Some find the second prestige layer frustrating due to lost progress. [1][2][3] The game is recommended for fans of long idle games with automation. [4][5][6]

The game was pretty fun at first. Did a couple of world fracture resets and things sped up a lot. You could automate almost everything. I felt like I was making progress. Then reality shattering comes up. And man, the second level of resets are not fun. All that speed and automation? Gone. Got to earn it again. And the currency you get for the reality shattering is a lot more stingy at first. Starting over and not …

Guess who got suckered in deep and is been idling this one for hours on end now. Yup! It’s a-me, Tchii. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it has something very satisfying to idle this one on the side while watching a serie or doing something else. I sometimes even have the sound volume on low because for some reason the sound tickles my brain. For me one of the best features is deff the F9 button which lowers …

Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Fracture Field : Fracture Field is a good game, as long as you know what you're getting into. Not a flashy dopamine fiesta, but a long shot idler with a lot of automation. Two layers of prestige = bold and scary! * The game suffer from the comparison with Keep on Mining, they both have the same look. But it's unwarranted : while Keep on Mining is all about Dopamine and flashy …

One of my favorite incremental games ever. The double level of prestige was such a smart idea, and the devs actually listen to our complaints and actively tried to make it better. I had SO much fun playing this. My only complaint is I found some of the upgrades confusing to understand. They weren't explained as well as I would like, so sometimes I'd just blindly upgrade stuff and wouldn't understand what they were …

the fact negative reviews are here just because people don't know how an incremental game works stuns me. the game does what it does perfectly, you achieve the satisfaction of automation and speeding things up, YES the slump hits you when you reality shatter, but the pay back is worth the grind, I personally also find it refreshing to play back the slow parts, when you get back to the point you were at you do feel …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finished the game, so obviously it held my interest, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it. It's very poorly paced and the late game is esoteric and inconvenient. It took me ages to get the Drone Overlord achievement, for example, because the game encourages setting up ratios and maximums for your drones, while all of them have hardcoded maximums in the background too. You'd think the difference would be made up by your uncapped hammer drones, except they do have a secret cap that isn't stated…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is an automation game with incremental features. I like the prestige-inception idea. If you like automation or incremental, but not the other, then you probably won't enjoy this. There have been updates to fix a few things like pacing and stuff, but I prefer to play with an active playstyle and that just isn't possible. Unfortunately, at the same time it requires you to be active enough that it is annoying if you wanted to just play passive with automation only. The only tool an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a prestige simulator and a slow one at that. I hated it. I try not to refund games but I did not enjoy the roughly 1 hour I gave in this game, it just felt like it was purposefully designed to waste your time. It felt like a free to play incremental and I'm not a fan of those. They draw things out and force you to idle even with active play - not my ideal incremental.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If your looking for more Skilltree bases idle games skip this one. If you are familiar with Clicker Heros this is similar but worse. You have the hard reset mechanics of gaining miniscule improvements and multipliers for literally resetting you to square 1. Everything meaningful takes way too long to get and is excessively grindy and unrewarding. I played this game for over an hour and i only unlocked 2 of the tools and fractured the world (hard reset for stat multipliers) once. And im…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →as someone who spent 60 hours 100%ting this game these are my thoughts on the game. the game was really fun and enjoyable the first 2-3 hours i assumed it was gonna be similar to most other idlers/incrementals where it takes 7-8 hours to beat but oh boy was i wrong. they made progression in this game take rediculously long for seemingly no reason with no feeling of reward from making progress. the upgrades in both world fracture and reality shatter make very little difference on your gameplay…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really glad to have a longer idle again vs one that you can complete in a few hours. The sounds are very satisfying, setting up your drone army feels very good. Edit: Just wanted to add while there are achievements up to 1000 hours, the game doesn't really change much after a few of the second prestiges. So while it is longer than a few hours and I still really enjoyed it, I don't want to mislead people into thinking this is one of those very long idle games that I love. I saw a lot of…

positive · AI labelView post →I got all the achievements and this is all I gotta say. The game at start feels really slow, the progression of getting upgrades and fractures is annoying at start. But in the late game, the game speeds up by a lot. Me personally I was getting bored at start of the game since you are limited and don't have everything unlocked. But later on when you will unlock the Reality Shards it will speed up the game. The good part was that the game wasn't a 2-4 hour game, this one really needs time. For…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a fan of Idle / Incremental games and this one has more to sink your teeth into than most. 54 hours to 100% is worth the price. Balancing is good, and they are actively working to make it better, although if I made a suggestion it would be to rework / remove the prestige momentum upgrade as I feel it promotes an unfun playstyle of spamming fractures only for the % increase which is strong but boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →someone finally made an idler game that lasts longer than 10 hours and doesn't look like a spreadsheet. then people complained so much that the dev had to make the game easier. i would say that progression is TOO fast now - there are upgrades i haven't purchased because i simply never needed them to complete the game. there used to be an achievement for 1000 hours played, and now it's gone and you can complete the game in 30-40. on one hand i'm disappointed i'm not going to be able to let…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is unfinished. It starts okay, but then in less than 1 hour you literally cant have any more progress. There are about 6 upgrades, which are basic "more dmg" or "more attack speed" type ♥♥♥♥, and you can also get drones. But after the first hour, nothing interesting happens. Even the reborn mechanics feels useless since there is no progression feeling after you play 1 hour. Played this a full day, 7 hours while working, and I can 100% say that this is an unfinished product.…

neutral · AI labelView post →I'm quite enjoying this. It took a while to get the hang of the rhythm, which has made me realise that replaying once I get all the achievements will feel pretty satisfying. Mid-game can be a grind for folks like me until you realise the best way to optimise for your play style. It starts off like many incrementals where you need to put effort into it until most of the game is taking care of itself and you just need to check in every now and then (or more often if you want faster rewards…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible progression. It takes forever for each restart (prestige) and it's only getting slower. Upgrades are not at all clear/meaningful, and once you invest you cannot change your choices to test what works best.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game doesn't have any interesting mechanics. There are a few upgrades and two levels of prestige, but there are almost as few mechanics as you can have within that and every tier is an exact replica of the previous one. There is no story, no world building, there isn't even much of a theme. The theme is rocks, I guess, but it's not like how Cookie Clicker has a theme of cookies, but it is made interesting by the absurdity of cookies warping the universe, which is a bit interesting. There…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a classic incremental game with a two-layer prestige system. Progress starts off fairly slowly, but after a while the pacing improves significantly and the game becomes much more satisfying. If you enjoy idle games but don't want to spend excessive time micromanaging every reset, the progression feels rewarding once the automation and prestige upgrades begin to stack. The late game eventually becomes very fast, to the point where you generate the maximum amount of resources within…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would actually recommend it if you want to get rid of your idler - addiction as it mercilessly shows you the meaninglessness of those time wasting games You gonna start hating yourself for doing these hours and hours of pointless grinding until you come to the point where your mind clears up and you delete the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice incremental. Not the greatest, but it did the job. I fell asleep with this running a few times and woke up to a million+ destroyed rocks, so it was clearly more productive than me. 6/10 rocked me to sleep.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →overall, I would recommend this game, but there is a bug in reality shatter, the upgrade for reducing costs does not seem to work, so I hope the author could fix this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⛏️ 19 Hours In And Apparently I Still Haven't Fractured Enough Worlds Fracture Field is one of those incremental games that starts with an incredibly simple idea and then somehow manages to convince me that breaking the same rocks thousands of times is a perfectly reasonable way to spend my time. The basic loop is very easy to understand. Mine Stone, spend what you earn on upgrades, unlock Clay and continue working your way through increasingly valuable resources. Along the way you'll improve…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →after 100%ing it i can say... Its ok i would say but there are better games to play. after you unlock the automatic drone wakeup you have basically seen all of the game. you unlock more drones and ores but its all the same gameplay loop through 2 prestige systems. 90% of the time was just letting it sit afk in the background.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dangit, I was about to leave a negative review for this game (I really didn't like the double prestige system, I turned the music off after ten minutes, and I still can't figure out how the drone allocation works) but the heartfelt message from the solo dev when I got every achievement really got me and then I wishlisted their upcoming project. Little details like that mean a lot to me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fracture Field is an average incremental game where you mine rocks; for me it's a touch too grind heavy and boring, not offering much new to see or do after the first few hours, bogging itself down with TWO legacy currencies (where the second one also wipes out the first one which shows progression down to a grinding crawl). I've left the game running a fair bit, while cooking or tidying or reading to the kids and I still feel like I wasted time on this game. Oh, and the turret drones don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good fun idle game that seems daunting at first when you see the upgrades and resets within resets. You quickly learn that it gets going fast and is not bad at all. I am tired of playing idle games that go on for months and years so anything like this that can take hours or days instead is quite welcome now and then. Relatively easy 100% but takes a few hours, days if idling a lot like me.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Liked it until the second prestige tier, which seemed forced and built only to artificially make the game longer than it should be. It's a pity as until then the game was very enjoyable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually like incremental idler games. This, however, was far too repetitive and slow. A prestige. Then a prestige to the prestige. And it takes ages. I tried to like it, but it didn't click.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →chill, not too long and simple
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought the game, and kept playing it because of 3 main reasons: 1. game is fun 2. dev cares what players think/want and comment 3. dev releases updates regarding players' comments Thanks
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty good game to spend a few hours on. just need to fix the terrible lag when manually mining
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the game all the way through and I think it's fantastic. Seems to have a hard cap with how many reality fragments you can collect in one run, but even with 20+ hours of gameplay it's much better than the other miner games on steam that only offer 6 hours of gameplay. I only idled for 2 hours at most, if you are constantly upgrading and rebirthing it will keep you busy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fracture Field is a satisfying incremental mining game where you break through layers of rock with timed swings, then reinvest resources into upgrades, automation, and massive progression systems. The mix of active clicking and idle mechanics — especially with drones and prestige resets — creates a rewarding gameplay loop. The upgrade depth and steady sense of growth are its biggest strengths, though the grind can become repetitive in later stages. ⭐ Rating: 8/10 — Addictive and well-designed…

The mining and upgrading is pretty satisfying, especially once you start unlocking different drones and their combinations. The progression can feel a bit grindy in the middle though. Only thing really stopping me from rating it higher is the drones. Once you've got enough of them running, the game becomes almost completely AFK and there's not really much point in clicking anymore. Feels a bit weird going from an incremental…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a really outdated idler style. I dont recommend it - its just linear upgrade stuff and then prestige for linear bonuses.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this game is super fun and addicting to play but its too much of a difference in damage when you upgrade to a new rock. I could be one shotting a rock then when I upgrade it takes me a full minute to just break one stone. Another thing I noticed is that your pickaxe is super hard to upgrade. the difference in prices is ridiculous. it goes from about ten thousand dust to upgrade your pickaxe to 1million.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DON'T BUY IT. It's a total waste of time. Only play it if you have hours to kill. It has, by far, the worst progression system I've ever seen because it basically forces you to reset all your progress through at least two different skill trees, with one reset unlocking the other. Drones are a core mechanic, yet earning skill points is painfully slow. On top of that, the second type of reset wipes your progress every single time, making the grind feel completely pointless. the only reason i dont…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very prestige heavy incremental. And if you are seeing this before playing, make sure that you prestige whenever the game is even a bit slow in progression because it is designed with you prestiging MANY times in mind. I enjoyed it. It was different.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some strange criticism in these reviews. Two layers of prestige systems are completely normal for many idle games, nothing unusual here. The game has hold to click right from the start, so no need to destroy your mouse, and supports both active and passive play styles. Thematically I'd say it's a bit bland, but overall perfectly fine.

negative · AI labelView post →I enjoyed it for some time, but it's VERY, VERY slow; specifically, in the prestige 400 times way, which I'm not a fan of in incremental games. I'd give it a neutral if possible, but there's so many better incrementals out there at a similar price point that I can't recommend this.
