Players describe it as a relaxing hidden-object game where you find cats in a building. [1][2][3] Many praise the cute art, cozy atmosphere, and support for real cats. [4][5][6] Some note it is short, with a playtime of about 30 minutes to an hour. [7][8][9]

It is a cute hidden-object game where you explore a building and find cats hidden throughout its different rooms and apartments. The main gameplay involves working through five floors, along with some secret areas, and finding more than 300 cats, including secret and hidden cats. Each floor has uniquely themed apartment-style environments, and the goal is simply to look around carefully and click on the cats you …

A Short and Relaxing Hidden Object Experience A Building Full of Cats is exactly what its title promises: a building full of cats waiting to be found and petted. As with many games developed by Devcats, the focus is not on difficulty or lengthy gameplay sessions, but rather on creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience that can be completed at your own pace. The objective is simple, the controls are intuitive, and …

If you love cats, you'll love this game. The art is beautiful, the kitties are so cute and finding them throughout the various floors is very enjoyable. This game has a special place in my heart, thank you for supporting the kitties <3

One of the coziest games ever. The premise is very basic, find the hidden kitties in a set of nice painted rooms, all part of a building with 6 floors plus some additional extra small rooms. If you are struggling there's a free rechargable hint that will pinpoint exactly where one of the cats is. There's no penalties for spamming clicks everywhere. The developer even included a very nice remake and you can play the …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In A Building Full of Cats, you're tasked with locating and petting every cat in five diverse apartments, an uncluttered rooftop, a hilarious Fallout-inspired bunker, and the various menus. Devcats' first hidden objects game isn't as polished as their other titles, but offers a solid ~45 minute challenge, chill music, and plenty of adorable cats. I am never getting over the cat-shaped gas mask. As always, a fraction of the proceeds is donated to help shelter cats. Follow…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice Art, Cute Cats. I played A Building Full of Cats a while back and recently the Devcats gave this a remake as a free update, which is nice. I naturally came back to the game to complete the new achievement they added for playing through the remake. You have the option to play the game with the old or new art style. The new style is the same as the free game, Flats Full of Cats, which also looks nice. Both games are more of the same relaxing find hidden stuff genre. This game is great…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →These aren’t exactly exploration games, but they’re simple games that my toddler likes too: - Animal Crossing is easily her favorite. She loves “helping” my wife pick outfits and fish. - A Building Full of Cats is short, cheap, and cute. She likes making up stories about each apartment and cat. There’s also tons of similar games in different locations. - Cats in Time has simple puzzles that she can do with a bit of help. - Slime Rancher might be a good fit. It’s simple and cute with a focus on…
positive · AI labelView post →Such a cozy little hidden object game, and very relaxing on Steam Deck! It's the absolute best way to unwind for an hour or two by hunting down all the sneaky felines hidden around the building. The art style is super charming, even if the gameplay is pretty straightforward. Totally worth grabbing on sale if you just want to zone out and vibe.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game that started this great series. It's charming though very short. You can get all the achievements in about 30 minutes, or maybe even less. I'm currently running it idle to collect the rest of the card drops.

positive · AI labelView post →Today's cute game is A Building Full of Cats. The title basically explains it. You visit each floor of a building and pet all the cats. You've spent $1.99 on sillier things, I guarantee it store.steampowered.com/app/1969080/...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The ultimate hide-and-seek for bored cat lovers! As a cat lover, this hidden object adventure scratched all my curiosity itches and kept me happily pawing at the screen whenever I needed something fun to do. I LOVE that the devs included their own cats in the game. And the idea of sharing our own fur babies to be featured in future games is simply the cutest, nyaaa~! 🐾😻

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, there are some cats here. A real treat for an observant child or to relax with a cup of tea on a rainy afternoon. Highly imaginative and a tiny bit devious, the developers have a hidden agenda and a love for the antics of our furry feline friends. Double bonus for those that have already purchased the game with a rejigged remix to satisfy even the most relentless. Good luck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Charming HO (or rather HCat) game, can be fully completed in just under an hour.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good hidden cat game, cozy, cute, and not overly complicated. I think I prefer this to some of their later games even. Also like that there isn't a 'human bad, cat good' perspective, which really irks me as lazy writing and forced morality lesson
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shortest of these games I've played. Good if you want a quick game to 100%
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Devcats take hidden cat games to a whole other level, and actually help cats in real life while doing it. Phenomenal games and devs in general! Best hidden cat games out there. Finished? Yes Steam Achievements? Easy Steam Deck? Perfect! positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →💯 A Building Full of Cats Another hidden objects game about finding kitties, this time in an apartment building. Once again there is a flimsy story connecting your exploration of the different rooms but in the end, you don't really need a story for a game like this.
neutral · AI labelView post →A Building Full of Cats is a lovely hidden cat game with gorgeous illustrations and plenty of charming details to discover. Each floor of the building has its own theme and atmosphere, making it fun to explore the different rooms while searching for hidden cats. I particularly loved the artwork added in the 2026 update, which is beautifully detailed. I also really liked Fofino, a little cat you can find throughout the building. His presence adds a cute touch to the experience, especially with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a wholesome game. It has so many beautiful little awareness themed touches. After playing it I checked out their other games too and they're amazing. Also, the fact that this game was made by cats makes it even better lol.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a cute game about finding cats in different environments.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Managed to 100% the game in about an hour, but it was a good time. It has all of the Devcats charm, despite being one of their older titles. Definitely worth picking up. The only thing missing is an option to zoom in. Some of the cats are very small and difficult to spot, so on Steam Deck you'll probably need the magnifier (hold the STEAM button and LB at the same time. You can still interact with cats in this state). Have fun! It's worth going for all the achievements in this game in order to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't expect for this game to be that fun, honestly usually I dislike hidden objects type of games, but as long as you have to search for kitty cats, it 100% worth it! Fun experience, nice point shop items!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The hidden object games from these developers are always such a joy to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another lovely Full of Cats game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's others in this series that have a bit more going on, but in fairness they were made after this title. That all being said, this is still a good, fun little game what supports some indie devs and a good cause. Well worth the buy, especially via a bundle on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A-mew-sing game I had really mice hours with this game. It was purrrfect for a lazy afternoon. A welcome distraction from the cat-hastrophe I call life. So I decided to paws for a while and look for some cats in a building. What a pawsitive furprise it was. Usually I'm not a cat purrrson, but this was a furbulous experience. Absolute meowgical!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast to finish - but not in a bad way. The art is beautiful. The soundtrack is great. Really enjoyed looking for all the cats; especially the ones that were hiding. Very clever placements. I appreciate that it doesn't get you to the point where you get frustrated to find that last one and then give up and find a guide.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super cute!! I wish it was a little longer, since I was able to complete it and get all achievements in 40 minutes, but for the price I really can't complain :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another game I picked up to not only support a good cause, but also play whilst I have a podcast going in the background. It's short and sweet, just like this review.
