DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE AN ACHIEVEMENT HUNTER WHO ISNT TECH-SAVVY I love these games, I love THIS game, but man do I hate Ubisoft. You cannot access the DLC or a **main part of the base game** called Desmond's Journey as is, meaning you cannot get all the achievements. There are workarounds in the guides, and if you combine two different guides and are good at following directions and/or filling in the gaps when doing …

I hate to do this, but Ubisoft killed this game (and I am not talking about the usual stuff with their Ubisoft Connect). When they removed Multiplayer, they removed a good amount of code that makes parts of the game work. The Desmond missions do not work, the DLC doesn't work, and maybe more. It's been like that for two years (as there is a guide on how to downgrade to readd the files) & I don't think it's ever …

Unpopular opinion but AC Revelations > AC2 > AC Brotherhood I thought this game had the most enjoyable gameplay with Constantinople having the best city design in the trilogy, the story was also a great conclusion to Ezio and Altair's characters. The only thing I miss from AC Brotherhood is the pigeon coop assassination missions.

Revelations feels like Ubisoft letting Ezio take a victory lap while also handing the keys to Altair again. Constantinople is gorgeous, the soundtrack is beautiful and the hookblade is unnecessary but awesome. The story actually tries to say something instead of just yelling templars bad, which is appreciated. Desmond sections are still a bit of a vibe killer, but at least they’re short. Combat is familiar, stealth …

One last journey with Ezio. Assassin’s Creed Revelations feels like saying goodbye to a legend. Ezio Auditore is not one of the best characters in this franchise. He is a figure for Assassin’s Creed. After following his story through Florence, Rome and now Constantinople seeing him grow from an Assassin into the man he becomes here hits way harder than I expected. And then there is Yusuf... Yusuf was one of those …

Critics, per Wikipedia
Assassin's Creed: Revelations received generally positive reviews from critics upon release. Aggregating review websites GameRankings and Metacritic gave the PlayStation 3 version 80.05% and 80/100, the Xbox 360 version 79.37% and 80/100, and the PC version 74.67% and 80/100 respectively. IGN gave the game a rating of 8.5 out of 10, stating "This is the best Assassin's Creed yet, even if that victory is claimed by an inch and not a mile. If you've been following the lives of Altair and Ezio this long, you owe it to yourself to see their last adventure." 1UP gave the game a rating of B+, stating "While Revelations lacks that one supreme improvement or standout mechanic that defined AC2 and…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10 achievements are impossible to complete because Ubisoft's last patch broke that section of the game, plus it's DLC locked which is unpurchasable. Great game, trash parent company. Completionist's nightmare.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DLC "The Lost Archive" was fantastic. I bought it in 2023, installed it and never deleted it, but it's not possible to play it anymore, because Ubisoft delisted it in 2024, even for past buyers. I hate Ubisoft, what a horrible anti-customer company.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For who cannot play Desmond's Journey and The Lost Archive DLC Due to the update that removed multiplayer from the game also gutted the files required for accessing both Desmond's Journey and The Lost Archive DLC, we need to follow this "[url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3208375262] Accessing Desmond's Journey and The Lost Archive Post Update " to play the whole game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(RATING: 6/10) BUT: The famous disclaimer at the beginning of the game, stating that it was "developed by a multicultural team of various faiths and beliefs," is nothing more than a corporate shield. This message is used to camouflage an orientalist and insecure historical narrative designed to feed the deep-seated biases of the Western market. While the game remains playable thanks to the charisma of Yusuf Tazim, the gorgeous atmosphere of Istanbul, and a brilliant soundtrack, we are not…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is great, but Ubisoft sucks major testicles, and having a third party launcher as a requirement on Steam should be against the TOS. Just get this game elsewhere, where you can run it offline (yarrr).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do NOT buy this game from Ubisoft. I just spent 10 hours playing, was having a grand time, and the game completely froze my PC. Ok, fine, not the first time its happened so far. So I reboot my PC like normal. Except my save file is now gone. And I tried multiple things to get it back, and none of them worked. So ♥♥♥♥ you Ubisoft and your broken ass launcher that can't figure out how to cloud save to save its life. Also, the DLC and one of the main tenets of the game is unplayable because…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 game but ubisoft decides to make the absolute most garbage launcher and everytime you launch the game (even on steam) you have to log in on your ubi account, i logged in twice and my account got suspended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is no need for a second launcher like ubisoft connect when you play it trough steam just an extra overlay an extra annoyance to the experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Complete and utter disaster- that's my review of Ubisoft and steam support and this game. I can't play this game or any other AC games I've purchased because of Ubisoft account errors. I had a Ubisoft account previously, but about 5 months ago I couldn't log into my account. I wrote Ubisoft, still no reply. Last month I gave up and bought the next game on sale, made a new Ubisoft account- could play the intro tutorial/sequence 1 for approx 1h and the next day couldn't log into that one either.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →✦ INTRODUCTION Nobody actually reads long reviews anymore so, hi! :D Grab a popcorn. Now, Revelations is a strange game because it is simultaneously one of the most ridiculous and one of the most sincere entries in the entire Assassin’s Creed series. Yes it is another Ubisoft historical tourism simulator where you climb buildings, stab increasingly concerned men in increasingly elaborate outfits, collect enormous quantities of meaningless objects, and occasionally remember that there is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is impossible to get all achievments as The lost archive dlc is unavaliable. Moreover I cannot play optional Desmond sequeneces. As I checked it all happened after turning off multiplayer servers, but somehow also dlc and modern day content in base game stopped working. It is sad that Ubisoft do not care about their older games and a problem is still unrepaired after 2 years.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game being part of the Ezio trilogy is a must play as they're one of the best in the whole series. It brings a closure to Ezio's chapter and Altair's past. It's accompanied by great music and visuals, yet I cannot recommend it in the current state, unless you go through some hoops and workarounds to get everything working. The state it is left in is really saddening, and I'm surprised it's even sold in it. Ubisoft not only didn't release the remastered Ezio Collection on Steam/PC, they…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will preface by saying that this is my personal favorite AC game. Unfortunately the haphazard way Ubisoft removed the DLC and multiplayer somehow also broke the single player campaign. In the mission "A New Regime" the game will crash every time you complete the encounter where you have to use the throwing knife. I tried about 6 times to make it work, but it just doesn't. Since you cannot bypass this mission, the story is literally impossible to complete without modifying your PC settings or…

UBI launcher is trash, annoying and I hate it with every fiber of my being. I HATE all these glued on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launchers that are "popular" now days. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Compare to other Assassin's creed games this so reliable, graphics are also good, clothes simulation of ezio also best or can say close or better then the modern games like Assassin's creed unity. But one thing I don't like is if you want to play, then you need an third party ubisoft account,my account is also hacked and I found a new way to play your games even your account is hacked 100% all achievements, cloud save both side steam or ubisoft. Or everything is good I suggest more optimization…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The end of an era This might be the best assassins creed game. Its Ezios last journey before Connor and ubisoft did Ezio justice. although not introducing too much new side content it did build up on what was already established well enough. For example the assassin recruits, although not all assassins can become master assassins the ones that can all have unique missions that serve as lessons which characterises them even if only a little. The templar dens, another returning feature from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.", and the only fix is to reset the password, every 2 days. Ubisoft launcher has to be the biggest junk of a software in recent years, not to mention you've to type in your password for every new session. The day they remove this stupid launcher for these older games is the day I can say we have truly advanced.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Legit got only 6 hours into the game before all my progress got deleted randomly. I know its not much but i feel like 6 hours of my life has been wasted....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best of the trio IMO, really good story, nice location, great graphics, and really nice background audio. Some minor quibbles, especially not being able to skip the end credits, and the stupid Ubislop Connect thing that forces password input every reboot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to really love Assassins creed and Revelations was the only one in the Ezio trilogy that I didnt play when i was a kid. So i had high hopes and bought it on a sale. The game itself is fine but the amount of nuance that comes because of ubisoft is unbearable. Firstly I am forced to login to the ubisoft launcher. It requires me to enter my password quite frequently (like if i dont play for 2-3 days i need to reenter my credentials). The launcher is slow and janky. And worst of all,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Assassin's creed revelations is a fine game but ubisoft have gutted the multiplayer and DLC and forced you to use ubisoft connect. They actively try and make the game worse without fixing a game breaking bug present in 2013. I cannot finish this game because they have time to disable content and force me to use their steam knock off but not make another samey boss battle load properly without crashing. I would have sucked up having to edit details files in the game to allow me to use my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good final game to close out the Ezio trilogy the game feels very polished, the soundtrack was good, and the story was decent and provided a satisfying end to the trilogy. I really like the Altair flashbacks/sequences. Overall a very solid game 8.5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly this game is no longer playable even if you force it on older DX versions or run on windows compatibility mode, as when you alt + tab or an app goes Infront of the application, the game crashes.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →!!! THE DLCs ARE NOT PLAYABLE WITHOUT MODS !!! This makes the game impossible to 100% without mods, there are ways to unlock the two dlcs, but this should not be needed nonetheless. Other than this, the game is great, a nice conclusion to Ezio's story
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game very much, the storyline is vibrant, the cities and landscapes are beautiful, but there is one issue here. It is the developers. Ubisoft... can you please get yourself together. This is not a game that you want to sell to people in 2026, like what do you mean by logging into the game every time? positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would not purchase the game at the first place if I knew that the main part of the thing I purchased and downloaded the game for is missing... "Desmond's Journey" It just doesnt load, and when I googled it, I found out that Ubisoft accidently deleted some important files or something which were needed to play 'Desmonds journey' and I would not recommend anybody t purchase the game until they dont fix this problem.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best maps, early Ottoman era Constantinople is beautiful to look at and amazing to traverse with the new hookblade. The game also improved the equipment and weapon wheel very well. Only pain point is dealing with ubisoft connect, especially on linux
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It Glitched out in a very specific part in a Altair section, The game would crash every time I killed a certain enemy, and this was a mandatory section and the objective was to kill this enemy. I had a lot of back and forth between tech support and I, we tried everything, but nothing worked, I am so saddened that I can not finish this game, I was looking forward to playing this game the whole way through the other Ezio games :(.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A small concentrated AC:Brotherhood with just enough new features to make things fresh. Doesn't go well as a standalone game, since its main goal is to wrap up Ezio's and expand on Altair's stories, so I would recommend to at least play AC2 and Brotherhood beforehand.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great games but some contents are unplayable since Ubisoft removed the multiplayer things and the DLC is unpurchaseable. Great game but at what cost
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This version of the game is trash, please do yourself a favor and buy another version instead of this one. Every time I open steam and launch the game, Ubisoft Connect opens up and prompts me for the password. I mean EVERY TIME I launch this damn game I must manually input my Ubisoft Connect password. Also, this piece of trash of a game does not properly support/recognize ANY controller. Which means you will loose your time and patience trying to make it work.. SPOILER it does not work and the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is a beautiful and emotional conclusion to Ezio’s journey. You can feel the weight of his years, his wisdom, and his longing for peace in every scene. The way his story connects with Altair’s gives the game a powerful sense of closure that longtime fans will really appreciate. Constantinople is a stunning setting — full of culture, color, and history. The atmosphere and soundtrack are top-notch, and Ezio’s character development shines as always. That said, the…

If you play the game and get to a certain mission where we play as good ol' altair for the 3rd time 'The Regime" The game will constantly crash no matter if you validate files or re-install. There is a fix though however but you have to do it yourself by searching it online on steam discussions, and there you will find the lazy ass developers 'thanking' the community for fixing it, but they couldnt…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AC: Revelations is Ezio's swansong in the franchise, but also in a way remains as much of a conundrum as the conspiracies he spent all those years unravelling. I've been replaying the Ezio Trilogy recently, and ACR was the one entry I was most curious to replay. Back when the game first came out, I remember disliking everything about the game. But much like an ill-patient Ezio in his youth, I was wrong. To be honest, I've been pleasantly surprised. AC: Revelations isn't a perfect game by…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ll start by saying that I played the original release on PS3 and bought it on sale for PC out of nostalgia, just to 100% it all over again. It was such a memorable experience for me that I’ve played through it twice now, so I’d definitely recommend it. That said, it’s far from a perfect game, and Ubisoft has done nothing but make matters worse over the years. In its current state, you can't actually play Desmond's story within the Animus, or even the lore DLC (The Lost Archive), which…

This game is amazing and the storyline is too good. The storyline was short and had 9 sequences but it was amazing and the synchronization of missions is far easy compared to brotherhood and ac 3 . The ending of this game brought me tears in my eyes I swear the ending was perfect . I will not tell you about the ending…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Assassin’s Creed Revelations is a fitting and emotional finale to Ezio’s story. Watching him grow into a wiser, more reflective leader adds real weight to the journey, and the Altair sequences are a great bonus that nicely tie back to the series’ roots. Constantinople is a vibrant and enjoyable setting to explore, and the hook blade makes traversal faster and more fun without overcomplicating things. The side characters are also memorable and help bring the world to life. Visually, the game…

The gameplay started to feel repetitive, and the new mechanics—like tower defense and bomb crafting—felt more like exhausting chores than fun additions. However, what kept me going was the narrative depth and the nostalgic moments. The best part of the entire trilogy was seeing Leonardo da Vinci again; he looked incredibly kind and wholesome in…

Why keep asking password everytime you play it why not be like Syndicate or the RPG trio games and Shadows that doesn't ask for it everytime! Fix this Ubisoft! It's not only me that's having the problem!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has the best gameplay of the Etzio trilogy. But I feel the story is weaker than brotherhood. But it's great all the same. Couldn't recommend it more

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a fan of Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood, I was genuinely intrigued to see Ezio’s final journey and the conclusion to his story. The game does a solid job of tying things together — both for Ezio and Altair — and delivers a satisfying emotional payoff. However, the game isn’t without its flaws. There are quite a few glitches, especially during Altair’s cutscenes. Through a few tricks, I managed to get past them — my advice is to *take those sections slowly instead of rushing*, as the…
