the planets. It also helps you get rid of Tar later on. It's a lovely game and I would love to have recommended it just for the lovely sticker collection. But after going to all worlds like 4 times to try and continue progress, which I cant because the game but bugged(doesn't even show quests on the side), I can't. If the devs can find and implement a fix I will change to recommend.

Cute little game, perfect to relax and sometimes solve some puzzles. Some are a bit hard but give you "aha!" reaction when you solve it, most are relatively easy, if you are paying attention to details Not sure i can recommend it for a full price (maybe if the game would be longer and would allow up to teleport back to the ship instead of walking there all the time) but on a discount it's totally worth to play for a few evenings.

This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games (minor spoilers ahead). Pilo and the Holobook is a short, casual exploration game where you play as a fox boy and explore a few different small alien planets, each with its own unique look and biome. As you explore, you’ll need to use your holobook to make stickers of objects and plants, complete other tasks, and solve a few puzzles. The characters are likable, and the story is also interesting, with a subtle…

Great, cute and addictive game! Its basically Toem but with stickers instead of photos. Thumbs up, super raccomanded. Pilo is a cute character, honestly i buyed this game primally because He reminds me of Kingsley and Lucky, dont know why lol The only thing that i find strange (but its not that big of a deal) is the fact that the game kinda ends in a weird, anticlimatic way and it has a "testing water" kind of feel to it. This cozy game is a completionist's DREAM, and so beautifully illustrated! The bits of voice acting give it a nice touch, but the star of the show is definitely the hand-painted imagery and the adorable stickers. The only thing I didn't love about it was the desert biome but that's just me being nitpicky about the boundaries and how they were enforced. All in all, a solid cozy game with gorgeous visuals, and a sad story that draws you in.

Bought it for my kid, looks cozy. He spend his whole 60 minutes on-screen-time wandering through the first location [he's 6, so I'm trying to introduce him to easy-to-play games. He loves sticking stickers everywhere and on everything, so he enjoyed doing it digitally as well. I can see the value for younger players, but just looking at him playing, made me realize there's more to this game than I thought before the purchase. A solid positive on this one.

A fun and cute little adventure story. Hunting for and collecting all the stickers is really the heart of the game and takes the lion's share of the playtime to accomplish. One or two of the puzzles were a little challenging if you aren't very observant, but everything else was fairly easy to solve without much head scratching. I got about a dollar an hour of entertainment out of it so I was very pleased with it and can easily recommend it.
