What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 100 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (128 of 147 positive).
Players find it a fun twist on the Suika formula with roguelike elements. [1][2][3] Some say the physics can be chaotic and frustrating but also part of the charm. [4][5][6] A few reviewers note the game feels unfinished or has slow progression. [7][8][9]

Spent 4 hours in this with barely any progress, because for some moronic reason you can unlock only one thing per game, no matter if it's a single support item or an entire family of props. I have zero incentive to come back to the game to get the same content which requires specific strategies to work, making every run identical with the only variable being when will the physics suddenly go bonkers and throw out …

Very good way to make Suika-like game interesting. The different family of object to fuse seem weird as start, but it synergies and it's never to complicated. Plus : when too many thing unfold at the same time, it's more fun than frustating. Also, the way passive are handled is also very fun. 100% recommended!

If you enjoyed the original Suika game, this version is a must-try. It’s chaotic, unpredictable, and sometimes downright frustrating, but that’s all part of the charm. I really hope the developers get the recognition they deserve and continue expanding the concept, perhaps by introducing more family types or giving players greater control over their starting deck.

A very fun little experience. Worth the cost by far. The physics are very unpredictable, but that's also true of the original suika game. and if you hated that you definitely wont like this one, but runs don't take much time to get going so it's not really punishing or frustrating. I imagine a skilled player could complete a run in 5 minutes if they tried. The rougelite mechanics aren't bad either, though I wish we …

Gameplay: 8/10 Graphics & Sound: 8/10 ✔️ Very fun twist on a classical Suika gameplay, adding in roguelike elements. ✔️ Quite a bunch of fun items to discover with specific mechanics and weird interactions. ✔️ Fun colorful graphics with enticing music. 💭 The possibility to lose the passive-granting signs like any other object is super frustrating. I'm pretty sure it's intentional, but this alone made me ragequit a …

60 of 108 · most liked firstI'm unsure how this got on my wishlist, I wishlist tons of stuff. I think I saw physics roguelike and said yes please. This game is bizarre as hell, I don't even know how to feel about it yet. You drop items in a bucket that combine into other items and buy more items in a shop, and I think when your bucket overflows you lose. Looks like a lot of the game is remembering what combines into what, which will make it more intuitive as you keep playing. I really have to play it more to know how I…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The passives being a part of the board and being so easy to fling out of the boar ruining my whole build is what made me refund. Skill issue, I guess, but still incredibly frustrating.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you think any suika is good, you’re probably onto something. It’s essentially still a physics-based game, and it can lead to some fun chaos. However, I tend to believe the roguelite aspect of the game also strips down the simplicity of what makes the original "Suika" so good. But its derivatives can be fun too! I would rather give a cautious thumbs up than a soft thumbs down because it’s still suika. You really need to play a few games to get used to its physics. There are several arenas,…

If 3 of the same items touch, they combine into a bigger item. Don't let them overflow! Earn points to meet a growing goal, similar to Luck Be A Landlord. #roguelike #indiegame #gamedev

Exactly, play a game someone obviously made while being drunk, like Steve's Warehouse, and I #JustBeatIt. This weird shit gets an B+ from me. Grab this one on sale. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
positive · AI labelView post →It gets better as you play. At first additional systems seem kinda unnecessary and they do break the flow a lot (which is a real problem and it doesn't go away). But synergies do work and it attempts are short andfor the most part feel fair. It's not a masterpiece, but it's more than decent. PS: please, let us skip the scoring. There is nothing to see there. It's just wasting time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not an awful game by any stretch but I just didn't really enjoy it for very long at all. It just doesn't feel like all the parts come together as one whole properly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just like those fruit mobile games except: * NO ADS * there's more families than fruit * those families are combined in the same level * you have a set of rounds and goal to survive * unlocks * NO ADS It really is a lot of mind candy fun and some fun balances in the game that make a nice risk-reward temptation. There are also some really hard shapes to get going (tetris....)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is strangely addicting and I don't know why...it's just a well designed thoughtful game that even someone who plays mostly action can find decompressing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stuff I liked this year in no order: To a T, Q-Up, Dispatch, Superman movie, all the DC stuff leading up to DCKO, the Scorcese doco, the Peewee doco, Steve's Warehouse game, reading old JLA comics, The Chair Company, haha you clowns, every zine fair (no bummers this year), Fuser,

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but extremely basic.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's suika game as a roguelike, exactly what it says on the tin. There's a bunch of categories of items, each with their own focuses and mechanics. It's simple, sweet and fairly enjoyable. I don't think it has that much staying power, but it was so cheap that I'm likely gonna get my moneys worth of enjoyment out of it ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tough choice! I like the graphic designs of this game and the idea: A more complicated Suika type game! - But the balancing, and especially the penalties such as "Wheel Malus" ruin the game, make it too frustrating. The Suika format already includes a constant stream of difficulty I tried to Return this game, but they said I'd had it a little too long. So I will return to try again every once in a while.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who 100% the achievements (NOT CONTENT WISE) of this game in 7.2 hours, I was not sure if i wanted to like or dislike, and there's one reason; on the 20th of November, 2025 (Slightly below 4 months since release, which was the 22nd of July 2025) the game was announced that there won't be anymore updates besides bugfixes and balancing (theres been nothing new since then). pros: fun game, good concept, not ai, a fun way to pass time. cons: i dont think some of the challenges are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like to mix things up, so I'm replaying Wolfenstein New Colossus on death incarnate difficulty, and sprinkling in Steve's Warehouse, Balatro and Hades for shorter sessions. I'm waiting for a good sale to pick up Indiana Jones and will probably get Borderlands 4 sometime soon so hubs and I can play it together. I'm also considering a new playthrough of Cult of the Lamb now that the expansion has been announced.
neutral · AI labelView post →Perfected it without really knowing what's happening. Maybe the best game ever made.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a must-play for roguelite lovers. In addition to having a lot of synergies, it really makes you strategise and think outside the box. And besides that, it's atmospheric and satisfying. Right what i needed)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun waste of time :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →About as good as a Suikaroguelike as you could expect; great execution on the core concept with challenges and achievements to let you wring out every little bit of interaction from the object families possible.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun suica roguelite for a more than fair price tag!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →me in the ♥♥♥♥♥ to be fully honest

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That's a wrap on tonight's stream! 😄 Steve's Warehouse was quite chaotic as I learned more and more about its roguelite deckbuilding take on Suika Game, and I cleared through quite a lot of Donkey Kong Bananza tonight with the Freezer and Forest Layers. In all, a pretty productive evening!
neutral · AI labelView post →Steve's Warehouse: Physics. Roguelike. Chaos. takes the basic satisfaction of combining matching objects and expands it into an unpredictable mixture of physics puzzles, roguelike progression, and strategic experimentation. Developed by Definitely Named Steve and published by Abiding Bridge and Definitely Named Steve, it begins with an immediately understandable objective but quickly becomes far more complicated than simply dropping identical objects together. Playing as an alien warehouse…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I did not enjoy this Steven, I found your warehouse to be rather lacking and my fruit to be born with out physics.....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →suika game but it's a roguelike. it's better than flesh psychosis, and i like some of the items and gameplay, but this game is still empty. only recommended on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great, but please add ultra wide support!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →who is Steve, and where do I complain? I just watched 200 bikes and 3 saturns fall into lava, im pretty sure this breaks a couple health and safety guideline. AND WHERE ARE THESE BIKE WHEELS COMING FROM
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game takes the sweika game form and makes it into a rougelike masterpiece
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and fun! Progression is a bit odd and seems to stagnate a bit without any clear direction of how to move forward, but that might just be a me issue. Something I enjoy playing with when talking on the phone or otherwise waiting. Scratches a little itch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh, this is a fuuuun little game. It's everything enjoyable about those fruit merging games but made ten times more complex and addictive. More families of items to merge and clear, each with their own mechanics, various arenas, and a gameplay loop that keeps me coming back. I'm having an excellent time with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good art in a consistant style, great gameplay, great value (the price makes a lot of sense for potential play time, especially if you get it when its on offer like right now as im writing this review), would reccomend to anybody who enjoys roguelikes or has had fun playing some variation of suika and wishes to play the game more with more features or fewer ads
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →6/10 before the letters. 8/10 after the letters. When the letters appear fun starts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game, provides a unique experience from other suika style games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More Steve's Warehouse! We pump up the difficulty with a new map in this chaotic Suika Game roguelike. youtu.be/37UqxDvd03g
neutral · AI labelView post →Very good game, even my wife who is not a gamer got completely hooked on this game. Also the game has impressive depth and variety in strategy, but may not be apparent until u get to the harder levels where your choices and trade-offs start to have significant impact on your runs. Definitely recommend if you like strategy games and rogue-likes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Steve's Warehouse by @abidingbridge.bsky.social - Okay so you take Suika and you add deckbuilding elements and you get this game. I've been having a blast with this and the various object types that all lead into their own builds and strategies. store.steampowered.com/app/2902440/...
positive · AI labelView post →Steve's Warehouse is exactly what you would want and expect from a Suika Game turned into a roguelike and I AM OBSESSED! The game does several unique things with the different categories of items, the art style and music are awesome and overall just such a refreshing and unique game in the genre! https://youtu.be/zKhni3XLIaI
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! I am impressed. This form of game (drop stuff, combine) has always struck me as having interesting potential but I quickly bore of it. This one is different, it really feels interesting with wild deck building, crazy luck and good amount of control.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a pretty neat, pretty cool little roguelike ! Also... please please please, there needs to be a way to go endless at the end of a run !!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If I had a nickel for every time a Nimi stream has convinced me to get a game... I like Steve's Warehouse. Pretty fun roguelike/Suika hybrid
positive · AI labelView post →Fun game, i feel later stages force certain builds, passives are super light especially the round ones making it really hard to not lose them which is frustrating. The challenge 33 Triangles seems impossible as just dropping 1 or 2 things makes the fly out of the arena. Maybe make the gravity a bit more like with Saturn. Being forced to restart until i Get a decent deck is also frustrating. I hope the Dev continues improving this Game by adding new Decks and maybe make it so yo can choose your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game, found on yt from AliasGaming playing it. 10/10 would loose my marbles from dying repeatedly to the last arena again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get many sportsballs. Drop many sportsballs against walls, make tons of crap. Get Car Sign passive. Drop blue car on tons of crap = GG. TLDR, blue car go vroom vroom.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's the type of game you could imagine your mom playing often, like 'Peggle', for example. It's a simple shape-matching game with enough randomization to keep things different. It doesn't have complexity or depth, but it is good for a simple time-killer. If that's what you're interested in, then you might like this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A physics based merger/deckbuilder that can lead to some crazy combos.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Steve's Warehouse combine deck building, 2048 and some wacky combination. The physic engine is broken, sure, but let's be honest, this is all more charming.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tonight we're heading back into Steve's Warehouse! Checking out the full game which releases tomorrow! A chaotic blend of Suika style and Roguelike 👀 Let's see how far we can go! Thanks to the lovely @abidingbridge.bsky.social we also have a key to giveaway!

neutral · AI labelView post →Its an interesting concept but once you get far enough into a level I find that the objects actually start clipping into each other and creates this popcorn-y type of bouncing that never stops, it's extremely hard to keep all of your objects inside the play area without them clipping into each other and rubber banding slamming into another object that was originally alright.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly its not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So . . . I need to be able to move things that are on the bottom, be it explosion, portal, water physics, gravity manipulation.....something. If this is an option later for patient people, you've failed because I'm already frustrated nothing can be done now. Trash.
