A game that looks cool in video and screenshot but suprise !! you are forced to play with controller ..no keyboard or mouse ..just controller ..well Steam is for pc you should have option to choose if your game is best played with controller well let players decide don't force them ..if you want force them go to PS store !

An insanely fun rhythm-shooter with good visuals and a great electronic soundtrack that really pulls you in. Flying through neon worlds while following the beat feels amazing, and taking down enemies in sync with the music never gets old. The controls are smooth (controller recommended), and the whole experience has a really cool vibe. Perfect if you’re into music-driven games.

Aaero feels like someone fused a rhythm game with a rail shooter and somehow made it work way better than expected. Chasing light trails while blasting enemies to a killer EDM soundtrack is insanely satisfying once you get into the flow. It’s short, but every stage feels stylish and well-crafted. Definitely one of those “headphones on, brain off” games that deserves more attention.

If Rez and Wipeout had a neon-drenched lovechild, it would be Aaero – ★★★★☆ Bullseyes: ✅ Unique concept and execution. Aaero combines rhythm game mechanics with a rail shooter that feels fresh and intuitive. Tracing the ribbon while following the music and targeting enemies constantly kept me locked in to the thrilling gameplay almost all the time. ✅ Stellar soundtrack. Whether a rhythm game is going to be a rocking good time or a total cacophony is largely determined by the tunes it has at its disposal. Aaero has 15 songs on its soundtrack, and there's a real focus on the Drum and Bass, Dubstep, and EDM genres of music. Some of the bands that you'll be listening to include Noisa, Flux Pavilion, Habstakt, and Neosignal. There are some good songs in here, and I found myself tapping …

Critics, per Wikipedia
According to the video game review aggregator website Metacritic, Aaero received "generally favourable" reviews and a score of 77 on PlayStation 4, 80 on Xbox One and 83 on the Nintendo Switch. Kotaku's Mike Fahey said "Aaero came to my attention yesterday evening, after our managing editor, Riley MacLeod, sent me the following message: "Yo I'm playing this new rhythm game Aaero and you should check it out!" So I checked it out, fell in love, and figured I would pass the word along." Forbes contributor Mitch Wallace gave Aaero a score of 9.5/10 and commented "For the most part, the wait between quality, innovative, and original music games is rather unbearable. But once in a blue moon,…

positive · AI labelView post →It's my mission in 2025 to play through as many of my random Steam games as I can and I've had this game in my library for I don't even know how long. Today was the day for Aaero, and it exceeded my expectations. The Sand Worm level blew me away, such a cool rhythm game, looking forward to playing the rest of the levels.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →thanks to FANATICAL i got this for free, and i am ashamed i had no idea this game even existed, i love rhythm games so much and this goes with the best of them, considering this is bound by a controller and not VR or Motion controll. Anw, one thing needs to be said, most rhythm games, u need to choose a couple of bangers , this one has almost all bangers , but of course, the fanboy in me saw that KATY B. has a song, so i went nuts, also ''I CAN'T STOP'' ranks highly, but around 90% of the…

Gameplay divided into segments, they change depending on the track. Grind through rails or fly freely while dodging obstacles and shooting down drones. Lock on and release rockets to obliterate foes. When grinding restore your ship's health or lose it by missing. Plenty of tracks to choose from. Game goes from super easy to super hard so expect some difficulties. Complete levels to unlock…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love rhythm games but this one misses the mark - the combat mechanics ruin all the fun. I tried the demo for the second version and I still don't like it. Try the demo first before buying to see if you're into the combat mechanics - OST is top notch though.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every stage in Aaero is broken into two segments. One of these segments takes some clear inspiration from music shooter Rez. In it you'll be flying around in your spaceship, using an on-screen cursor to lock onto and shoot lasers at enemies. Once you've locked onto what you want, or if you've hit the max of eight targets, you can press a button and fire a laser. Of course, it does get a little deeper than that with a twist of its own. In Aaero, how fast your laser fires is dependent on how…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the gameplay, like the graphics and enjoy the soundtrack very much. I REALLY want to like this game, but it's just way too difficult.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's common for games to take inspiration from others that make it great in the genre. At some point, I believe Rez and Gitaroo Man got together to have a wedding, even though I wasn't actually there to see it. Now we have Aaero, the child of the two. It borrows shooting elements from Rez while tying it together with the need to stick to a rhythm line as close as possible, similar to Gitaroo Man. All this while trying to make an identity of its own with a low-poly aesthetic.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Aaero is a very simple arcadelike Nintendo Switch game that got dumped on Steam as a cash grab (don't believe me, look at the price!). It's just an autotunnelrunner/QTE/rhythm game hybrid, and not a good one. The graphics here are some of the worst, laziest attempt at video game "art" I've ever seen. It's hard to suggest this game even has graphics. It's mostly fuzzy/untextured, basic low poly blocks and blobs, with neon colouring slapped on to try disguise the laziness. It's clear the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Add PS5 controller support and I’ll reconsider this review. Yes, I know there are third party apps that make a PS5 controller be seen as an xbox controller, but I don't want to do all that for a indie game...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is hands down the best rythm game I've played (only because I can't play Beat Saber). It's unique, very well designed for controllers, has amazing music and somehow made it all look epic in the way. The game even features boss battles...it's a damn rythm game that has you figting with giant creatures, how cool is that?! But yeah I would recommend it to anyone with a controller, not just for rythm game lovers. (Warning, game is pretty hard and levels are locked by stars, which you earn…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun Rhythm game for beginners Even though I am terrible at rhythm games, I am still enjoying Aaero (base game)! The 15 base levels gradually get harder across the game's 3 difficulty modes. Each difficulty tier is locked behind the completion of previous tier. While that sounds repetitive, the levels get significantly more challenging by introducing more enemies + less forgiving rhythm multiplier, which keeps the levels fresh and fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard time playing this. Kept getting killed due to stupid controls, mechanics not working like the laser, locking on, too strict reaction times, etc. Maybe I'm more photosensitive than I thought, but a lot of the game just blurs into the environment and I miss a lot of game cues. I really want to enjoy this game, but just can't.

neutral · AI labelView post →The best part of this game is that it has a name my Husky can pronounce. The worst part is that they'd rather sequelize than just turn new track compilations into DLC. I never argue ON BEHALF of DLC, but if you're going to be the Wipeout XL of rhythm games, in the vein of Guitar Hero, it makes sense. What doesn't make sense is launching an entirely different but exactly the same game to play more of exactly these kinds of tracks this game was already for. That was a weird choice.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is probably very cool and enjoyable but unfortunately it requires a controller - you can't play with a mouse and keyboard.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →no dont buy that if you only want to do normal (1 or 2 hours) the game is fine but when you get furter its get AFFUL. this is why only 4% get the first level and stop there... look a the achievement dont look at the comment like me, every level have a achievement. Every attack are impossible to avoid, you have to shoot a them but you simply cannot shoot fast ennough to kill everything... also there is no respawn protection so you just get spawn kill after you first death why having 3 life?…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will suffer a lot trying to 100% this. Highly recommend having a good controller, precision is important. Controller drift and bad stick feel/range for extra challenge 🙃 Pretty cool game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun little game that is easy to get into, even for someone like me who doesn't play rythm games. The gameplay and the music sucks you right in, though you def have to like techno/dubstep to enjoy the songs. I like the implicit storytelling with the aestetics and the bossfights, just enough to build a stage for the levels. Only criticism would be that sometimes you get stuck in a dmg loop when you get hit at an unfortunate time with the smaller enemy waves which can end the level quite…

neutral · AI labelView post →I've had this game for awhile now. Fun to pick up every once in awhile. Great music in the game and when you get going in rhythm it can be very satisfying. Simple but also challenging, I would definitely recommend just based on the music alone, if thats your thing.

positive · AI labelView post →Rating:6/10 Completion difficulty:4/10 Controller only This is a cute game based on the music. The exteriors are fun, though some targets are frustrating to find and some of the later levels get relatively difficult. Overall pretty good especially if you're fond of electronic music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love to play it in hardest mode and completing the levels! Loved the game since day one and eager for the 2 that is coming soon :3 will definitely buy it. #Everyone that see me play it find it intense and goes wooooow because of the lines and obstacles and enemies/ammos coming at you so I say that everyone is impressed by it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but sweet. Go for 100%!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played a lot of rhythm games and I'm quite good at them. I love the concept of this game, and I love the music. I beat the entire normal difficulty and started working on advanced. That said, there are some basic design issues with this game that are super frustrating. The game frequently sends homing projectiles at you that sit on the edge of the screen outside of lock-on range, even if you are pointing your stick as far towards them as you can, and you are not at maximum lock targets.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this is the most outstanding audio game I have ever played in terms of visual effects, without a doubt. However, some of the later tracks pose a higher level of difficulty. While completing them may not be challenging, achieving a five-star rating is no easy feat, especially for players who are new to using a controller. The only regret is that there will be no further updates, isn't it?

positive · AI labelView post →Very fun rhythm game designed around twin-stick controller inputs. Also very short at ~90 minutes total playtime on Normal with DLC. The game does reward you for mastering the mechanics however, there are secrets to find and the track list is quite good so if you enjoy optimizing your play you should enjoy this for a while. I will say the DLC levels are quite nice and add new assets however I do not like the tracks for one of the DLCs. I suggest you look up the tracks beforehand to see if you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Aaero is a rhythm, music game using interesting controller inputs, where left stick controls your ship while the right stick controls your aim. Difficulty wise, the Master difficulty is REALLY tough. Miss too many notes and you fail. If you get hit once, you will fail. Visually this is an appealing game. Lyrically it's more Dubstep. Beat-wise, it's FIRE! IT'S LIT FAM! I really had fun playing this game, the only downside I had, is that you need to buy some of the DLC's (2) to complete this…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I guess not enough people gave enough of a damn to review this game, there is no other way I can explain the "very positive" reviews to myself. Since not even 50% of players finished the first level, not even 40% managed to finish the second and about 30% finished the third, there is reason to believe that the majority of reviews are pretty misleading. I didn't like the music, which is fine since that is subjective but my controller (PS4) either wasn't properly supported or didn't work right…
