This is a tough one. The story and art are amazing. The combat is ridiculously difficult, and mostly a matter of luck if you win. I don't see any reason for really hard combat in a game of this style, so I can't recommend it.

An astonishing visual novel with turn-based combat mechanics, where you navigate the life of a superhero - Atom Eve. Balancing duty, family pressure, relationships, loneliness, and romance, all while trying to stay grounded and human.

This game is basically a re-telling of Invincible Season 1 from the perspective of Atom Eve. I like how they've added more depth to her character and allowed us to explore parts of her life, which we never saw much of in the show. As a visual novel, it's got ten comfortable chapters in a lovely comic book style that also features some nice turn-based combat. If you are a fan of the show, especially of Atom Eve's …

✅ Great story, explores Atom Eve’s origins with emotional depth. ✅ Comic-style visuals, captures the Invincible vibe perfectly. ✅ Simple but fun gameplay, mix of visual novel and turn-based combat. ✅ Good voice acting, adds to the immersion. ❌ Short playtime, ends too quickly. ❌ Limited replay value, choices don’t change much. Final Verdict: 8/10 – A solid spin-off with a great story, but a bit too short.

If you like the TV series you can't miss this game. You will play as Eve and you will explore the relationship with her family and all the members of the superhero team she is part of. The art style is great, the combat is good but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. The game doesn't last very long but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Recommended!

They send me from planet to planet committing atrocities in their name. And as I get better at it, they fear me more and more. I am a victim of my own success. Conquest. I don't even get a real name, only a purpose. I am capable of so much more and noone sees it. Some days I feel so alone I could cry, but I don't. I never do. Because what would be the point? Not…

neutral · AI labelView post →I don't have a lot to talk about here. Atom Eve is a pretty decent, albeit short game. Yep, I cleared the whole thing in ~4.5 hours. No, I didn't rush. The game puts more emphasis on the visual novel aspect than the combat. If you're expecting a complex turn-based rpg, look elsewhere. I approached most battles using the same strategy: just set up a personal shield early on, and manage my action economy 'til I'm able to pick something off & gain the upper hand in the fight. How was the…

I will preface this by noting that I've never watched Invincible or otherwise interacted with any Invincible media before playing this game (and, for those wondering, it turned out fine: I didn't require any Invincible knowledge to enjoy the game). While my reviews are spoiler-free, I can still talk a little about what to expect. The game is mostly about Eve's…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the prime example of why Mixed Reviews are needed for Steam. See, this isn't a bad game. Far from it. But it isn't good either. The gameplay is good, albeit without any structure. It's feels like a visual novel but with turn-based combat and a skill tree. Ok, that's kinda confusing, but the story is what ♥♥♥♥♥ the experience up. Universa appears in season one timeline wise for some reason, the Guardians murder and the Omni Man vs Invincible fight happen pretty much 5 minutes from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You play from the perspective of Eve from around the time before Invincible's debut until around the end of Season 1 TV series. Positives: - If you are a fan of Invincible, or Atom Eve, you get to experience her relationship with her family, teen teams, mark and friends. - Combat is simple but well balanced, fun and challenging at times, but it does get repetitive on your subsequent Playthroughs. - Game looks great visually most of the time - Game is verified and works great on steam deck…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a total blast. My only complaint (and it's a serious one) is that the game is disturbing in a "woke" way if that makes any sense. It almost seems as if the game handles various difficult issues such as teen sex, cheating, family abuse, death etc. in an almost frivolous way in order to appear edgy and progressive while some people like myself just can't process emotions associated with those issues so quickly and carelessly.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, the player takes on the role of Samantha Eve Wilkins, a teenage girl blessed/damned (dependent upon your personal take) with superpowers, and her hidden superhero alter-ego Atom Eve. In a story spanning ten chapters, Eve has to contend with typical teen issues including friendships, further education, the need for personal space from overprotective parents who can't let go, romantic inclinations, and of course, the inevitable supervillains hell-bent on ruining…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is a visual novel with simple turn-based RPG battles. The fights themselves aren't too challenging, I did lose a few, but all the bosses come with weaknesses and strategies to defeat them, once you've figured it out. The story is fantastic. If you've followed the Invincible comic or animated series most of the beats will be familiar. But told from a new point of view. The focus on Eve and her inner thoughts allows for a deeper look into the character, and she owns…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty cool visual novel in the invincible universe. I also really liked the music in this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Mark dating sim I never knew I wanted and I love it! I had a lot of fun living Eve's life, making choices that impact the story, and seeing how it made Eve interact with the other characters, the only complaint is that it was a bit short but for the price, it was well worth it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looking forward to see more games like this in Invincible universe. Maybe something like a DLC for this game about TV Show Season 2 events? Or something comic-based? Or even an original story? Anyway, this has great potential. Definitely a recommended game for Invincible fans
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →paid like 85p for it during sale, £8.50 isn't too bad but it feels a bit much for essentially a motion comic with some simplistic turn based gameplay my time is two playthoughs (one blind and another to grab remaining achievements) if you want more invincible go for it but keep your expectations low
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so fire if you like the invincible series. NGL, They should make a second one. CINEMA!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watched 3 seasons of animated show (all at the time of this review), but never considered a huge fan of series. Then got the game. It's all about reading. No voice acting. Very limited animations, it is just slightly interactive comic book. The beginning of the story does not fell catchy, beside bombing you with some familiar characters from the show. Be sure you got enough dedication before buying this game, otherwise it going to feel like a dumb cash grab. Planning to complete it…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game! I'm a MASSIVE fan of the animated series, yet to read the comics, and i really enjoyed the quality of the game. the comic book-like cutscenes are super fun and well animated. Yet to finish the game but seriously enjoying it so far, 100% worth the price to me.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a time killer. Just watch the show it doesn't add much.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good game for what its worth, if you enjoy the universe (comics, tv show, the mobile game ((god save you if you the mobile game)) ) its a good few hours. the story is nice, and they've put a lot of effort into it. Arts nice and the gameplay is a lot more thought out then i would have expected. It's not to complicated but its fleshed out enough for how long the game is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you're a fan of invincible, you'll love this game. i think it's especially cool how you're able to personalize eve's love life, since i know there's a lot of fans who wanted to see her with invincible when the show first came out. even though eve is already with mark in the show, this game gave fans of the show a preview of what that relationship would be like before we actually got it, which i think is really cool on skybound's part. i've always been a fan of their work, as well as robert…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First impressions: EXTRAORDINARY!! First off, I’m late to getting this game/story role play, also watched the show entirely and read the comics for the Invincible. I luvd it. If you guys luv the show or comics you will luv the game no doubt. No cons, everything is almost perfectly in order. Atom Eve is absolutely perfect and you get to choose how her lifestyle goes with Rex or Mark. Also a game like this is kinda like comic book which is absolutely why you should get it and it’s just satisfying…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made me want to rewatch the series, which is all I could've hoped for. For non-fans, though, I can't say.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It does such a good job at playing with emotions it has good humor and is a really funny moments, it can be actually scary, and sometimes it's adorable. But there's always traces of sadness, hurt and loneliness being everything it shows broken relationships and broken families from so many angles and for being a superhero content it really does an incredible job at capturing human emotions in a screen and sharing them with the viewer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is Visual Novel set in the Invicible comic universe. The story follows Atom Eve and seems to be a mix of original content and basic retelling of first parts of the comics (goes to about end of first season of the Amazon TV show adapation I think). There's also simple and fairly easy turn based combat mini-games in between the traditional VN gameplay. First playthrough will take about ~-4-5 hours, not a very long story. The story is split into 10 small chapters. A secondary playthrough…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Combat is repetitive, the choices you make don't matter much. After watching the series, the storyline the game offers seems redundant.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game literally wont even start keeps crashing and freezing at the startup credits, fix ur ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed the Invincible comics but haven’t gotten around to watching the show. I booted up this game and got a small section of the beginning of Invincible from Eve’s viewpoint. Honestly it felt boring to me. The combat is too simple and the choices in dialogue felt like it didn’t matter. Maybe I need to do another play through for the full experience but it doesn’t feel worth it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game! I got it at $3USD. A bit much asking for $10, but still a nice read. Short but sweet recap of pre/part of S1 in Atom Eve's perspective presented in a game format with a comic style. Was not expecting this game to exist, especially in a VN/skilltree/strategy format, but it's Invincible so this was a no brainer for an avid reader like me. I appreciate the comic style, journal recaps, "replay last scene" checkpoint option and the lil' NG+ points. I never lost (unless it was for…
