This game is like a good ol' fashioned anal probing: Very enjoyable indeed for the first few hours. Any longer, and you might start feeling a little worn out. This game is exactly what a remake should be. It's the exact same game we loved back in the day, but better optimized and much prettier to look at. No extra stuff added that we didn't want. No forced in political aganda (except for the ones that were there to begin with lol and just plain old fashioned fun. Even if you've never played the original, I would highly adviced checking this game out to see if it's for you.

Destroy All Humans! is an absolute blast from start to finish. The gameplay is just pure chaotic fun, whether you’re using telekinesis to toss humans around or causing destruction with your alien arsenal, it never gets old. The dialogue is genuinely hilarious, packed with sharp satire and over the top humor that actually lands. There’s a great variety of weapons and abilities to mess around with, and the saucer …

A phrase, or rather a unique term, that came to my mind while playing this was the very distinct brainworm: ALIEN MISANTHROPY. It is so nice to play a game that is so adamantly anti-human, but in a very laid back, humour-filled, comic way. A great stress relief and honestly, a fun perspective to take. Usually, anything extremely critical of human civilization tends to advocate for one belief system over another, but Destroy All Humans is rampant, colonial imperialism without a lot of the…

two words. Bad port. They didn't just bring the game to a new console. They redid it from scratch, and it is objectively worse. The camera is tight on your ass the whole time, making it feel like a third person shooter. They reduced the number of entities that can exist around you, as well as limiting the range of your powers and weapons considerably more than the original game did. They added challenges and a mission select screen, and made the whole thing generic and much less sandbox-y. I…

(100% Achievements Unlocked) This is a fun, short game that will keep you occupied for about 15 hours. Sadly, I've never played the original Destroy All Humans!, so I can't compare it to this remake. I will say this game is very easy, with only two or three of the challenges giving me any real difficulty. However, that is part of its charm, as the game simply wants you to have fun destroying things. There are around 7 or 8 locations, starting from a humble little farm and moving up to Area…

Classic player-empowerment, stress-relief game that I played the absolute hell out of on PS2. New graphics detract a little from the original vibe, but the gameplay is still there if not a little improved. From deathray-ing entire city blocks to chucking cows and puny humans across the map with your psychokinesis, Destroy All Humans! promises an absolute romp and delivers in spades.

I bought this game purely to relive a bit of my childhood from when I used to play it on the PS2. NOSTALGIA is honestly the best word to describe it. The premise and story are relatively simple, but I've always described this game in the simplest possible way: "That alien game." And honestly, that's all it needs to be :) Pure nostalgia. Definitely worth it if you grew up playing it.

NOT AN OPEN-WORLD GAME ANYMORE, IT'S A LINEAR MISSION-BASED EXPERIENCE. Free-roam is an afterthought, most new changes break the game. Boring details: Got the game for cheap in some bundle a while back and didn't really think about it since I had already beaten the game on PS2 over a weekend rental decades ago. As someone who thinks most remakes/remasters are dumb and lame I think this should be teh standard that all remakes should be held to: It backports mechanics and abilities from DAH 2, adds cut content, brand new original mechanics and overall plays like a brand new game. The game itself is like a GTA clone with a twist (youre an ALIEN WOAH). You blow stuff up, invader zim is constantly screaming on the radio you shove alien probes up people's rectums and make their heads pop and alltogether…

Rating: 5/10 -Mid This game was fun but kind of mid. You play as an alien in 1950s America and you need to collect human brains which is kind of a funny concept for a game. The army and the men in black try to stop you. You can disguise as humans and infiltrate certain places, hitman style. There's a plethora of weapons and upgrades. You can also enter your UFO and start lasering buildings until they explode like in the movies. Unfortunately, those explosions are pre rendered and were rendered…

For the Destroy All Humans! remake (2020) Black Forest Games did an impressive work to bring back the atmosphere of the 2005 original game. Here's an example with the "Blue Moon Drive-In" and "Bran Biscuits" billboards.

Fun until it throws back-to-back stealth missions at you with instant failure if you're spotted. Nah.

Just as fun and silly as I remember from my childhood when playing the original on the PS2. Seems to be a very faithful remake, some missions and sections are a little dull gameplay wise but overall it's a great game to switch off to and enjoy causing chaos. Plays great on Steam Deck too.

I think your enjoyment of this game is REALLY going to hinge on whether the humor works for you, because the game itself is kind of dull. I did enjoy the humor at first, but it quickly lost its edge with me, and I didn't find the gameplay interesting enough to force myself to finish the game.
