First of all, this game at its core is a lot of fun. I love the core mechanics and the wide variety of different tasks and ship designs. But don't buy this game if you want to play with friends. The multiplayer is a horrific bug fest. These problems have been known for years, and the developers seem to ignore them completely. Many bugs have existed since the game's release, and there has been no real response or …

**EDIT** Multiplayer issues still have not been touched. PLEASE FIX MULTIPLAYER! This game would be much more enjoyable if these issues were fixed. I still only recommend if playing single player. *ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW* I would recommend this game for single player because playing it on your own is fine. Trying to play this game in multiplayer is horrid. My boyfriend started playing this and I thought it looked fun …

Really satisfying and surprisingly relaxing. Scrapping old ships, salvagingparts, and upgrading your gear is addictive, and there's something oddly satisfying about tearing a huge ship apart piece by peice. The gameplay can get repetitive, but if you enjoy chill, hands-on simulation games, this is definitely worth trying

This is a pretty fun game overall, technical issues aside. It's an enjoyable and time-consuming game, where you take apart ships, gather resources, fulfill contracts relating to each ship, and buy upgrades for your tools and your house. The technical issues are pretty considerable though. The game tends to get overwhelmed when you have a lot going on, and will freeze or crash on certain ships pretty easily. The …

If you like being methodical, seeing progress being made, solving simple puzzles and getting rewarded then this is a great game. Its not hard at all, and requires patience and figuring out orders of operation. My ADHD thrives on this type of game when I'm feeling overwhelmed and need something simple to refocus on.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has some good concepts, but like most Playway - published games, it usues their typical "hype and dump" strategy for video games - get a good idea for a game, don't finish making it; instead spend time on making DLC instead of addressing critical bugs; dump all efforts being made on the game once it has made enough money. I not only cannot recommend this game, I strongly advise that you avoid EVERY game published by Playway. Yes, I've seen how many hours I've spent on this game. I did,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've put a ridiculous number of hours into Ship Graveyard Simulator 2. Why am I, a white collar guy from a developed country, spending hours pretending to be a Sri Lankan with one of the worst jobs in the world? It's bizarre when you think about it.
positive · AI labelView post →still having fatal crashes. game never got fixed and they have a 3rd on the way. hope people dont fall for it a 3rd time.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of the game is so great, the first few ships with a friend where so much fun but the fact that coop is so buggy and broken ruins it a lot And then you go to the discord and find that it has been broken since medio 2025, why make a ship graveyard 3 if number 2 is a broken game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crashes way too much. I even tried to follow the steam community nerd recommendations to fix it and it still happens like once an hour. Other than that, game is pretty fun, just not fun enough to deal with all the crashes and constantly losing progress. It can't autosave during the crane operation, so if you get unlucky and get a crash during a bunch of crane stuff, you lose all that progress.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer hopelessly broken. Since it was implemented. Devs could care less, they are more concerned will shipping overpriced low content DLCs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recently starting playing with a friend in multiplayer. The game is great in single player but on the multiplayer side is plagued with syncing issues, tools don't work properly, often the clients cant swap tools and need to click the "Click if you're stuck" button. The developers continue to release DLCs for the game while not fixing core gameplay mechanics. I do not recommend purchasing unless you intend to play solo.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is a great initial rush in Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 when you finally upgrade your gear enough to step onto a massive new ship, and I really respected that you can't completely dismantle vessels down to nothing. That design choice gives the yard an authentic, heavy-duty feel, but the gameplay loop fails to evolve alongside your gear. Before long, working on different ships stops feeling like a new puzzle and starts feeling like breaking down the same exact ship in a slightly different…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to supplement space engineers and hard space ship breaker with this ♥♥♥♥. Never again. Avoid at all costs. Playway is a monopoly of ♥♥♥♥ games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 34 hours I can say I would not recommend. The game itself is interesting at first but quickly becomes repetitive with not much of a progression since the first mission has all the gameplay mechanics of all the other missions. Its one of those you play one mission you have played them all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little grinding and cutting game for taking apart ships. If you just want something to sit an click, this is a good option. the base game has a lot of content to make it challenging, but not so difficult that you would lose interest. co-op play is ok, there is a Sync issue where if I have started a ship and a friend joins. they see parts that you have already removed. they don't exist to the other user, but it can make it difficult as it will block views and cause them to fall through…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get me wrong I like playing this with my friends, but I honestly can't recommend it to anyone else for several reasons. 1st the game is not polished or stable, there's lots of bugs and some things are just plain broken. 2nd the online is the worst part of this game, not only are the loading times insanely long, like up to 10min when a friend is joining, but also no one can join a ship in progress. So if you don't finish the ship in 1 session, which can take 4 hours plus,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely got my moneys worth. Took me 425 hours to complete all of the achievements. That includes clearing the Titan(ic) twice to find the special item. Very enjoyable game. You do the same thing over and over again but I found it very satisfying to scap some of these massive ships down to the keel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bugs. So. Many. Bugs. This game wasn't developed to play, it was made to grab cash. It crashes if you look at it wrong, It's way too buggy to have this many paid DLC, and there hasn't been an update since September. The performance is horrible, and it ain't my machine. It feels like the dev(s) learned how to program some surface reacts and then bought a bunch of pre-made assets. Boom, you have a game. I don't think they'll ever be able to fix it, both due to lack of technical skill and because…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really do like this game as a idea but the developers instead of fixing the game you have already bought they just make a new one this game has so many issues and is very monotonous I would not buy it again
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a pleasant surprise. I played the original Ship Graveyard Simulator, and I liked it. It wasn't ground breaking or anything. Just a cool little game to pass the time with, and it actually became one of the few games where I have unlocked all achievements. I bought Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 expecting more of the same. In fact, I didn't think I'd get through the game if the dynamics were the same as the original, so I only purcahsed the bas copy. I very quickly learned that…

neutral · AI labelView post →I was honestly excited for this game. I enjoy games like this. I keep getting the fatal error code. I changed the DirectX like the game suggest and then I will go back into the game and then I'll get the fatal error code again. I'd switch the DirectX again and again, fatal error. It's extremely frustrating. Feel like a waste of money at this point. I see they are releasing Ship Graveyard Sim 3 sometime so I'm assuming they won't be a fix for this. Hopefully the 3rd one doesn't always crash.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decently fun, love that I have the option to either be a sensible person and use the tools given to me as they're intended or be the feral rat I am and just go hitting all the rivets and kick a wall just for the entire thing to come down
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game keeps crashing constantly, no matter if it's DX11 or DX12. No saves in between, annoying. I have not seen such a buggy game in a long time. I would refund if I could but I spent too much time in the options menu while being away.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have dismantled many ships over hundreds of real-time hours. Why? Because it was fun for me. I could zone out and picture myself in Alang trying to make a living if I survived the dangers. This game had the potential to go much further than pure ship-breaking (maybe ship graveyard III) but I was happy to grind and make the achievements. The Devs were quick to fix any problems along the way (usually before I came across any) and the game was always smooth for me with my mid-tier PC. I recomend…

neutral · AI labelView post →The concept of the game is good. However I have had to reset game several times as it will not allow you to finish ships as it says remove all connectors. I have done this and still will not allow me to move on. Instead of building a new version for people to spend money on, they should fix this game. Do they really think we are stupid enough to buy the new version when they cannot be bothered to fix this game once they have our money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a broken buggy mess, do not get it. Multiplayer is bugged to hell, it's constantly trying to "synchronize" which results in pieces bugging out and requiring multiple restarts to fix. Worst of all the game will keep running after you close it so you stack up tons more hours than you actually have. I have maybe 18 hours of this trash and only recently caught it doing this. The gameplay is monotonous (not in the fun way), there's BS mechanics to drag out gameplay (Radiation can kiss…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Obviously with almost 200 hours I do enjoy this game and highly recommend it. But I doubt I will purchase Graveyard Sim 3. Instead of developing a whole new game why not keep improving the current one? Add regular updates, open it up for mod creation and expand the map are just a few suggestions. What about multi player and daily or weekly challenges? Maybe instead of the ships just appearing you have to go out to locate and arrange to get them back to the yard. With such a great concept and…

neutral · AI labelView post →I was really excited to play this game and I enjoyed what I did get to play of it. The game crashes are becoming out of hand. I've tried changing the directX in steam like it recommends with no change to performance. I also have the graphics turned way down and that doesn't make a change either. I'm leaving a bad review just for the stability alone. They fix the crashes this game would be worth it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sorry, but it just keeps crashing. Pity as it's a game I enjoy but finally giving up.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this studio could have used some more experienced developers on staff, SGS 2 is just amateurish. Had the making of a nice ASMR-type game which they ruin with all these stupid gotcha's that are just irritating rather than clever. Also, as others have said, the mini-game to sort the scrap is just plain rubbish and totally unnecessary. Full of visual bugs - and speaking of visuals the art style is best described as crude. The fact that they've moved on to SGS 3 rather than polishing…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is a pretty neat simulator. It's got a similar theme to a simulator I really loved (Hardspace Shipbreaker where you dismantle space ships). Here you dismantle water ships. You upgrade your various tools as you go along in order to dismantle the various systems of increasingly complex ship structures. The game scratches that mindless itch for me to dismantle large objects (LOL). But it's somehow just NOT QUITE enough of a challenging puzzle. Like, there are some hazards to find on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have completed likely the last (free) dlc of Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 and now I try to sleep again
positive · AI labelView post →While it might be fun to play for a while, there is no skill involved at all and the gameplay is extremely repetitive. Just nice to play sometimes whenever you feel like chilling. I find the concept very interesting, however, and I won't deny that it can be fun if you like ships and just want to relax a bit. There is quite a lot of bugs, especially regarding the truck (everytime I run into a wall or slightly touch anopther object, it gets blocked and I need to reload the save). Definitely buy…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny how after launching $47 in dlcs to their $25 game and launches on several platforms, with little improvement to performance or the horrible multiplayer situation, they announced they are working on a 3rd game. I stopped buying dlcs a few releases ago and I will for sure not give them any more money for a new game aswell. Greedy.

neutral · AI labelView post →Welp, took me 276 hours to complete the main game and all DLC / achievements. Now I wait for Plane Graveyard Simulator... I mostly enjoyed this game QUITE a bit. VERY relaxing and it scratched the same itch as mining in Minecraft, which I oddly enjoy doing. The "mostly" part is for the few levels that would NOT drop pieces with the games gravity. I have a pretty damn beefy laptop. This game should NOT run as slow as it does at times or have these types of issues. I am hopeful…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have scrapped the huge ship in Ship Graveyard Simulator 2. I can rest now.
positive · AI labelView post →I have done the washing up. If you're curious the reasons I have been procrastinating this Voyager book the reasons are as follows: 1. I got into Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 (I have now done all the dlc and upgraded everything again) 2. This Voyager book has a lot of concurrent plotlines.
positive · AI labelView post →After spending yesterday napping or playing Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 it is so nice to return to Voyager. I relate so much to Seven Of Nine's frustrations with how she can see what seems the logical way to do things but being hampered by Interpersonal issues.
positive · AI labelView post →I just woke up after a long nap. I feel tired still. I've made cheese toasties. I'm going to drink the inferior coca cola diet coke and play Ship Graveyard Simulator 2
positive · AI labelView post →By the way I have now scrapped most of the Titan in Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 and I now have cramp in my right hand. I'm going to make a cheese toastie
positive · AI labelView post →I'll preface this by saying that this is not a game for everyone. It does lack for optimisation, meaning sometimes the loading and saving times can chug along, and yes, the gameplay is quite repetitive. However, for people who just want to turn their brains to cruise control, and have visceral and visual results of smashing things up, this can be enjoyable. I have many hours racked up, going through spates of clearing out ships, as I find it therapeutic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Constant crashing, No wonder it was discounted, Not worth it. Played it so I could demolish ships but after less than 10 hours; the error 66 and another error when using the crane. I don't ever get the crashing errors on the first game but the second more than 40 times already. Do not buy this game unless you want to do the crashing challenge. I don't believe after two years the devs even considered fixing this error.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is it buggy? A bit. Does it crash? Occasionally. Smooth performance? Eh, it can chug the framerate quite a bit on bigger ships. Will it yeet you over the horizon when you accidentally get too close to the magnet? Probably. But none of this is to the extent it's game breaking IMO. It's still a good, chill time of slowly tearing a big thing to bits, one bonk with a hammer at a time. Take the bugs as a laugh, they're nothing a position reset or a reload won't fix, and relax. It's a good…
