What players are saying

Players praise the game's chaotic, fast-paced arcade action and simple mechanics. [1][2][3] Some find it too short and repetitive, with little variety in content. [4][5][6] Several note it is easy to complete quickly, often for achievements or profile badges. [7][8][9]

This is a painfully average arcade shooter that relies entirely on a catchy title to grab your attention. While the retro vertical action works fine for a quick five-minute distraction, it lacks variety in weapons, enemies, and stages. You will see everything the game has to offer within twenty minutes, and then wonder why you bothered.

Planes, bullets and vodka. The title already tells you everything you need to know. Fast, chaotic and surprisingly addictive arcade fun with a great soundtrack.

I’ve put a good few hours into Planes, Bullets and Vodka, and I really like the chaotic energy it brings. The mix of fast-paced shooting and absurd humor makes every match feel unpredictable. Controls are tight, and the blend of different planes with wild power-ups keeps things fresh. Some maps could use more variety, but the core gameplay is fun and keeps me coming back. Definitely a unique, entertaining take on …

Chaotic, silly, and surprisingly fun. Planes, Bullets and Vodka doesn’t take itself seriously, and that’s exactly why it works. The game throws you into fast-paced aerial chaos with simple controls, explosions everywhere, and just enough ridiculous energy to keep you entertained. The mechanics are straightforward, but the action stays engaging. It’s the kind of game you launch “for a few minutes” and suddenly an …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast, chaotic and surprisingly addictive arcade action with a great soundtrack. The controls are simple, the visuals are basic but charming, and dodging bullets while destroying waves of enemies is genuinely fun. The random power-ups can sometimes make the difficulty feel a bit unfair, and the gameplay can become repetitive after a while. Still, for a cheap little arcade shooter and a quick time killer, it does the job really well. 👉 Simple, chaotic, fun. Definitely worth a try!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought Planes, Bullets and Vodka was going to be another cheap little arcade shooter where you fly around, shoot things, and eventually get bored. I was wrong. The graphics are simple. The gameplay is simple. The title pretty much tells you exactly what you're getting. Planes. Bullets. Vodka. And somehow, that's enough. There's something incredibly satisfying about flying around while everything on the screen is exploding. The action is fast, chaotic, and completely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really fun and thrilling simulation of a crazy pilot flying a tiny wooden plane through a crazy and celebratory world. You're the mentor guiding this brave guy through the sky. No more boring flight controllers or rules, just a world full of floating objects and crazy parties. The best part about this flying adventure is that the pilot is so enthusiastic and fast, it's like he's fueled by the most amazing lemonade you've ever tasted
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very cool gameeee,vodkaaaaa!!!!!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I grabbed Planes, Bullets and Vodka during the sale and played it for a few evenings after work. It's a simple top-down shooter where you fly a little plane and blast everything that moves while collecting vodka for power-ups. Sounds stupid? Yeah, but in a good way. The game is fast and chaotic. Shooting feels nice, the planes handle okay, and when you grab that vodka everything goes crazy with bullets flying everywhere. It's actually pretty funny at first, especially the silly sound effects…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this game feels very outdated 🕰️😕 The idea might have been interesting years ago, but today it just doesn’t hold up at all. The gameplay is repetitive and shallow 🔁😴. After a short time, you’ve basically seen everything the game has to offer. There’s no real progression that feels rewarding, and nothing that keeps you hooked for long. It quickly turns into a chore rather than something fun 🎮➡️💤. Visually, it looks old and rough 🎨❌. The graphics feel unfinished and lack…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This review is counted in the overall review score because this user purchased the game directly on Steam or got a free license of a free game Recommended 7.8 hrs on record Posted: 19 December, 2025 What you see is what you get. The core gameplay loop is simplistic yet addicting. My only real gripe is that this game starts throwing in narrow corridors where it's impossible to avoid enemy projectiles later on. Luckily, this doesn't happen too often. The enemy planes also drop shields or health…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →title is self explanatory
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun cheap little game about shooting planes down, definitely a fun little game to play. Took me just under an hour to 100%, hardest achievement in my opinion is the 3k planes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →planes bullets and vodka has a chaotic arcade feel and looks suited to short, intense sessions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →planes bullets and vodka is basically arcade action with no time to sit around and admire the scenery dodging bullets while trying to keep your plane alive looks like the sort of challenge that gets harder every time you think youve finally figured it out
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Haha... so... The game is minimalist, doing few things but in the end it feels good. The game needs some harder achievements, the ones there are very easy and I'm not really someone who plays to push myself much... 1 or 2 hard achievements could give the game more value... or maybe a final boss? I don't even know if there are bosses in this game or how many levels there are... it seems like a project that ended quickly when it was going to be simple but good. So finally I think the end-game is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rating: 8.2/10 Planes, Bullets and Vodka is a fast-paced arcade shooter that combines aircraft combat with chaotic action and a lighthearted presentation. Players take control of a plane and must fight through waves of enemies while avoiding incoming attacks and collecting useful power-ups. The game focuses heavily on quick reactions and constant movement, creating an energetic experience that is easy to understand and well suited for short gaming sessions. The game's strongest aspect is its…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PLANES, BULLETS AND VODKA — THE TITLE IS THE ENTIRE MISSION BRIEF Recommended — 7.5/10 Planes, Bullets and Vodka does not waste time pretending to be something larger than it is. You get a plane, several thousand bullets, an endless supply of enemies and enough vodka to make the pilot question every decision that brought him into this procedurally generated red nightmare. I have played for 5.6 hours, which is considerably longer than the game’s simple concept would suggest, and that is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →man, i really tried to like this game. gave it a fair shot, promise. but holy moly, it just got so boring so quick. like, everything just felt the same after a bit, no real challenge or new stuff to keep me hooked. the levels just kinda blurred into one big mess, and the actual playing part felt super basic. ended up just kinda clicking through it 'cause i had nothing better to do, not 'cause i was actually enjoying it, y'know? big meh from me.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Semi-hardcore arcade shooter with well-implemented simple mechanics. 9/10 (some areas are impossible to pass without taking damage)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to give this one a chance, but it got repetitive way too fast. The gameplay feels shallow, the levels start blending together, and after a short while I was playing more out of boredom than fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For 210 rubles - no Pros: +Pleasant graphics +No bugs found +Easiest platinum Cons: -5 minutes of gameplay -One music track for the entire game -Everything swims after the game (hello to those with motion sickness) -Price If you add purchasable planes, different backgrounds, daily quests, and ads to the game, it can be safely released on mobile phones, but it has no place on PC. The game is suitable ONLY for those who farm levels, as the cards in the game cost pennies, and for those who play…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad arcade machine (((, AND IT'S A HACK JOB!!! Earlier, RAZORTRON 2000 was released on Steam, a MONTH later Planes, Bullets and Vodka was released, seemingly from the same parts.... If you compare them, this game (Planes, Bullets and Vodka) is worse: Worse visuals. Worse gameplay. Worse music and effects. Even worse Steam achievements (how to get them). Wasted time, unfortunately.... 3 Vodkas out of 10.
