PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! I bought this game recently. This game does not work as when the game starts it tries to do some initial checks and connects to some outdated servers which don't work anymore and shows the error as "Game connection lost" and doesn't work anymore. Nobody has fixed this issue and still doesn't work!!!! This is quite frustrating!!!

After so many modern AAA games that drag on forever, this felt like a breath of fresh air. It’s short, fun, and straight to the point with no unnecessary filler. The platforming sections are especially great. Instead of constantly holding your hand, the developers clearly trusted that players actually have a brain. It’s a refreshing reminder that good level design beats bloated playtime. And mind you. Back in the …

I wish I could give this a mixed review, but I suppose I liked it more than not. First off: This needs the uplay launcher which sucks, and you cannot unlock the extra content anymore. And while speaking of the condition ubisoft has left their games in, this one lacks proper synchronization and there's heavy screen tearing, especially in the cutscenes. A couple of stutters make it through here and there too. One can …

I don't know why people are so negative about this game. The gameplay is really good, it holds up against the original trilogy perfectly well. The ending and the story in general sucks though. I didn't care about any of the characters at all. Note that the game has a very annoying bug at extremely high framerates where the prince refuses to go out of ragdoll mode after being hit by strong attacks. Capping it to …

A welcome throwback that recaptures what the series does best. Water clears the way, and sand brings old memories rushing back.

Every now and again I reflect on our Charlotte's Web GBA game we produced at Backbone. It was an action platform game that had Wilbur leaping around on platforms. We referred to it internally as "Pig of Persia," in honor of Prince of Persia, the game we absurdly based it on.

I really appreciated how player-friendly Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was, it respected your time and had a ton of options for customising difficulty. Also I’m glad Silksong doesn’t have any of that and is just a huge jerk of a game.

Ubisoft begin removing Ubisoft Connect from Steam with the new Ubisoft Connect Services. I'm glad it's highlighted on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in particular, because that was the first game I'd bought from Ubisoft in years, and the extra launcher deterred me from considering buying any of their other games for a long while still. EA still has launchers on older games like It Takes Two and A Way Out and Dragon Age II and Inquisition that create obstacles for LInux compatibility and…
