Do NOT buy this game, or for that matter, ANY of the TSW games. Everything is behind a paywall. It's all expensive DLCs, there's basically nothing in the base game. And even if you do buy a DLC and think all is good now, you're in the wrong. The game is super glitchy and full of bugs, and instead of fixing it, they just release a new game like every half year that is really just the old one with a slightly new UI. …

It has the real physics, controls, and a bunch of other realistic stuff. i recommend this game for people who love trains a lot. i loved trains since i was born - my current age.

Honestly I know that this is the 4th release of the tsw franchise and it is still written in unreal engine tsw2 prototype. But at least you can run the game you have payed for. This game at least adds a new feature compared to tsw3 or 2 which is the free roam mode. This have been requested for so long so it is good to see that it is finally added to the game. I bought special edition on last year's summer sale for …

The physics and graphics are phenomenal. The only thing i can constructively criticize about the graphics is the headlight spread at night and in tunnels. Its not right and really makes the night driving boring not being able to see anything in front of the train while going down the tracks. The light spread directly off to the sides is ok but its like there's something blocking the beam directly in front of the …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the love of God, put a simple driving mode in this game. Spending a half an hour trying to make a train move with no instructions or having to search the internet is ridiculous.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →kinda game you'd buy, play for a few 10s of hours, and never touch again until dovetail trys to convince you to spend another 50 NZD
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just another Dovetail money grabbing un-optimised game. Save your money and dont buy any more of this ♥♥♥♥. Obviously there are DTG fan boys that will buy anything DTG sell and will disagree with what i say. My opinion on the last 2 DTG train sims i have bought. No changes to trains. Bugs still there. No graphics improvements. But yet you all keep buying there crap lol. DTG not only messed up on train sim but also there fishing simulators. Instead of fixing things they just make another…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a bad game if you like trains. It's a Horrible game for how shamelessly they want you to spend money. 40 Bucks for the Game and an additional 10-40 Bucks for Different trains and routes. Want to drive an ICE? Too bad go buy a 35 EUR route and that's also the only thing you get for such an amount of money. Want actual content in your game or even the full experience of having multiple routes and a bunch of trains? Get ready to shell out 2,300 EUR. If you like only being able to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have a nack for trains or you're autistic, this game's perfect
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TSW5 has already released and TSW4 still has unaddressed issues. Money greedy company!!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i spent a half hour googling how to reset the pcs lockout. the game needs better tutorials.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if your a smartass, games worth it, if you're autistic and simply just here for the trains, i do not reccomend this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely expensive DLCs and highly unoptimized gameplay with uncountable amount of bugs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it was fun driving black silhouettes from point A to point B, very realistic, got to do nothing for 10 minutes then miss my station, do nothing for 10 minutes, and repeat
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has a lot of frame drops, even with a Radeon RX 6950XT, 32GB DDR5 and a Ryzen 5 7600. Not even on max settings. Only really worth it if on sale for 10 euros. Also, don't get the East Coast Mainline if you choose to only buy one route.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[Game Bundle] Train Sim World 4: Top Up Your Timetable. Due to the ammount of content, only the main game is linked to the steam page. Notes: - **Tiers do not contain individual keys for the addons, you get one key per tier which includes all content of that tier.** - DLC from previous TSW releases (TSW 2&3) will carry over to TSW4 (it is essentially the same game) - Simultaneously, most - if not all - DLC included in this bundle will carry over to the previous titles, too. Tier 1 $5:…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Sim World® 4 is the latest installment in Dovetail Games’ long-running series of train simulation titles, and it represents a significant evolution in both gameplay mechanics and overall scope. Released in 2023, this entry builds on the solid foundation laid by its predecessors while introducing new systems, enhanced visuals, and a broader range of customization that caters to both hardcore rail enthusiasts and newcomers alike. It’s a game that doesn’t shy away from its niche roots, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So where do I even begin with this long list... AHHA! So let's start with the price of the base game 55.50 (for the Swiss once) ok that's actually not that reasonable for three routes and the base game. Now let's get to the outrageous part. Best example For the add on Br 101 + Ic control car you pay as much as the fu**ing base game! and it's just that Not even a Single route! ok ok let's look further. For the DB G6 Diesel Shunter you pay the normal price (watch out, that's the CH price again)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just shoddy work running all the way through. The developer is relying on the users enthusiasm for rail in addition to the lack of competing product.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →takes up too much storage
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even after spending 5000 you get like 2 trains and 1 route
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too expensive, wouldn’t recommend. Good game, tho.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted germany, they gave me austria
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The devs are lazy bums who refuse to properly port older dlcs or at least fix the bugs in them. dont buy the sand patch dlc, its broken asf, and if you get the lirr dlc then make sure you get the newer one made for this game cause for some reason they have the older one from like tsw 2 on here which has the exact same stuff as the tsw 4 one does except the tsw 4 one has more content, also dont buy dlc unless its onsale cause the devs are a bunch of greedy ♥♥♥♥♥ and somehow get away at charging…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was so excited to play, and don't get me wrong this game runs graphics really well. However if you want any form of variety in trains you have to pay MORE MONEY!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love the sandbox route that you can just spawn whatever locomotive or freight cars you want and i love the realism of the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dovetail needs to get off of their ass and finally just make one train sim world and actually add multiplayer... not rocket science. Also, its time to update to a new engine or shocker... maybe you could make youre own but no, you dont have talent in that studio, dovetail. Also the sounds are aweful whats up with that?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game, I’m still learning how to drive the locomotives but I’ve got a good grip on things for the most part so far. I wanna work for the railroad in the future so this is a very helpful simulator to give you a little bit of experience haha. I wish this game had multiplayer. You could hop in as an engineer and sit beside some one as the conductor, talk to other players over a radio. It would be awesome! I really like this game though, the DLC is a bit pricey but it’s okay. If…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Simulator 4 is a must-play for anyone who loves trains or detailed simulations. The game offers an impressive variety of locomotives and routes from around the world, each rendered with incredible attention to detail. The developers have clearly put a lot of effort into making every aspect of the experience as authentic as possible, from the sound of the engines to the intricacies of train operation. The graphics have seen a significant upgrade compared to previous versions, with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, need I say more?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really relaxing and fun in a way the only issue i have is the game sort of gets repetitive after some time if you don't buy any new DLCs or content
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good genre but runs worse than it looks (as for the price not recommended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good time killer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best train game for future conductors and railway signals
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Getting to grips with TSW4 and 5 a little bit at time. Still trying to get used to the various differences from Train Sim Classic. Like the intensity of this, very enjoyable. If you are looking for a more hands on approach in the cab, a definite recommendation .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Same as all their other games. If you already have one, save your money. There's not really any improvements to any of the game play. It's still just as janky as the others.
