What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 282 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (4,180 of 4,915 positive).
Some reviewers criticize technical issues like stuttering and bugs, as well as repetitive environments. [1][2][3] A few players feel it lacks the charm and open-world exploration of Rogue City. [4][5][6]

Sadly the devs listened too much of the few negative reviews of Rogue City (the previous title). Rogue CIty was a success with good reviews and little negatives, but you could see the same theme in every negative review. "What's this police work bs??! I didn't even know Robocop was a cop, why is he doing police work?!??" etc. Braindead reviews from people who don't know what robocop is and justs expected mindless …

I feel like there aren’t many FPS these days without multiplayer, open world, or complicated systems. That’s why Robocop feels like a breath of fresh air to me. It’s a simple, good old fashioned, linear shooter where you can switch off your brain and enjoy hours of straightforward, satisfying gunplay. As an expansion, Robocop Unfished Business keeps the same solid gameplay and simple mechanics as the base game but …

More of the same, but better... WAY better, especially when it comes to shooting parts. While action sequences in original Rogue City were already good fun, they never reached the full potential of RoboCop power fantasy. But Unfinished Business? Damn, I did not have this much fun in the first person shooter since first F.E.A.R. The amount of havok you wreak in this game is just insane. And when you start thinking it …

If you liked Rogue City this game is more of the same, enviorments can get a bit repetitive since most of the game happens inside a mega building, but luckily it has different themed floors. The game still has the jank from rogue city with the stiff facial expressions and movements from the npcs. This time around the game performs a tad worse, mostly due to the stuttering, i never noticed it on rogue city but here …

79% of the 282 Steam reviewers we collected recommend RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business. The complaint that keeps coming up: frequent stuttering and performance issues. Deal-breaker or nitpick?
Critics, per Wikipedia
RoboCop: Rogue City received "generally favorable" reviews from critics for the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions, while the PlayStation 5 version received "mixed or average" reviews, according to review aggregator website Metacritic. In Japan, four critics from Famitsu gave the game a total score of 32 out of 40, with each critic awarding the game an 8 out of 10. neutral · AI labelView post →A good and enjoyable shooter for these money. It's like DLC for [url=store.steampowered.com/app/1681430/RoboCop_Rogue_City/]RoboCop but as a separate game. This can be regarded as additional missions to the main game. I recommend this shooter - it left only positive emotions. This game reminded me of some locations and missions from Cyberpunk, which made me very happy and brought back feelings of nostalgia. This is significant +.

neutral · AI labelView post →Not good. Very forgettable experience. The game also has Unreal Engine 5 problems and suffers from stuttering. Even capping the FPS to 60 doesn't fix the issue, it just improves it slightly. The stuttering happens mostly when transitioning to a new area. The first game gave us some great nostalgia and a fun and quite chilled Robocop game. This game doesn't offer the same nostalgic feeling and love we had, as we already had that. The game is boring, the story is terrible, the voice acting is…

neutral · AI labelView post →This game is just like Rogue City but worse in every way. Environments are boring and repetitive, the story is bland, the characters are uninspired, and the game is an unstable, buggy mess. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed blowing things up as Robocop, but as far as value goes, where Rogue city was a solid 7/10, Unfinished Business is closer to a 4/10. It tries to spice things up by introducing a new takedown mechanic (really clunky) and two new weapons (which are arguably pretty cool), but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let's put it this way: if you've enjoyed the first game and want more this game is made for you. No doubt about it. However you won't find the same experience as Rogue City. Unifinished Business is less polished and more of a dungeon crawler that the very well rooted Rogue City. It's quite a step down to be honest. I have finished this game twice and I'm writing it about 6 months after release. With hindsight and while replaying it a third time the flaws are glaring: - Teyon seems to have…

However, the slow pacing and lengthy philosophical conversations in RoboCop: Rogue City kept me from finishing it for almost two years. Surprisingly, this one puts a much bigger emphasis on combat. The campaign is also more linear, and the overall pacing is much smoother. Personally, I think this was absolutely the right design choice. After…

The visuals are a huge downgrade. Most of the game takes place inside a grey OCP building, and everything looks the same and gets boring very quickly. Honestly, it’s a shame. At least the story matches the visuals, because it’s just as dull. The balance between quiet moments and action is completely off. There are too many…
