Fun to play yes.. do I feel like the physics have improved in 10 years over 5 versions of the game that I own? Not at all, they're still super janky and almost feel worse. Wish there was some competition so Giants would be forced to actually do something to make their game better. UI in this version is awful too, no thought put into anything.

I don't understand how the Farming Simulator series fails to get any better with each new release. I’ve played every single entry since FS15, and it feels like the franchise completely stopped innovating after FS19. According to a 2023 article in The Guardian, Giants Software admitted that virtually all of their development costs are covered by licensing contracts from manufacturers wanting their equipment in the game. Knowing that, I find it inexcusable that they don't reinvest those…

It's somehow almost like a downgrade from what I remember this franchise being. This is a reskinned Farming Simulator 22. Which itself was a reskinned Farming Simulator 19. I notice practically no graphical enhancements and no game mechanics that make this game anymore worth it than just playing FS19, or hell, even FS17. If I go back to my console, or even just watching a video on youtube, the only thing that would MAYBE be a telltale sign between a side by side of FS17 or FS25 is that the…

The engine for this game was coded by chimps who don't know what multi-core CPUs are. When my GPU is at 64% ultilization, and my CPU is at 33%, I do not expect the game to be running at 54fps with 30fps 1% lows, just because I have 2 AI workers harvesting! And worse, they are so precious about their code that they lock it so that modders aren't even able to fix their damn engine for them! It drives me freaking crazy... And moreso because I love this franchise... And yet it's like they want me…

I'm conflicted. I find myself spending hours on end on it, just like I did with Farming Simulator 22. And I'm geniunely enjoying it. If you don't have any of the previous Farming Simulator titles, go for it. If you have one of the previous ones, there is very little need to upgrade. It's almost exactly the same as before. It's addictive and enjoyable, but at the same time it has things that are absolutely infuriating. Things that are bad: * Handeling anything with anything. Moving pallets,…

Where to start, Yes the game is good, it is farming simulator after all, that said, if you have played previous ones, mainly fs22, then you like, me, might be disappointed. The game has been out for a while now and still has bugs with base game items, the krone profi liner trailer for example, its like it has its brakes on constantly and a 600hp+ truck only pulls it at 20kph tops even unloaded. There is just no updates or devs trying to make improvements. The UI is horrible compared to fs22,…

Not very different from other GIANTS Software productions, Farming Simulator 2025 certainly brings some interesting news, implementing three new biomes and as many different methods to deal with the experience. Recommended for anyone who needs to get their hands dirty with mud and for those looking for a quiet experience.

EN This number of bugs is probably a record. Basic mechanics don't work. The game randomly assigns contracts to dead fields, or fields that are unharvestable. The workers are incredibly dull and can't handle the simplest tasks, even turning around at the edge of a field without help. Compared to FS22, it's a huge regression. The developers are capitalizing on the popularity of previous editions and want to extract money for absolutely nothing with as little effort as possible. Furthermore, it…

I came to this game from long experience with sandbox games, but no real-life agricultural experience at all. I'm a city girl who grew up across the street from an automotive plant, and know very little of farming. I mean, I understood that plants are farmed from the land and that follows seasons, and that herds of animals are kept for meat, wool (sheep), eggs (chickens), and so on. But other than that... not much, lol. For someone like me who has never been involved in the rural,…

In my opinion, FS25 is pretty much the complete package now. Lots of crops and animals, built-in GPS, production chains, seasons... Really can't see how it can improve as a single-player game. In my opinion only, the lazy answer is that for the past few versions of the game the only real improvement besides slapping on a new coat of paint is to just incorporate a few fan-favorite third-party mods, charge another $100+ every few years to repurchase everything, and call it a day. Have…

It's absolutely INCREDIBLE that Giants managed to release a carbon copy of their last installment and still roped us into buying it. Why do I have to download a 3rd party mod to mitigate the auto-save lock that occurs every time one enters the main menu? A known issue since FS22, yet one that remains in this release. I paid $70+ to download all of the same FS22 mods over again and see some slight ground deformation.

The latest update introduces a gorgeous new map and fishing mechanics but even without that optional DLC the core game is excellent, add on some free maps like Silverrun Forest and there are alot of options for different gameplay styles available Do you like large projects that require huge amounts of resources to complete, that changes as you contribute to it, and is visually…

The movement physics and camera feel clunkier than ever. The main menu feels AI generated and the UI is a letdown compared to FS22. The very minor graphical improvements don't warrant the cost. If only there were actual competitors in the genre, giants wouldn't be able to print money from all the divorced dads playing this game.

I honestly lost all motivation to play after the latest update. I have spent a huge amount of time building and customizing my farm on an existing save. After the update, trees that I had previously removed suddenly came back. And they didn’t just appear somewhere harmless. They spawned inside my cow barn, garages, factories, silos and other buildings. Some of them are literally impossible to remove because the building completely covers the tree, so I can’t even target it with an…

Graphics are relatively the same, some new crops, new gameplay but 85% is still the same. Caveat #2: If you are new to the series or havnt played in a few versions; FS25 is full of bugs. This game is hardly better than FS22. The graphics are not a huge improvement over FS22. The force feedback still sucks. The physics still suck. I know this is not entirely a knock against FS25, but pretty much anything in FS25 can be easily modded for FS22. All in all, if you don't have FS22 get FS25. If you have FS22, I wouldn't bother buying FS25.

I mean, the game is good but men: for this price the programmers could have done a better job with the shaders. Literally there is a guy on youtube, who has created his owns shaders and honestly it's like viewing a different game (on a graphic's level).

I'd say its the best farming simulator out there. Very realistic, challenging too (expecially for people like me who have no idea of anything about the vehicles or crops) and its beautiful game too. ALSO! The game is not just about crops, you can also own businesses, take care of animals and do lumber (with vehicles) and aloottt mmoooreee!! Very recommended!

I played FS17, FS19, and FS22, and now I’m playing this version. Personally, I really liked the graphics and the new crops. However, if you want to play it on an older computer, it can lag severely—even on the lowest settings; that’s what happened to one of my friends.

Gameplay is smooth and engaging, whether you’re working solo or managing a co-op farm with friends. However, one area that still needs refinement is the dedicated server functionality. While multiplayer works well overall, setting up and managing dedicated servers can be clunky, and occasional sync issues or connection drops can disrupt longer sessions. For a game that shines in cooperative play, this aspect feels like it could use more polish.

The new ai workers are complete trash and simply don't work. They literally just can't drive on the road or deliver anything, especially if there is a trailer or other equipment attached. They are incapable of finding a path to the road. Even when they're working in the fields they stop in the middle of the job and sit there clueless with no idea how to continue causing you to have to come in and reset it. The new AI is terrible, Farm Sim 22 is a million times better. At least the vehicles in…

Game is OK but maaaaan do the Maps SUCK SO HARD!!! like i cant begin to tell you how much i hate every singe F'n map they have in this game and it constantly keeps me from starting it back up. Also its impossible to be profitable. you buy 2 fields for grass and the equipment -- 800k. i get like 20 bales of grass a harvest. if you do the math it takes me at least 18 years of steady work TO BREAK EVEN. god i want to love this game but i HATE IT

it's fun but the performance is actually abysmal, might be the most unoptimized game I've ever played, but this gameplay is obviously crazy slow and the performance honestly doesn't hurt the fun too badly because of the pace of the game. Get it on sale, not full price

As a software engineer I work with my head and continuous context switching at the job can overload you. After such a day, it is so much fun to just come to this game, cultivate some fields, spread some lime and fertilizer, plant seeds and wait for it to grow. It's so peaceful and relaxing. As as simulation, sure you have some quirks, but the graphics, atmosphere and handling equipment in this game are really good. And there's so much of it! However, be warned! The game does absolutely…

Farming Simulator 25 is easily the best entry in the franchise so far and, in my opinion, the most complete farming experience the series has ever delivered. From the moment I started my first save, it was obvious that this game was built with a much stronger attention to detail, realism, and immersion than any previous title. Every system feels more polished, every environment feels more alive, and the overall experience makes it incredibly easy to lose track of time while managing your farm.…
