Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 191 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (2,057 of 4,155 positive).
Some reviewers find the shift to real-time combat and card mechanics disappointing. [1][2][3] Others criticize the lack of humor and short campaign length. [4][5][6]

Before I say my pros about this, let me clarify some things about this game. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE LIKE THE LAST TWO GAMES. This is a squad based game with a card builder mechanic. The single player campaign is very short and not as grandiose as SOT OR FBW. Playing single player can be a pain because computer players can be sucky. Last, sometime the game can be rather frustrating from time to time. If you accept …

This is a hack and slash game. i like it, it didn't have the same amount of humor the first 2 games had, which is kinda dissapionting, but it still like it. the controls and graphics are great. the story line is a bit blunt but its okay. it does have allot of content available for the amount of money you pay for it and it has allot of free DLC's ( the DLC's are just free clothes). the game does have a challenge to …

Hated it. I love South Park, I finished both Stick of Truth and Fractured but Whole with all achievements. Loved every second of achievement hunting. Snow day, on the other hand... Listen, visually, this is a gorgeous game. Stunning graphics. 3D Models are very cute. Controls are fine. Game play is enjoyable enough. I finished the game in 5 hours. I was stunned. I felt as if i had sucker punched, because what? That …

Absolutely awful, literally the worst game i have ever played. I LOVED Stick Of Truth and really enjoyed Fractured But Whole so this game was the largest disappointment I have ever had in my gaming life. It does not feel like South Park, it feels like a ripoff of a generic PvP RPG. Literal trash, 100's of hours on SOT and FBW, but I couldn't play this for even an hour. Worst game I have ever paid for. DO NOT BUY if …

Pretty disappointing. I am about 80% through the content at this point, and do plan on finishing. All in all its about 2-5 hours worth of gameplay depending on what kind of pace you like to keep. I am a pretty casual gamer who likes to sit down after work and play an easy game, so the shift in gameplay wasn't necessarily a turn off for me. Unlike Stick of Truth and Fractured this is a very hack-and-slash game that …

41% of the 191 Steam reviewers we collected recommend SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY!. The complaint that keeps coming up: very short campaign, around 2-5 hours. Deal-breaker or nitpick?
Critics, per Wikipedia
South Park: Snow Day! received "mixed or average" reviews from critics, according to review aggregator website Metacritic. In Japan, four critics from Famitsu gave the game a total score of 27 out of 40. IGN reviewer Travis Northup called the game "dull, toothless, and a big step in the wrong direction for South Park". He criticized the combat for being repetitive and believed that the humor and shock value were lacking. Kotaku writer Zack Zwiezen took issue with the 3D art style stating it "often, ironically, looks cheaper and cruder than the papercraft style of the beloved series." The Kotaku review also noted a lack of humor and dialogue, citing an over reliance on grunt and pain noises…

neutral · AI labelView post →What sexual conduct? Wasn't it just a pixelated naked person doing non-sexual things? Meanwhile the South Park game shows a couple having sex while a minor (your character) is present under them. A qte has you dodging the balls... 30€ on Steam.

On this occasion hate this game gets is deserved, barely made it through the first 2 missions, super boring gameplay wasn't expecting stick of truth/fractured but whole quality of game but this is a stinker. save your money

neutral · AI labelView post →As a side note: I'm not sure whether the fact that a South Park game has some of the most in-depth gender/sexuality options I've seen in a AAA game is really cool or really....REALLY sad.
neutral · AI labelView post →(Note: I only played this game for a few hours before refunding.) If there were a mixed rating option, I would give this game that. If you just want a follow-up to SoT or TFBW, this game is not for you. The story is almost nonexistent, and all of the turn-based RPG elements that made the previous games so loveable are abandoned in favor of the real-time combat present here. However, the game is not nearly as bad as some of the reviews would have you believe. You DO have to think at least a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Glad this game seems to be doing well. I may have to give it a shot some day. I still love the novelty that South Park willed this game into existence decades ago.
positive · AI labelView post →This game is VERY bad compared to Stick of Truth or TFBW, the gameplay is not even fun, it's very basic around every corner, I struggle to find any fun in this game at all, if it did not have the ''South Park'' in the title I would not have even considered it. The game being 3D is not even a problem, in fact I think it's what makes the game work a little bit but everything else is like 50 steps backwards because Stick of Truth is genuinely a masterpiece then they release this? mindblowing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There was a South Park game on Game Boy Color that went unreleased (it’s since leaked) because they ended up deciding that there wasn’t a market for M rated titles on the system so they reskinned it into a Mary Kate and Ashley game.
neutral · AI labelView post →By the South Park generation throwing those works on the fire and saying "believing in things is a sucker's game, I am smart because I believe in the middle (read: nothing)"
neutral · AI labelView post →I see why people ♥♥♥♥ on this game now, it really does just suck! I love South Park and loved one of the first two games but this is just slop. I thought the 3D open world would have been so cool but they just butchered it man idk what to say. As Kratos said, Be better

positive · AI labelView post →Such a poo poo game. I'm old enough that I watched South Park when it started back in 98 and I've played every game they've released....yes, even Chef Luv shack. This is the worst out of the bunch by a MILE. Not even basing it off the 2 most recent games this follows on from but this game is soooo cheaply put together from the story, graphics, combat system etc This has GOT to have been a cash grab or a Dark Souls 2 style handoff to different creators. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this was going to be good game but no it turned out to be just boring and not much to do. The formula that made the other two games is gone here from the South Park franchise so I have to not recommend this title unfortunately. I give this a thumbs down and instead get the other South Park games that are on Steam that more closely align with the show and also storyline.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The hate this game gets is unjustified. While there are definitely aspects of this game that could be improved the game as a whole is a very fun and unique twist from the previous south park games. This game is not like Fractured But Whole or Stick Of Truth so if you know that going into the game it will make it more fun. If you like south park and go into this game with an open mind you will enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gave it a shot, just isnt the same, hardly any humor, hardly any dialog, "go there and defeat the boss" the boss..oh well we are not going to try to hide it or make the player think. i tried to force myself to replay it but wasnt there. the need or want, was not there. i only have a YES OR NO choice..wish i could choose "meh" Ill vote yes to play it cuz..if you got 4 hours to kill eh, why not...i changed my mind, its a no..reply stick of truth or fractured butwhole, better then this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I lowkey hope GTA 6 sucks, mainly because it would mean Trey Parker and Matt Stone would have rework the entire season of South Park on how disappointed they were. (Seriously this is the 4th episode on them hyping this game up, it’s getting obnoxious)
neutral · AI labelView post →I’d been waiting for this game since the first trailer. I had high hopes, especially regarding the multiplayer and ongoing content support. But the disappointment ? It’s extreme. I bought everything available, only for it to end up being just a few DLC packs that add nothing but weapons—no actual new content, missions, maps or openworld. It’s outrageous how they just milked it for cash and completely abandoned the game's maintenance. It had such huge potential, but... oh well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There’s a South Park game where the difficulty setting makes your character darker (or lighter). Always thought that seemed rather apt.
neutral · AI labelView post →South Park: Snow Day! is a bold but divisive entry in the long-running line of South Park video games, developed by Question and published by THQ Nordic. Rather than continuing the turn-based RPG formula that defined earlier fan-favorite adaptations, this title pivots sharply into a real-time, 3D action experience with roguelike elements and an emphasis on cooperative play. Set during a massive snowstorm that shuts down the town, the game frames its chaos around the familiar South Park idea…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love South Park. Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole are some of my favorite games, but this is a HUGE disappointment
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While i LOVED SOT and TFBH i did NOT like this game, i am unsure if it is because of the combat or the 3D enviorment but something "aboot" it just didn't sit right with me. Humble apologies but i didn't enjoy this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if this game wouldnt have south park in the name, it would be free. it kinda wants to be l4d but in a bad way. I played through the game hoping it will get good, realistically you can finish the game in 4hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would've been fine with just playing the game on campaign but it keeps crashing on chapter 4.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →snow days not as bad as everyone thinks because they will base the game next to its predecessors which isnt quite fair since they wanted to move into a different direction with this one. its pretty casual and something anyone can just jump in & not have a hard time getting used to any layout. you choose cards to make you character different or the same each time its your choice. im sure they could have added much more but the game launched at 30 bucks U.S. . it wasnt made for hours of dialog…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game. Far from bad how people claim to be but it is not worth full price because it is to short.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead game -- avoid
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Going off only the trailers and some leaked footage, GTA 6's tone is very much Red Dead 2 rather than GTA 5 - I do wonder if Rockstar devs themselves got bored of doing less clever South Park pandering to edgy teens. RDR2 has some of the best writing & mature character development of any game imo.

Why these two games? No fncking idea. I've wanted games way more that I waited for way longer. Do you always know why you do things? I pre-ordered it, since I had a lot of fun playing the other south park games that were 2d, but this one really didn't make it to that level of enjoyment.
