Players find Moldwasher a cute and cozy cleaning game with satisfying mechanics and charming pixel art. [1][2][3] Many reviewers note the game is very short, often completed in under two hours. [4][5][6] Some players mention bugs, such as items not spawning or getting stuck, and limited upgrade options. [5][6][7]

The game is interesting and cozy. The process of cleaning around the house is quite satisfying. But I have to say that the game is too short. I finished the game in 1.5h and spend 1h more to get all the achievements (fully upgrade all things and buy all stickers). The problem is that the game is overpriced. I thought there would be more levels and more tools, even a new map to explore, but the game just ends.

🍣 Moldwasher Review 🧽 Amazing little game with beautiful pixel art! Seriously, the artwork is gorgeous. I absolutely loved it, and it's incredibly well done. You play as a little nigiri on a mission to clean up all around a kitchen. It's cozy, fun, and really relaxing. The levels are brilliantly designed, with each one taking place in a different part of the kitchen. You'll be cleaning everything from different …

Moldwasher is a super cute and cozy 2D cleaning simulator where you play as an adorable piece of sushi on a mission to blast away mold and grime from a giant forgotten kitchen. Not only is the game progression very satisfying and the cleaning physics feel incredibly smooth, but controlling a little nigiri sushi with a powerful little washer gun is just delightfully charming all on its own. The gameplay loop is well …

Very fun game but incredibly short. There are many levels but they are all fairly short. I completed the game within 2 hours but not sure if the game is worth the $8 at its current length. I will say the game also does not give the 'cozy' feel due to the mold regrowth mechanic, cant really play the game in a chill way when you are rushing to get ahead of the the regrowth. To be fair the regrowth can be kind of …

Mold Washer is a short but satisfying cleaning sim where you blast away stubborn mold and grime in quick, focused sessions. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, and the core loop of spray → clean → reveal results feels surprisingly rewarding. You’re basically paying for that “ahhh, that’s clean” feeling on demand. If you like chill, simple games you can finish in bursts, it’s worth the price. If you want depth or story, …

60 of 328 · most liked firstHuge news: for the first time my artwork is on display in a published game! I recently found out that Moldwasher uses some of my assets purchased from my itch page. A bunch of the animals and gems I did can be seen in these screenshots. How cool 🤩
positive · AI labelView post →A decent little game, but very very short. I 100%'d the game in under two hours without really rushing. You run out of things to spend money on very quickly and only the first three tools have upgrades. I must say that part feels a little unfinished, but it's a good hour or so of chill fun. The music is decent too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but tedious: a game with potential, but lacking polish The game turned out to be short, but I still managed to get bored. While it has some cool moments, every single one of them comes with a downside. After completing it, I have no desire to recommend it to anyone. Overall, it feels like the game wasn't made from the heart, but rather as a contract job where at some point the developers were told, "Deadline is next week" so they just rushed to finish it so it would at least function.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chill and nice, but get it on sale. Pros: Very chill gameplay, cozy, great aesthetics. Responsive cleaning mechanics that make your movement seem meaningful. Nice music, cute art, lots of memes to lightly smile at when you recognize them. Cons: Very short. Maybe a tad too short. Could use a mouse sensitivity setting, specially if you can't tweak your own mouse -- tight movements mean you need plenty of breaks not to have your wrist hurt. Another big issue: there's extra goodies to get from…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved it and tried to bingeplay it out: every pc moment I went back to this one first cause I just couldn't stop and I didn't want to stop. Being a fan of the powerwash series one of my first thoughts was oooh they got competition, with this cute sushi dude and his tools. I'm already rooting for dlc's tbh, given a house is bigger then just the kitchen. From wine cellar to attic. I want it all <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I published a review of the game which can be found here: https://youtu.be/iJFHlRrycok PROS: - It played smoothly with pixel perfect precision - Great soundscape with the water flowing, flathrower, etc. - Banging lo-fi soundtrack - Simple pick up and play approach - Massaged my OCD - NO CRASHES CONS: - Some morsels of rice and other detritus sometimes do not spawn or get stuck in walls, forcing you to restart a level - Not all tools can be upgraded - Some hidden objects are bugged - A…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i knew from the beginning that I would like this game. THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE CUTEST COZIEST CLEANING GAMES I HAVE BEEN PLAYED! Plus, it doesnt make me dizzy and nauseous like other (example, Power Wash). and who can resist with this cute sushi? <3 edited: ive finished the story and got all the achievements. why is it so short? :'). i hope there will be an update for the next story/map. plsss make it happen! i cant waitttttttt....

neutral · AI labelView post →Super cute and fun game! I played the demo and had to get the full version. The nostalgic pixel art is really well done, and it’s especially fun playing as an adorable little piece of sushi. The level design is great too - while being cosy, it’s challenging enough to keep you engaged as you move around different parts of the kitchen through mould-washing tasks. I even found myself enjoying the fly! It’s also packed with cute collectibles like stickers, music, and VHS tapes that you can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moldwasher is a very good and adictive game where you play as a cute nigiri who's have to clean all the kitchen. Buy and upgrade your tools, buy and find some collectibles like stickers, VHS and CDs. The music is excellent and very chill and the pixels designs are nice. The only negative point is it's a little loo short. I highly recommend it! 🍣💗
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good game, but it's INCREDIBLY short. I was alt tabbed for part of my playthrough and completed it in 2.1 hours. $8 for 2 hours of gameplay? I mean, it's not the worst, but it definitely feels pretty bad by the end of it. I regret purchasing it, as I expected there to be more content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wrote a part of the soundtrack for this game. It's not the kind of game I usually play, but I found it oddly satisfying. Spent a lot of time playing it but wouldn't mind running through it again. The regrowth mechanic results in optimal and not-so-optimal ways to clean things and it is fun to explore. Also the game has some stupidly cute little surprise moments which made me smile. I think it's a nice wholesome experience (unless you decide to fry some bugs I guess...). I recommend it.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who knew a tiny piece of sushi with a pressure washer could bring this much pure joy? 🍣✨🌟 Moldwasher is the ultimate feel-good game. You get to zoom around as a cute little Nigiri hero, blasting away grime and leaving everything sparkling clean to the most relaxing lo-fi beats. It’s incredibly satisfying, hilarious, and instantly puts a smile on your face. The absolute best part? The frantic, precision 2D aiming weirdly reminds me of a wholesome, peaceful Liero Xtreme! Instead of…

neutral · AI labelView post →A fun little cleaning simulator with collectibles. There are 20? levels some have hidden items that you need to use specific tools to find. If you finish a level, you will see if it has a hidden item or extra cleaning. The job level has several levels itself, that you unlock by buying items from the gashapon. Make sure to pick up the extra items! They are black squares/circles. Also you can continue until you press space after a level, handy for some collectables. Stickers you can put on and…

neutral · AI labelView post →Since the massive success of Powerwash Simulator, I've seen plenty of cleaning games come and go, many explicitly trying to lazily cash in on the success of that series. However, thankfully Moldwasher really isn't like that and takes a different approach entirely. You play as a tiny piece of sushi, washing out mold and filth from gigantic environments. In addition to your powerwasher, you will unlock other tools as well such as the flamethrower. What I find really unique about this game is…

neutral · AI labelView post →Not enough content if you enjoyed the demo as much as I did. For the price, I can't complain TOO much; but it feels like if you played the demo you have already half finished the game. Whilst I like that your progress carries over from the demo, I swear I actually spent more time with said demo than the final game

neutral · AI labelView post →At the current discounted price of $8 I don't find it a long enough game for the price. 3 hours for a fun but repetitive function game at the price doesn't add up for me. I took longer too because it was streamed and I was interacting while playing. It's a fun little game but very short. It would be worth it for maybe $5 but that's all I could justify. There isn't much story and many maps are reused. I do appreciate how you can see the other maps while playing on one but it'd also be nice for…

neutral · AI labelView post →Moldwasher is a fun cleaning game with some cute quirks along the way. Though a bit short, I think that it offers a new style to the genre. The collectibles are fun and the levelling/rewards system works well. It's got good graphics and music, with fun characters throughout. I do wish there were some extra levels, as I had to grind a bit to get the last collectibles and it felt slightly tedious. That said, if you enjoy casual cleaning games, Moldwasher is worth the price to add to your list!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I beat in just under 90 minutes. Only have about half of the achievements though. It's fun! The only thing I wish it had was a way to upgrade the pickaxe/axe, they seem a bit slow. Its good though, very reminiscent of flash games.
