The game is great. An improvement of the original in most aspects. If your game crashes, you'll likely be locked out of it permanently, as people have been having this issue since June, with no fix in sight and with temporary fixes that may not even work. Don't buy it until something is done about it.

Absolutely insane remaster. At this point I would probably call it a whole ass remake. Great combat, great puzzle, engaging story, wonderful world to explore, and all around just a fun time, despite being a Megaten game.

I remember playing the original one on emulator. The gameplay in the original was really lacking, and the randomized fusion and combo skill inheritance didnt help as i sometime needed hours to obtain the perfect combination. I dont play the original raidou. the gampeplay itself is smooth. the writing is very good. music is amazing. graphics has a ps2 charm that i like. with that said, the game itself is worth it on sale. I wouldn't pay the full price, because the comparison i have to bring up is agains P5 SCRAMBLE. I would say if you dont like hack and slash then i wouldn't recommend this.
