Players find the game relaxing and charming, with a retro arcade aesthetic. [1][2][3] Some reviewers note that DLC is needed for full completion, which they consider a drawback. [4][5][6] The game is praised for its clever references and hidden object puzzles. [7][8][9]

I have two small complaints about this game: - The DLC is required to get 100%, if you're like me that will try pretty hard to get the 100% in a game, of course I had to buy it, but price and content wise it is worth it, plus you're helping a great cause by doing so. - Some of the cats are way too hidden in a way that are almost impossible, summing up that sometimes the game is way too detailed, I had to use hints …

An Arcade Full of Cats takes the familiar, cozy hidden-object formula of Devcats and wraps it in a vibrant wave of 80s and 90s gaming nostalgia. Set inside a time-traveling arcade, your task is to explore neon-drenched retro game rooms, CRT screens, and classic arcade cabinets to locate dozens of hidden felines scattered across different gaming eras. The standout appeal of this entry is its thematic charm and …

This game is pure cozy vibes. It feels like stepping into a neon-lit arcade… except it’s full of cats. The gameplay is simple and relaxing, perfect for unwinding without any pressure or stress. The retro-style music is a huge highlight — catchy, nostalgic, and sets the mood beautifully. It pairs perfectly with the visuals and gives the whole experience a laid-back, old-school charm. If you’re looking for something …

Review: An Arcade Full of Cats An Arcade Full of Cats is a charming and relaxing hidden object game that combines nostalgia, light humor, and—of course—adorable cats. As a fan of casual games, I found this title to be a delightful way to spend a few hours. What I liked: Art Style and Theme: The pixel art is colorful and full of retro arcade charm. Each level is inspired by classic video games and pop culture, which …

Arcade full of cats is by Devcats. I think finding cats is pretty fun. Cutscenes are fun. The maps are the best. But, half the maps are DLC. So, you need to buy to play the remaining maps. Arcade Full of Cats, developed by Devcats, is a casual hidden-object game that blends light puzzle mechanics with a strong focus on visual charm and accessibility. At first glance, it presents a simple objective—find all the cats …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Journey Through Gaming History... with Cats By now, Devcats has become one of those studios whose games I can pick up knowing almost exactly what kind of experience awaits me: relaxing gameplay, hidden cats, charming artwork, and a few hours of stress-free entertainment. An Arcade Full of Cats follows that familiar formula, but adds an element that I found particularly enjoyable: a journey through the history of video games. A Love Letter to Gaming Eras Rather than keeping the action…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I managed to finish off An Arcade Full of Cats and that makes game 19 completed. I can barely focus on a story based game. So thought I would play a hidden cats game instead
positive · AI labelView post →Good afternoon friend!! I've been playing An Arcade Full of Cats and it's just so stinkin cute! Please if you haven't already, pick this cozy game up it's free on steam 😻
positive · AI labelView post →The Vibrant Curious Cat Finder Another cat seeking game to unwind to from the Devcats. This one wasn't the latest in the series, but it is still nice to relax to. I enjoyed searching for tuna cans and confused kittens. I think I played through all of their cat theme games now and they are all basically more of the same. As they release newer games, the art style changes and looks better with every release. The base game is free to play and there's one paid DLC that adds new time periods and…

neutral · AI labelView post →I have just played a Hidden Cats game. Why? Because some of my Steam friends did. And yes, if my friends jumped off a bridge, I might well too. What if it looked like fun, eh? Stop trying to stop me from having a good time, mom. Partially for wordcount, I gotta describe what's going on. Skip this paragraph if you know, either way I'll keep it short: Each scenario is a big, monochromatic doodle. There are any number of cats that are part of the doodle, so zoom in, squint a bit, pan…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat and polished find the cats game. There's not really a lot of innovation respect to previous titles. Game loop is enter a new scene with gradient colored backgrounds and find all these little cats hiding everywhere. There's also additional items and even subscreens with more stuff to find. The setting here is arcade games, you will be travelling in the Delorean from Back to the Future to different arcade times. Expect a ton of gaming references with puns related to cats. From old…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I find all of these games nice and relaxing, but what impressed me with this one especially was the final puzzle! It's a point and click style game and it was really neat and different! I like all of the effort put into this. And I kind of can't believe it's free. A lot of content to suck you into the world of cat-clicking.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →These kind of games are a nice addition after a long hard day. You dont take long and you can watch a movie on a tablet or hear a podcast. Really relaxing and the DLC will be bought by me on the Steam Winter Sale so I hope to get this game to 100%.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2025 arcade is just chef...cats kis...lick! Devcats games are just purrfection.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to the future meowww :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a pretty fun and relaxing game. If you're bored and no other interesting games to find, i highly recommend this game. 👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, but feels less polished than other titles by the same devloper and I wouldn't recommend it over the other entries. "A Tower Full of Cats" and "A Castle Full of Cats" are more worth your time in my opinion. I'm trying not to be too harsh because I love this series, but this is probably the weakest entry, which is strange because it's newer than some of their better works. I'm guessing because it's free? The added DLC levels where you time travel to the past are much better and quite…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a simple hidden object game with catchy music. Sometimes , I come home from work and just want something simple to relax with. This game brings me peace and happiness for a few hours. I like to challenge myself to find as many hidden cats/objects at first glance before zooming in. There is a hint button if you do get stuck. I bought the base game and then went back for the dlc because I really enjoy it. To me, it's the Purrfect (not sorry) cozy game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute concept, and I appreciate the pro-adoption message. But after two rounds, I can't play this game. It may just be my eyes, but I cannot look at a microscopic, hopeless little squiggle and interpret that as part of a cat. It's worst in the mini-games where the contrast is simply awful. Anyway. Good effort, guys; I'll try some future release.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so fun! The ending is beautiful! 10/10 This is a cat lover essential!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy helping cats and solving hidden puzzles, this is the game for you! Clever puzzles that aren't just find-the-X, lots of personality, fun, retro aesthetic, AND the developers are donating to cat rescue! Great game, great cause!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would totally recommend this game, it's a short and sweet story with a very calm feel to it. The game play doesn't get boring after a few rounds as you never know where the next cat is, it could be hidden or in plain sight. The DLC for the full game is very cheap and the proceeds go to a good cause. Although it is a short game that I was able to 100% in one sitting I could definitely see someone playing this over a few days or weeks and would definitely recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a purrfect game! The art was so cute; all of the cat puns and cat references to other games were fantastic! Some of the interactable hidden cats were a bit challenging to find because it was sometimes hard to tell what you can interact with and what you couldn't but wasn't anything to frustrating and you could always use a hint. Overall it was a great way to relax and such a cute game that i thoroughly enjoyed playing! I even bought the dlc for it which was worth the money. 10/10 would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty decent hide n find game with cute graphics and some pretty well hidden cats. It's free but locks you out unless you buy the additional DLC half way through. A little frustrating that they didn't just make a free version and then promo paid versions because you cant 100% complete the game since you can't beat any more levels. Still good little game that you can play for free.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cozy game, that's what I need =)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →12) An Arcade Full Of Cats 🎮 Finished? ✅ Another Full Of Cats game which I adored! There were some genuine head scratchers in this one; I had no idea how they managed to hide so many cats. Such delightful art, and a thoroughly relaxing game 🥰
positive · AI labelView post →PROS: Stunning art style with beautifully designed levels and excellent color choices. Tons of easter eggs hidden throughout the game. Clever puzzle design where you often solve smaller puzzles as part of a larger one. Fantastic soundtrack that perfectly complements the relaxing atmosphere. Cute and charming sense of humor. Progress is saved automatically, allowing you to leave and continue later without losing your work. Helpful hint system for when you get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The basic cats I felt were incredibly boring to find, no real work at all. I didn't even have to zoom into the picture for most of them. The hidden cats? absolutely the worst. The game expects you to just randomly click on stuff with sometimes no hint as to where the cat is. I don't want to spend the game clicking on random things...i want to find cats...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I started playing An Arcade Full of Cats last night and on the first one was missing 3 cats. So, I said "I don't know if I'm just blind or?" Which led to like all 6 or 7 friends in VC to watching the stream and then downloading the game themselves and delaying us all playing Lethal Company by 2hrs.
neutral · AI labelView post →While this game has good potential it is buggy. The mario block hidden cat was broken, would not register being clicked on. Plus i had to Ctrl Alt Del to even close the game. Glad it was free. Waste of time. :\

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was my first hidden cats game experience. I loved the illustrations and use of colour. The mini games hidden in each level were also fun. The retro synth-y soundtrack was cool. This game made me decide to purchase the other hidden cat games by the same developers. It's sweet that they have a mission to help homeless cats in real life.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute cats. That's it that's all you gotta know to play it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely adorable! I can see that the devs did put quite the effort into it with the art, references and music and much more! A very cozy game, totally bought the dlc to finish it! Loved it! 100% recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#2026gameaday Day 57 - An Arcade Full of Cats Very cute hidden object game with a storyline! It's free, and definitely worth the time!
positive · AI labelView post →Quite a surprise value wise in the world of free hidden object games. There are five main scenes spanning from 1980 to 2000, each with a sub-scene of their own in an arcade cabinet that can be unlocked by finding the coin in their respective year. The background music is very good and changes with the scenes to be more year appropriate and with enough oomph to notice but not too much to distract. Each scene has the normal cats to find but also some even more "hidden" ones that can be activated…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great free, chill game to play when bored. There's zero stress or urgency, so you can just play and relax
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a myriad of cute and quick hidden cat games, and this series is one of the best quality out there in this genre :) Would recommend to any player who enjoys games like Ever Seen a Cat :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! This is a search game where you need to find all the cats, however there is a story to it, multiple levels and other things you also need to search. The effort and heart that went into this game can be seen as soon as you start playing. The graphics are really nice and the cats are well hidden. Overall a great game to play. I have played most of the games from this developer and they are all great games to play. Please help support this dev.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An ode to the rise and fall of arcades as seen through the eyes of 2 time-traveling kitties. It's wonderfully nostalgic and a little bittersweet. The base game is pretty generous for something free, and the DLC expands the journey with even more eras to explore.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"An Arcade Full of Cats" is the casual cozy game for cat lovers everywhere! Levels full of cute and clever references, time travel through the cat-ified history of gaming, and of course; many, many hidden cats to be found! I am addicted and enthralled, and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys hidden object games and cats!
