What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 238 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (5,194 of 6,423 positive).
Many players compare it to House Flipper but find it more in-depth, allowing house building from scratch. [1][2][3] Several reviewers praise the game's value and fun, especially with friends, despite some jank. [4][5][6] Some players criticize the use of AI-generated assets, bugs, and poor optimization. I like the game and had a solid time for 10 hours. The price is very affordable and I think this game could have future. But the Devs should really look into the buggy state of the game before releasing multiple cosmetic DLC´s. Due to the current state of the game, I cannot recommend it. I would suggest waiting a few months and following the updates of the game. Here is a handfull of bugs I encountered in …

I loved this game but I brought this game without realising it used AI. This contradicts the Go Green story line of the game. Generative AI should not be used in place of real artists and I can no longer support a game that uses AI. It is disappointing as this game has real potential and could be brilliant if you just hired real artists.

This is a recommendation with an asterisk (maybe several asterisks). For the first 10 or so hours I was thinking this game is great, it's what House Flipper should have been. You can do all kinds of jobs: building houses (from the foundations up), demolishing stuff, cleaning stuff, trash recycling. And unlike House Flipper there are randomly generated contracts as well as defined missions, not just a very limited …

A Very Enjoyable Experience! Coming from HouseFlipper this game offers a lot more intricate gameplay to the point sometimes it feels WAY too complicated, having to build a House from 0 is not an easy task to handle, first of all to deisgn the actual house then having to make cement, pour them all for the foundation, getting the reinforced bar, sand them up, then you build the house Brick by Brick until everything is …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if this game was optimized i would say yes np but working on dlc packs before the game runs well is a big no for me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game does not disclose ai usage and uses lots of ai generated assets
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm afraid it's a no from me, at least if playing single player, the multiplayer experience may, and I very tentatively say may, be better. So I first became aware of this game after watching a couple of videos by the Neebs Gaming crew playing it, and I though that it looked like a more ambitious version of House Flipper and I bought it based on those videos, and in short, I regret it. It's Sunday today and I had plans to play it all day, truth is, I left the game running AFK doing housework…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, just no. I played this game for like 40 hours when it first release in early access. It had problems but the foundation was there. The economy was HORRIBLY off and the prices for things for what they do was so inconsistent. I put the game down, left my feedback that the econ needs fixed. Now I come back nearly 2 years alter, see its "released" and also has a few DLCs. Gave it a shot again and nope. The economy is even worse because of all the added stuff with no cost balances.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't listen to the negative reviews. Game used to be $30, they lowered base price to $10. As of 9/13/26, the historical low price is $3.39 for base game. "Locking content behind DLC paywall" The DLC is $4. On sale for $3. Most other DLC are cosmetic packs. $1 each. On sale for $0.50. The game is fun. You get enjoyment out of it. Sure it's not a 10/10, but its fun. Buy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Locking basic game features behind DLC paywalls is very scummy, doesn't matter how cheap they are it makes the game feel like mobile slop, zero integrity particularly when many people paid a significant amount for the game, I wouldn't recommend buying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MYM Games Studios is much more interested in pumping out DLC than fixing fundamental issues with the game, some of which have been around for most of the early access period, and others introduced when the game went 1.0. They do not care about their customers, so you should not care about their product. Update: And now the developer has taken to removing my posts about their anti-consumer behavior by complaining to Steam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not really a bad game. It just doesn't get the bug fixes it deserves. I've had this game for 1.5 years now and there are still very annoying bugs that were there when I bought it, and reported the bugs. For instance, the calculation of required materials to build a house, seem to have been programmed by a five year old... A house with 4 rooms have a requirement of 3 packs of baseboards and crown moldings. Since every room has 4 walls or more, and every pack contains 4 items...Do the…

The closest I can provide is **Wobbly Life** which is unironically an awesome physics heavy GTA-like themed around being a destructive kid. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1211020/Wobbly_Life/ For driving jobs, hanging out in a living multiplayer city and driving feel that hits just right check out the rabidly loved **Motor Town: Behind The Wheel**. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1369670/Motor_Town_Behind_The_Wheel/ **Contractville**…
neutral · AI labelView post →This is a good game but I cannot recommend it they are locking actual fetures behind paywalls with the new DLC which is something that should be in the base game locked behind it there is no content updates just optimizations and DLC like I get that the game is not expensive but now you need to pay for content which is crazy

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, but it's kinda stupid, how they made an entire shtick about "saving the enviorment", while using AI. All that 5+ hours spent on missions about making planet cleaner, and better, just to pu AI generated pictures on every damn corner, and in every building. Just hire some artist at this point.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, playing this, I thought it was still early access. for a released game with multiple DLCs it has too many bugs that make it unplayable. if you get it despite the bad reviews, be prepared to restart the game every hour or so. *side note, ive only played multiplayer
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You're supposed to get to a place in this game where you build whole houses. Yet this is not possible due to several building glitches that are not solvable and the game cannot be progressed past them. These bugs/glitches make it so you cannot continue the game. Fix the window glitch. And there's some kind of glitch with building missions specifically that make it so that when you complete a task, it doesn't get crossed off, it still says you're supposed to do it and it doesn't tell you what…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great concept, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization. I really wanted to love this game because the idea is awesome, but the optimization is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unbearable. It ruins everything. We tried to play with friends, but it’s literally unplayable: 15 FPS and constant crashes. It’s ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating to see a cool game become a piece of ♥♥♥♥ just because it's poorly made. Fix your game, because right now it’s a mess.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually, I have a real estate company, but being a taxi driver and delivery guy it's just my hobby. 🚕 The idea of this game is cool. You can build and break houses, be a delivery or taxi driver, do some quests, it's fun. It's funnier in co-op. But there's huge But. It's super junky and laggy. I got crushes a few times before I even load to the game properly, and when I'm there it's lagging non-stop. Playing in co-op is what makes the fun lasts longer. I enjoyed the idea of this game, the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Constant bugs and the devs only focus on releasing new DLCs. The UI isn't controller friendly, and ends up making the entire game feel unplayable. I wouldn't recommend this game even if it was free.

You can do all kinds of jobs: building houses (from the foundations up), demolishing stuff, cleaning stuff, trash recycling. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really looking forward to an open-world version of House Flipper, since being limited to your own lot was always one of that game’s biggest shortcomings. On paper, this sounded like exactly what the genre needed. Unfortunately, the execution falls short in almost every area. Animations feel clunky, graphics are underwhelming (especially material textures like wood), and overall the game feels more like early access than a finished product. There’s a solid idea here — planning out a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a fun game with a lot of potential. Hopefully, the devs will continue to release new expansions and add different styles of construction into the game in the future.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has ai generated images all over the steam page and it's not disclosed
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game. Needs some polish and optimizing. Quite a bit of stuttering during tasks. I was making more money with recycling than I was from house builds. Kind of dig the music. Worth checking out if you like House Flipper type games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ContractVille was a game that got my attention after I saw it had a house building mechanic a bit more realistic than the one in House Flipper. Noting this I purchased the game and was unfortunately met with nothing but disappointment. From the get go the game has an incredible over reliance on AI for both images, music and visuals. My personal stance on the usage in AI varies and I believe the usage is fine as long as ALL of the generated content will be removed at some point during the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've never seen a game perform this badly. Performance update? yeah right. That game runs worse than my dayz server with over 30GB of external mods. incredible. Well done devs, uninstalled forever
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →incredibly buggy. great concept but incredibly poor execution. so much of the visual and audio assets are AI generated. at many times it doesn’t even feel like a person was behind any aspect of this game.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a tough one. The game itself isn't bad, so I'm going to give it a thumbs up. It's just not for me. As a HUGE fan of House Flipper 1 and 2, this game just isn't doing it for me. I don't get that same stay up for hours playing it feeling I do from those games. In my opinion, House Flipper just does it all better from the house perspective. ContractVille has other stuff you can do in the game, which is cool, but for those that just enjoy the cleaning, decorating, painting, etc. it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has AI generated assets and is poorly optimised.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game alone or with friends! It’s like House Flipper but the graphics are less pretty. Which is okay for me because being able to drive around in a big map with a village and a city, buying plots, doing odd jobs, visiting stores to buy the stuff for your houses makes up for it! What I really like is that it has logistics in the game. Hope to see more content and curious about future updates! If you love house flipper, farming simulator and/or Euro truck simulator definitely give…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The developers are heavily using AI generated assets and textures. For example, the medieval mission is awful. The textures look like straight up puke. The naming of categories is awful. There are a game breaking bugs when playing with people. For example, using the truck with the trailer. Any player that isnt the host will see the trailer shaking uncrontrollably. If a non host player drives the vehicle while this happens, the truck and the trailer will be thrown into space. The required…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun it reminds me of House Flipper in many ways however the game is more indepth than House Flipper in the sense that you can MAKE HOUSES. Yes you can make houses as a whole not just buy them, decorate and sell. No no no, you can make them from scratch in select areas by buying plots of land and doing the WHOLE Process of building a house. You hear it right, THE WHOLE PROCESS and that processs is very slow and tedious (You need to get a lot of upgrades to have it move remotely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This product gets better and better with each update. Thank you developers. It is a fun game where you get to demolish, build and decorate, while setting up a sucessful business. I like the online shop where products are delivered to the project you are working on. Don't love the driving part (mostly because I am no good at it), but I am enjoying the game so much that it doesn't take the fun out of it at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horrible game. 1. Glitchy af - I keep getting stuck. Screen tearing, massive framerate drops. 2. I got extremely dizzy playing this game. And yes, I did turn motion sickness on. STILL SUPER DIZZY! 3. Way too tedious and grindy. 4. I keep running into ♥♥♥♥ - the hitboxes are horrendous. 5. Extremely large learning curve and not intuitive at all. 6. AI assets. 7. Holds your hand when you don't need it but throws you to the wolves when you do need instructions. 8. Horrible controls - driving is a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yep. Neebs gaming also sent me here. I would never have thought to buy this but loving it. It's quirky and some might say Janky but there's some charm in that. I am really enjoying it. I love the stupid red van that is impossible to drive. great to upgrade. Love the satisfaction of cleaning up and the environmental elements. It's great. Doesn't demand too much of me.

This game has been siting on my steam account for as long as I can remember, it turns out to actually be very addicting. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watched Neebs Gaming play this and thought I could do better (the perfect advertisement for a game, really). I'm enjoying it so far, it's fun and not really run into any bugs as a solo player. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Man, the reviews for this game are so misleading/unfair. For my ADHD brain, this is it. Just a seemingly endless list of tasks, I've experienced no game breaking bugs and I don't really know if I've experienced many bugs atall. This has been on my wishlist for so long and I've held off taking the dive due to negative reviews and the fact that I thought it was a multiplayer focused game. I've put 48 hours in in one day lol. I personally prefer this to house flipper. I'm finding the progression…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've had this game for a few years now. While the premise is good, the delivery stinks. You're given a few simple tasks: clean up a room, plaster some walls, etc. The problem is that it soon turns into a grind. For example, in painting a wall, it's unclear what color goes on. So you drive to the hardware store, buy a bucket of paint, drive back to the house, and try painting, only to find out that it's supposed to be a specific color, and NOT the one you bought. You're better off playing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I never leave reviews because I'm lazy. But. This time I have to because this game was released back in May and something that should have come with the base game is missing and makes the game practically unplayable. I'm not kidding. Once you lock in your blueprint there's no going back. None. You better hope you saved an earlier version of the game. The amount of bugs in the game is so bad that it should never have come out of beta. I've had entire floors on my blueprints disappear after…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We finally get to the point where we can actually design a house and the games breaks making one wall unpaintable and stopping any progression.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great for singleplayer but if you want to play with your friends the game is buggy or you can't join your friends. everytime we get the error connection error. And if you ask for help in the discord they don't respond. We just had this issue after the latest update.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It seems fine at first. Renovation, decoration and demolition all work roughly as they should. But the building is ROUGH. The planning system has far too much jank: If you make a room with an internal corner, it'll split it into two rooms with no way to alter it. Stairs can ONLY go up, so in spite of basements existing in some houses that you renovate/redecorate, you can not make a basement yourself. The area under stairs can not be assigned as a room type, so no under-stair storage or broom…

It's a little slow to kick off, but anyone that likes these types of games, I promise, it's worth every cent!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game just doesn't seem to work properly. Tunting around is slow while walking forward and backwards is too fast, the GPS takes you to the wrong locatoin. The built in key bindings are ackward to use, to name a few of the issues I ran into to. This game has potential. It just is extreamly dificult to manuver and play and figure out where to go and how to do things. I will come back to this game at sometpoint and most likely go from a thumbs down to thumsb up.
