Game is abandoned. If you are waiting for an update like the controller update, it aint happening. They fired everyone on the team and there's barely anyone working. I'd only buy this if it was $5. Factorio X Slime Rancher! It's a fun cozy little colony sim game where you automate resource gathering using morps to advance the story and tech tree. Devs are very active and helpful in the Discord, giving hints and responding to issues and questions very quickly. Definitely recommend, I can't wait for full release!

It's quite good - a sort of building-farming game with some automation here and there. You grab these little critters, put them in a sufficiently spacious and decorated enclosure, and give them materials that they like for them to produce other materials. Materials are then used for construction, research, or creating other materials. The game's pretty kind, you get resources back when deconstructing buildings and …

The game is finally out of early access. Here are my first impressions. The character customisation is cute and simple, and I love the fact that you can unlock new assets by playing the game. The cutscenes are smooth. The NPC’s all have a friendly charm, tutorial is easy to understand. And most importantly of all, THE MORPS ARE SO CUTE!!!

I personally not a fan of reviews that seem scripted, filled with buzzwords and just fluff. So lemme cut to the chase, if you can get the game on a 50% sale, it's definitely worth the time you'll get out of it. It's an Early Access game that is constantly getting updates but really lacks substance compared to a game like Slime Rancher that has been out since 2016. Sadly for myself as a person who loves automation games and games that offer a relaxing time, I currently have very few pros…

I enjoy this game. It is very cute, the concept is nice and the little monsters you collect are adorable. Definitely more for single player than multiplayer for a few reasons, but I will get to that. Having played with friends for a few hours I can say it has it's charm. However I have a few more gripes with it than I do praises. -Firstly the forced togetherness to progress the game makes it very annoying to talk to the NPCs when everyone wants to do their own thing and is at different…

The game has a lot of effort put into it, but to the people who plan on buying the game - please ignore the automation tag, relative to the other indie games, the automation here is functional but horrible. Calculating productions is tough, tools are lacking and weird (Pipes can pull through only one item at a time, splitters refuse to work if one of the inputs is full), scaling is nonexistent, automation is treated more like 1-solution puzzle. The rest of the game is... I mean, decorations…

cute idea but feels wildly unfinished. do not pay full price for this. lacks serious quality of life, feels extremely tedious. no reason to farm half of what you do, no reason to level up relationships with crew or morps (which is annoying and rng based on its own), no reason to use a lot of your research. we finished the main storyline and went oh what was the point lol it could be really fun and enjoyable in the future but it looks like from other comments its been abandoned which is a…

I was hoping this would be Slime Ranchers mixed with Satisfactory. It's more like Slime Rancher crossed with Animal Crossing New Horizons with sprinkles of automation. My solo experience to this point has me very much "whelmed." I would like to take a moment to point out that a 1.1 update was promised and planned for Q2 of 2025 but no news pertaining to said update has come out and it's early Q4 2025. The art direction is cute! I loved the player customization; though I found it odd how it…

Fantastic game! If you're a fan of Palworld, you'll find this game similarly engaging. Although it begins at a slower pace, it soon evolves into an intricate factory game. Unlike Palworld, it skips the routine aspects like base building, eating, and crafting, and instead plunges you directly into the excitement of collecting creatures, exploring their evolution, and creating spaces for them to harvest materials for you.

The game is cute and there is a lot of effort put into it, but there is VERY LITTLE tutorial explanation of the mechanics of the game, and you end up just completing micro quests for ages. We didn't make it past 1.5 hours because we were just running around doing these micro tasks not really knowing what were supposed to be working toward. Small tasks with no main goal is just annoying to play, give me freedom as a player to figure things out on my own.

If you're looking for a cozy game to enjoy with a loved one, this is a great pick! It's perfect if one of you enjoys automation-type challenges, like optimizing production lines or factories, but still want the cozy vibes of more relaxing games like harvest moon or Minecraft. You take care of adorable creatures called Morps, who help you produce materials as you progress, in exchange for a home they like. You learn…

Bought to play co-op. Every time the second player joins they cannot move and the game crashes. The first player can customise their character but the second player always gets a random build, even though they customised their own. Not recommended for multiplayer. When I customise my character it put me in long grass. Seems silly when you can't see half the character to pick boot colours, designs or see what you properly look like.

This game was billed as Slime Rancher meets Satisfactory. And I loved Satisfactory. This ain't it. The automation is so hard to understand, me and my friend spend more time trying to figure out how things are supposed to work than actually playing. The game is not at all polished. The controls are clunky, the UI is atrocious. And its a small enough game there's very few resources available and no updates anywhere in sight.

I'd call this a crafting sandbox creature collector with some rudimentary story. You have some quests that give you a little guidance but that's about it. The automation is very lackluster as you can't automate the watering of plants beside certain morps (collectible critters) because the "tech" of the sprinkler changes the theme of the habitat which makes it useless. Morps produce specific resources you need to collect and use for crafting and unlocking new items and recipes. That's a nice…

The game is abandoned. The dev team no longer exists and the game was left in an unfinished state. Graphics are poor with lots of clipping and odd stylistic choices that lead to eye strain, mechanics are unpolished, and characters are flat. I played with the hope the game would improve over time, but knowing this is the final product I can't say it's worth your money.

A very fun game. Started before the august update and just tried the new update out. The game is pretty easy and relaxing while also being child friendly. I always played in duo and had really few connection issues. There is about 20 hours of (fun) content if played in duo. Very fun game, similar style to Factorio but way way cuter. You explore a world of morphing creatures and safe guard them in pens from the elements (and corruption) when they feel safe they will also start producing items you can use on your way to automation as long as you feed them and tend to their needs. All this to fight against the corruption that's making the Morps scared.

Tl;dr - The game is way too underbaked, but you should expect that for first week into early access apparently by now. It doesn't seem to be a bad game, but I can not recommend buying it from a standpoint of wanting content, you will be paying for the future potential. "Cute" creatures, don't make compelling gameplay. It is what you can do later which adds attachment. I was on the fence as to whether I wanted to negatively review this or leave it be for now, at least until I got stuck. I reached a point where I needed a certain type of seed to advance, and that seed can only be found in small, rare, randomly-respawning resource nodes. There's a scanner upgrade to locate these resource nodes... that is only unlocked by first finding enough of them to get enough seeds to unlock a prerequisite technology. I ran around for half an hour searching for the resource…

This game surprised me with how much fun it is! It has a similar creature collection aspect to slime rancher in that the base monster morphs into other things based on what you feed it and can be evolved, and also has specific care requirements. This on it's own is fun if you like catching them all but the town building and automation aspects on top of it, as well as life sim style villager rep gains, really makes a well rounded game with an addictive gameplay loop. UI and controls were unfriendly and the tutorial needs work. The resources were all to far from my starting area - but that might have been bad luck on the world spawn. The morps/creatures were cute and the game had some charm but it needs a lot more work before I can recommend anyone.

I played the demo with my pals and I like the full version a lot more just a few things annoy me. Grass is the main one. I hate grass in this game. No bugs so far, it's a very radical game. (I was going to go on a rant but decided to not be up super late writing that.)

Doesnt give a very good first impression, customization isnt that great, the lack of gender wouldnt bother me if it was first person. The morphs look very.. Static, they dont have any vibrancy to them and the UX isnt very user friendly. Which is a shame. I'm sure this game will eventually become good, however currently it feels under baked. Good luck on your journey, this game isnt for me however.

Time to Morp is a base / automation builder game that instead of having machines for resource collecting, uses cute little buddies called Morps! They're adorable creatures, that you can morph into whatever your needs require, while staying heart-melting with their expressions and acting! Due to them morphing from one type to another, it quickly turns into trying to figure out what you can use and combine to make different kinds of Morps, for different kinds of resources! They're not harmful at…

it really pains me to write this, but do not buy this game even when its on sale... i loved it at first, fun, cute, lots to explore, and the decorating your island thing reminded me so much of animal crossing... however, the devs did not disclose on steam that they abandoned this game and you instead have to find out for yourself on the internet. and i had the unfortunate situation where i paid full price for this game to support the devs without knowing that, and found that out later... so…

Bought this game full price because I loved the demo so much and it had been on my wishlist forever.... only to find that this game has been completely abandoned for a hot second (over a year at this point). Not worth $20 in any world in its current state, but if you see it on sale for max $10 and you liked the demo I'd say get it. I really wish I could recommend this game, but I really really can't
