I would like to give Airhead a lower than average rating. It's neither amazing nor terrible. The game has a good art style and the colors are really nice but it was boring for me. The puzzles didn't hold my interest. The character is bland and uninteresting. He simply carries an air head and has no head of his own. I don't know why everyone is so happy with this game. I couldn't stand it for more than an hour. I …

Airhead was a game that suprised me in many ways but unfortunately most of all in how underrated this game is. At the time of writing this review the game has only 40 reviews, apparantly not enough to generate a % score based on my steam review settings (probably something to do with language). Regardless, this fact is such a bloody shame as airhead does everything right to deserve succes. From the expertly crafted …

One of the most unique and cerebral exploration/-vania style games I've played. A few technical issues - hanging on loads a few times, fell through the world once, etc. - but definitely worth soldiering through.

This is a sweet puzzle platformer with great atmosphere and cool visuals. I enjoyed my time with it. Some of the puzzles can be a bit hard to get in the right mindset for, but when it clicks, it feels really good. Definitely recommend it for people who are used to the genre, though. It's not easy all the time, and I wish some things were more visuals, like several vines I didn't realise I could climb. Other than …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a huge fan of puzzle platformers... this one is no different. I was gifted a key from the publishers to try out on Stream, and I'm loving it! It's harder than I was expecting it to be, I kinda thought I would just sail through it. But I've managed to get myself stuck for a good few minutes a good few times! Based on the trailer, it looks like after nearly 4 hours of playing, I've still got alot left to go! (No HLLB up yet!). Big thumbs up for me, I think its great! Even if it is insane,…

A 2.5D action metroidvania-genre platformer in a strange worldview. Control the head and the body combinational and sometimes separately, solve the puzzle obstacle, and proceed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →yo yo yo very much recommended, but here's a video review for all my thoughts! :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khBPqOeyooU disclaimer: I got the game for free from keymailer and the devs, that's it. this isn't sponsored content, all my opinions are entirely my own.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, this game has made me realize that my time with 2D puzzle platformers has definitely come to a complete end. I just find them way too boring nowadays. I'm also seeing that the puzzle design and the metroidvania design have simply not meshed well. I commend the devs for their bravery in making something truly original but the thing about risks is that something they won't pan out. Still, I think people interested in a puzzle platformer are going to enjoy this so I'll recommend it for them.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm on a verge with this one. There's so many things done bad in this game but a the same time there are great things too. I'll go with the positive because I would love to see another game from those people to see if they can improve and deliver a true masterpiece. To sum up my experience - I softlocked in the middle of the game because the solution to one puzzle was a blocker for another. I had so much fun with the puzzles it didn't deter me from starting a new game and finishing it but with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not for me because I don't enjoy the constant running out of air mechanic (timer). Seems well put together though.

neutral · AI labelView post →The game has a lot of great ideas and an interesting art style. Movement is pleasantly fast which is not common for this type of game. But unfortunately there is an annoying amount of jank. A lot of times I was stuck to an obstacle and couldn't move. Platform detection doesn't work properly. Cutscenes didn't play correctly, only when restarted from a checkpoint. And several other problem occured as well. If it wasn't for these bugs, this could be a really great game and an easy recommendation.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Huge shout-outs to @neidrakos.slugcat.me for allowing me to play with them. The game was buggy and my tongue was greener than a lime green Airhead, but it was fun regardless.
positive · AI labelView post →I found this game really fun, and challenging, I'm still working towards 100% it :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really nice puzzle game. The art work the soundtrack are amazing. Try this one!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →puzzles and the game mechanic in this game make it not that pleasant to spend your time specially toward the end. micro milimeter of jump in some cases make you believe the place you are sure you should get to is not reachable, you spend hours going into loops and by accident next time you are at the old place you get to jump and get up the place you surely was not able to a few minutes ago. hidden objects or too small or badly colored robes hidden in the environment, repetition without…

neutral · AI labelView post →Airhead Xichen hasn't noticed JC yet. WW tells JC he has no game and absolutely zero change with anyone. So JC romances the shit out of Xichen because he's the high quality top shelf brother. Turns out Xichen is a jealous and possessive man so he'll a put a ring on that finger asap.
