What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 186 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (241 of 405 positive).
Players praise the game's fun combat and potential, despite early access bugs. [1][2][3] Some reviewers criticize poor performance and lack of updates, calling the game abandoned. [4][5][6] The game is seen as a promising mix of action RPG and monster hunting, especially in co-op. [7][8][9]

Update: March 1st 2023 I came back to play this game again after seeing some notices that the game had been updated. CM Renee said "Thanks for playing and leaving a review! We just release a major optimization update on January 24, 2023 that addresses most of the community feedback and previous issues." So lets go back and touch on my original points. Is it now fun? It's more fun than it was, but I'm not completely …

The game has a lot of potential, but it can only be considered early-early-access as it is now. The concepts are very original, and the lore had me hooked. But some mediocre mechanics plus the horrid optimization makes it hard to enjoy playing. The developers seem to really care about the game and are likely doing their best to fix everything, but as of now it is not playable at all. I'd recommend returning about 2 …

This game is, as advertised, clearly in its Early Access. The ragdoll physics have been the source of both frustration and hilarity. I've fallen through the map a couple of times. Stuff spawns weird. Animations are a bit stiff. There are features that have yet to be added (see: assignable hotkeys for consumables and mid-air recovery). Despite all of this, I've been absolutely LOVING this game. I haven't poured this …

Getting to the point, this game is epic. I didn't buy it initially due to the high number of negative reviews. I read all of them at the time, including the positive. Then on a whim, i just bought the game...... and i'm so glad I did. Honestly, 90% of the negative reviews i read, i have no idea what they were talking about. A lot of them logged more or less than an hour of game time. i'm not even sure they played …

NOTE: Solo player perspective It's early access so it's hard to tell how it will be in the end, but right now it looks like it has potential for something really nice. The most encouraging thing for me is that the gameplay is FUN. Not "revolutionary", , „complex", "tactical", but just fun. Simple, fast, with enough challenge to be interesting, but not frustrating. For me this is the most important thing in early …

Videos are completely misleading and contain footage and cut-scenes that simply do not exist in this shell of an offering. Criminally mislabeled as "early access", development for this game ended long ago. Now it remains as a cautious reminder of what "early access" means to some devs/publishers: literally just an empty proof of concept to net…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly this game is not ready yet due to very bad performance. There are not enough optimization and options to make it playable on a system that can handle Big Banger Games like RDR2 or demanding Simulations. And it doesnt even look good ... the performance here is not justifýable! Will revamp my review after it became playable.

neutral · AI labelView post →For the cheap entry price, I definitely recommend it as a great co-op game with friends. If you're okay playing with strangers (no communication needed) the random matchmaking has worked well for me. While it's possible to solo, I don't find the game nearly as fun when alone. For this early in development, the game is already fun. Just running around with randoms - 0 communication, and taking down larger enemies has been enjoyable. It definitely has that "just one more kill" vibe to it. For…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I expect bugs/crashes for an early access game, but to have a bug where the game crashes and my character's level resets back to 1 when I log back in? Yikes. And it wasn't even a full reset on my character. I cannot progress due to character level resetting but all quests are still completed. Haven't heard back from support, nor have I really got a response from the devs saying they would try to resolve the issue. Will update my review when & if this issue gets resolved.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't tend to enjoy anything like an MMO, but this game has pleasantly surprised me. You can get around combat in a wide variety of ways, gliding through the spraying enemies down from above, comboing devasting charged AOE attacks into the melee charge attack that's very fun to use, or even spamming the AVP2 Predator-esque crouch jump and aerial slam. Aiming projectiles to hit the weakspots of large enemies or setting up an oppportunity to clamp onto the enemy's power stone and pummel it to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Right now it has a few issues and bugs. All of which seem to be getting some love or in line to get some love. I have played 113 hours at this point. I have crashed once but my entire PC rebooted which it 'never' does so I have no idea if it was the game or my PC. I have found one thing that directly and predictably caused my FPS to plummet to around .3FPS while I was doing it and the bug that enabled the scenario that I could make it do this has been addressed but at this instant is not live.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just not ready yet, I would not be comfortable taking money for this if it were my game. Every time I try to get on I have to sit through the five minute opening sequence, then the tutorial, then the following cinematic, and if you try to swap between online/offline guess what? Do it all over again. So you're looking at ~8 minutes of startup before you can play every time, which for someone like me who only gets to game in little spurts is a real downer. It also deleted my save twice.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of potential here. Will review in more detail as it gets more meat on its bones. Reminiscent of early Warframe in that there's a lot of fun game here, but players are going to have to be comfortable with a certain degree of technical jank for a *long* time. I'm skeptical that the game will truly be where it "should" be in the 7-12 months that the developers anticipate, and I would encourage them to monetize this as a service to fund a longer development cycle in the interest of having a…

neutral · AI labelView post →I want to recommend this game, but I cant. I liked the concept and it was fun to play. That being said the game hasn't been updated in over a year. The original publisher shut its doors and the official Facebook and X account for RUNWILD Entertainment are either inactive or deleted entirely. RIP.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't listen to all those negative reviews....they barely played the game. Is the game in a perfect state? No. But once you get into it, there's alot to be discovered. Somethings I would say is that, don't expect a constant 60fps or higher, that's not gonna happen. There are also some issues with the pack ( party ) system and if it auto-kicks you, you'll likely have to quit the game and re-party up. There is also a bug, happens super rare, where your aim can get stuck in a direction and…

neutral · AI labelView post →Hate to say it but this game seems to be dead. No audience, no updates in almost a year, no comms with the devs, it's seemingly just fully abandoned. What IS here is a really mixed bag. It's got cool ideas but seems largely co-op focused, but no one is playing so good luck there. The combat is a complete mess with floaty everything, no real hit feedback and just generally jank controls. The upgrade systems are ULTRA grindy, quite tedious and unbelievably wide ranging for very few actual…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, just needs to fix some bugs. A friend of mine went to upgrade his account. When he did it messed it up and apparently is now just floating on their servers somewhere and now instead of being level 80ish hes now lvl 1 again. Its "Supposed" to get fixed soon but its been 3 days. Besides the initial bugs in the game from it being new, its a fantastic game. Ill keep playing and i cant wait to see what this game brings i n the future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ahh, what a shame. Interesting idea, overall not bad as there is SOME game there but there is literally no point in buying this. Company has been liquidated, so obviously no updates will ever come out for it. Were I the dev on the way out I'd set the game for free and walk away. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, at most you'll just be paying creditors, to hell with them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Almighty: Kill your Gods by RUNWILD is very interesting mixture between an action RPG like Diablo and a game like Monster Hunter, with giant monsters to kill. Before you read further: full disclosure, I am a Herald for Versus Evil, the publisher of this game. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit different from what is out there. It has an unique aspect to it which feels refreshing to me. The home island rebuilding is nice (your home base), I like these features with both visual and actual upgrades. It's interesting that they tied building up the Tower to increase your actual power. You spend resources everywhere and at first it feels like "dude, we need a lot of cash to rebuild this", and yes, it is true, but as you progress you gain more resources and things start…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you remember Sacrifice? This game is very similar to it, without the army management and improvements. Remember being locked into one spell from a god and finding out it stunk? We here you can switch out the powers because they are based off the power stones you collect. So far for early access i'm digging the game can't wait to see how this plays out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is in early days of its early access, so it is a bit rough around the edges but I don't think I have been this surprised and excited about a game in a while. The combat is fluid and fun, if a little loose and "fluffy" feeling. I see this as something that like likely improve and is absolutely fine for the time being. The base building seems like a lot of fun and there seems to be a lot to do, but I have not done much with it so far. I have been to focused on the best part: the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jumped back in after the latest update and pretty glad I did. I think I originally expected more of an action game but once I reconfigured my brain to Monster Hunter mode, I felt much more at home. Really hoping a community builds around this game. I think it deserves another look.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meaningful Updates take Months to Years to be released, reported bugs aren't fixed with quick hotfixes but instead collected to be included in a "big update" to add bloat to the Patchnotes. The game itself can be fun for a while but gets needlessly grindy after around level 50-60, up until that point leveling feels smooth and somewhat rewarding but after that you just get teased by meaningless level ups that don't unlock anything new as upgrades only really come every 10 levels. Another…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Coming from a Solo player experience: Honestly for a game in early access I feel as if I already got my moneys worth. it does need more optimization, but if you can handle the occasional frame drop and like the game's concept then i'd recommend giving it a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the concept of this game! It is so creative and unique, and I just love the art style. There is nothing quite like bringing down a huge enemy and mailing their parts back home. This game definitely has some bugs, but you can tell they are totally working hard on it and fixing it up. Part of the reason I love Early Access is that I know I'll be able to play the game first and have an influence on how it heads down the home stretch. Even if there are bugs and imbalances, that's fine, as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far so good, starts a little slow but opens up into something that feels pretty epic and having a lot of fun, entry price seems fair. Would like to see melee get some attention. Feels pretty unique to me even though there are a lot of elements you will have seen before, Will keep an eye on this as it develops, looking forward to see how it turns out, and giving pack hunting a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, where start, this game is good at first. The grind is extremely real on this one. One hard negative in this game is the rag doll physics. It's so extreme and ridiculous, it's cost me many many many deaths. Second, the animations are too long, for being an action game things need to be quick and responsive, most controls and animations are not. The last mission on the quest board made me rage so hard due to the BS compass which doesn't display bosses, and in the last quest it's needed so…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not forgetting this game is in Early Access, it offers a lot of fun game play and has the potential to be great. The devs are also actively listening to feedback and taking actions so huge kudos for that. I really like the movement and most animations in the game, and the UI is really nice to use and look at. Here are a few suggestions for improvement, however: Home island: Able to upgrade even though not had enough money (prayer wall; shops etc.) Home island: Fell in water but could not…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gotta give it a bad review for one simple reason, they have an option to "upgrade your account" yet all it does is reset all your progress and completely screw you over. ♥♥♥♥ move devs ♥♥♥♥ move. do not reccommend this POS til they fix it

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An easy recommendation if first you are someone that understands what to expect from EA games. is it polished? no. Are there Bugs? haha yes. Devs are active though which is a good thing, there were alot more problems on day 1 than day 2. And im sure we can expect plenty more optimization/hotfixs over the weeks and months to come. The Good Stuff 1. Decent Game loop, its more of material grind than a gear grind, kill bosses, mobs, extract body parts and loot, upgrade equip/home base. rinse…
