Enjoyed the game. However, I have some gropes to pick with it. The idea itself was really good. I love the format and the characters, but many of the characters feel too one dimentional. Every character acted exactly how you expected them to be from the moment you meet them. Without jumping into spoilers, no character surprised me except the LAST character we offically meet. The mid sections of the game feel more …

I've literally just started playing the game and expected a semi dark comedy judging by the preview screenshots. WELL OH BOY IS THIS DARK AS HELL. It got weird real fast and I cannot wait to see how much weirder it'll become. Wow. Just, wow. I had no idea what to expect when I started this, and I am blown away. The topicality, the fantastic writing, the menace and the elegance of the UI: this is an independent work of art and has my respect. I love a game with a good story, and the story in this game is so well thought out it amazes me. IMO, it really ups the replay-ability. Discovering details later in the game shines a new light on even the first couple scenes. This game is the perfect example of horror with a purpose, not just horror for the sake of horror. This game is one of the best I've ever experienced. It's incredibly dark yet deeply philosophical, prompting you to reconsider everything you believe about reality and the people in your life. While it’s essentially a fancy visual novel, it does include some puzzles and gameplay elements that keep things engaging. The story is absolutely worth every second spent on it. The ending I got was just spot on, and I can't …

Review by [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34633003-Gaming-Masterpieces/lists/] Gaming Masterpieces - The greatest games of all time on Steam. Is this game a masterpiece? No, but it is quite good nevertheless. You're new to a company where rather strange things happen. Where on earth have you ended up this time? I've asked myself that question about some of the companies I've started working for in recent years. But in reality, it's never been as bad as it is in Inhuman…

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect before playing, but the premise seemed right up my alley. I enjoy narrative games that pose questions related to (bio)ethics, corruption, capitalism, and such. When I found this game, I immediately was drawn in and excited to play. As of this review, I have streamed this game up to "Tuesday" after receiving 1/4 certifications needed to progress the story. I chose to head to the Futureproofing Department first and was unable to calibrate the visualizer to…

Wooow. Ok, first off, I LOVE games like this. There are so many fun ways to tell a story and this method is all too great imo. The music is nice, the writing was well and descriptive and the overall plot was fascinating. I knew I would love it based off of the preview and was hooked up until the very end. The plot twists may be a bit predictable once you catch on to the twists in this company, but it doesn’t lessen the impact imo. The puzzles were fun (I really loved the encryptology section!)…

First run through took roughly 8 hours. Perhaps I made a mistake assuming the game would play out a certain way given what the store page's trailer chooses to highlight. I had this idea that there would be many interesting puzzle-y sections sprinkled about, and while there are a few per chapter most of them served to bog down the experience for me rather than enhance it. The game boasts hundreds of potential story paths, but I find it difficult to convince myself playing a second time would…

I enjoyed this game a ton. Having played through two times, I feel that there's so much to see in the options you explore and how they color the narritive you experience. Even knowing the twist after my first playthrough, things happened that I didn't have before, options opened up, character portraits changed and I got to feel like I was finding new ways to be a part of the story. The art style is what initally sold me, I am a sucker for art deco and the designs of corporate pieces, and…

Have a 4th wall break from the game. -...That's reassuring to hear. But *fine* arts might be a bit of a hyperbole. After all, you're reading *this* story. A wonderful game. The characters are charming and believable, even the more monstrous one. Though my initial assumption was that this game is more choice-based than linear in its narrative, it still delivers a compelling storyline to experience. Each department head is compelling in their own way, but in my opinion, the time the player spends with each is a little short. Nonexistent, regarding a certain head you meet early on. I really enjoy text-heavy games, but this one was TOOOOO text heavy (and inevitably boring) for me. Between reading tons and tons and tons of text - would be nive to have some other interactive things to do. "Orwell" game is a good example of balancing things out, I think. Couldn't finish it because I was bored, although the topic and the concept were interesting, Maybe just not my cup of tea.

Excellent writing, the lack of images is covered by light, efficient descriptions of the environment. The writing is dynamic and even longer texts and documents are easy to breeze through thanks to the clever wordplay and twists. Humor and horror mix well, with even your most unexpected traits shining in bizarre moments. Rereading my review makes me feel like a journalistic salesman, but I think it stems from the respect I feel for this game, I haven't been hooked by a story in a while, and…

Firstly, this isn't a "game" as such, but a dense, and quite interesting visual novel. It's a great work of speculative fiction that tackles the complexities and contradictions of living in a post-truth world, where fact and fiction blur together very often. Fair warning that there is a LOT of blood and gore in it, and a darkly comic undertone running through it as well. I played the game when there were no guides, so I messed up a few of the more unique puzzles, though that didn't seem to stop…

This game’s narrative hooked me from the very first lines... Its richly drawn characters and emotionally charged dialogue make every moment feel alive. The branching story paths and well‐timed plot twists keep me engaged in the story. Definitely recommend!
