Players find it a relaxing and enjoyable hidden-object game with a cute story. [1][2][3] Many appreciate the depth, including unique cat poses, a boss fight, and puzzles. [4][5][6] Some reviewers dislike the timed boss fight and short length. [7][8][9]

As a cat lover, I was immediately interested in this cute hidden-object game, and it turned out to be a fun and relaxing experience. It is a cozy hidden-object adventure about rescuing cursed cats from a magical castle. The main gameplay is searching through rooms to find hidden cats. Some cats are easy to find, while others are cleverly hidden inside objects like books, boxes, drawers, and decorations. I enjoyed …

Most hidden object games are kind of basic, where you get a large canvas with a bunch of hidden things in it. This one actually surprised me! It's incredibly well done and has so much attention to detail and love in it! Every little cat that is hidden, has their own unique pose which changes when you find them, adding a bit more character to them! There are a lot of different rooms and themes, an actual story, side …

Addictive! Everything in this game feels so rewarding. Every cat you click on not only pops out in color but also changes its pose or expression. It's so cute and artistic! There are a few more things to search for beyond the literal hundreds of cats alone. It can be a pretty brutal challenge trying to uncover all the secrets, but it never disappoints. There's even a beautifully done and hilariously referenced boss …

A Castle Full of Cats, is a rather short but pleasant and relaxing experience, it's simple premise of find all the hidden item's is nothing unique but that doesn't take away from any of the enjoyment I had playing! It's a great game to fill the void or simply allow yourself to just shut off for a while. Overall it's a solid game that delivers exactly what it sets out to achieve and it's 100% worth the time it take's …

I love it! It's a pretty relaxing game... well, until you can't find the last damn cat. Actually, on second thought, can I even call it a relaxing game if I needed a guide to get all the achievements? In any case: 10/10!

98% of the 197 Steam reviewers we collected recommend A Castle Full of Cats. The complaint that keeps coming up: timed boss fight is stressful. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

However, A Castle Full of Cats will always occupy a special place in my memory for one very important reason: It was my first Devcats game. While I've since completed many other titles from the studio, this is the game that introduced me to their unique style…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really liked this one. Cute story as you progress, and finding hidden cats was even turned into a boss fight. Definitely recommend if you like HOGs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have a lots of fun playing this I'm playing as lily here a detective cat and I was rescue all the cats including fofiño finding all of them is really challenging so check it out :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Think I messed something up scheduling more stuff, so enjoy the remaining A Castle Full of Cats clips before the next game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unlike most hidden cat games, this one actually gives you a lot of cats to find. In fact there are multiple areas. You can actually explore the castle and each area has it's own amount of cats to find. There is an actual boss fight as well. I usually don't like buying these types of games because they are lackluster, but this one delivers and I would argue is actually worth the purchase over any other ones. There is so extra stuff after you beat it, but like all the other games of this genre,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was the first "A Full of Cats" games I played and I was genuinely surprised at how many actual gameplay elements there are in this game beyond "look at detailed lineart drawing and click on the cute cartoon cats". There's some fun puzzle-solving here! Heavily appreciate the extended Castlevania reference.

positive · AI labelView post →A Castle Full of Cats (2022) A castle full of cats is a point and collect hidden objects game where you need to find all the cats in and around the castle. The cat Fofiño fell under a dark curse and turned all the cats into evil and cute versions of themselves and its up to Lily to save them all with some help along the way. Plenty of rooms to explore with cats and hidden items to be found, it will keep you busy for a few hours. On the devs website they say and I quote "We're 6 rescued…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →about 1.5 hrs to 100%. it's just hidden objects with cats.. mostly the same cats in various poses. final boss has a timed element which is obnoxious. some cats are hidden in objects so there's a lot of unnecessary clicking on things that have very small hit boxes. it's fine, if you like this kind of thing. for me it's a 5/10. maybe +1 for the cat costumes in the party scene.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay Genre: Seek-and-find Story Genre: Horror? Pseudo-horror? Spooky? Story/Gameplay Ratio: 1:5 **Gameplay** Ideas: 2/10 | It's just a seek-and-find. Execution: 5/10 | I don't much like the fact you have to find all the QoL stuff instead of starting with it, but it's not too obtrusive. Otherwise, middle-of-the-road. Doesn't do much. **Story** Ideas: 5/10 | Passable framing sequence, and nothing more. Execution: 3/10 | Boring, and doesn't involve you with the actual scenes you're finding…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A quick but cozy game. Completed everything in a few hours. Adorable cats.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not sure why i picked this up and even less sure why i enjoyed it so much
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically a castle full of cats, I really did enjoy the game. Cats are hidden pretty well plus using logic to find a hidden alternative color cats is brilliant. Overall rating: 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Freaking adorable. So cute and addicting finding all the adorable cats. I loved the ending so much and all the cute stuff like the garden tree. It was so precious T-T
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an epic little adventure, I enjoyed every bit of this... It's also such an experience playing a Devcats game with a newly adopted rescue kitten on your lap. I once again love all the little easter eggs & refferences that is hidden in these games & I love the spooky twists. This game also had a very cute storyline & a very nice play style. I totally recommend any & all Devcat games & love their cause. So play Devcat games & adopt rescue cats! ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy point-and-click seek-and-finds, you will like this game. It's exactly what I wanted and what I expected and gives me something to do when I'm bored and want a cute game to keep my mind occupied. Plus, there's hidden easter egg type things such as the "Nimpurrs 2000" broom hidden in the pantry which is an obvious pun of the Nimbus 2000 broom of Harry's in the Harry Potter books. A fun find for a book nerd such as myself! Update: I finished the game with all achievements in 2 hours…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! This is a search game where you need to find all the cats, however there is a story to it, multiple levels and other things you also need to search. The effort and heart that went into this game can be seen as soon as you start playing. The graphics are really nice and the cats are well hidden. Overall a great game to play. I have played most of the games from this developer and they are all great games to play. Please help support this dev.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🏆 A Castle Full of Cats Hidden objects game with vampire kitties and an actual story about freeing Fofiño from this curse. Very cute, and as always, great to play in chunks, as you can do one screen here and there until all kitties have been found.
positive · AI labelView post →A cute, fun, easy hidden cat game. The cats start as creatures. When you find them they change back to normal. The cats hidden inside objects are the trickest to find. There were a lot of pop culture cameos in this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was not ready for vampire cat boss fight 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of many games about finding drawn semi-hidden cats in a canvas, great mindless fun. This one is Halloween themed. Nice. The game itself is greatly optimized and runs well on potatoes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What you see is what you get, a simple little hidden object game full of cats, without a sniff of AI anywhere. It's paw-sitively purr-fect at what it aims to be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is such a wonderfully simple, enjoyable, adorable game, and I feel like it has fair and easy to understand mechanics as well. I wasn't expecting the little bit at the end, but for me it was a delightful and fun surprise to top off my journey. 11/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Different from the first one in that it has more direction and story! I really enjoyed it! A cute hidden object game about cats, what's there not to love? <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was told there was a castle full of cats. I saw no reason to ask questions. 10/10. Would break into another castle for cats. 🐈🏰
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far, this was the best of this series! More secrets, more cats, and a legitimate boss battle (albeit, not a very difficult one).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice find the cats. A twist of adventurous elements. Well worth the price, if you like the genre. Achievements, 100% / ~2h,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game especially if you can get in on sale for a $1 or so.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just don't enjoy the timed boss fight at the end at all. Thanks for the stress spike i suppose Also is it necessary to shake the whole window to show that a lock can't be opened, while playing a scary sfx?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game has great music actually. wish i could buy it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What can I describe much, but it's a simple game about finding cats and finishing puzzles, it gives a lot of Castlevania vibes... But with cats. For it's cheap price, it's a must get!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS GOATED. i love that theres a way to get more time in it too. so wholesome. SO sweet and i frickin love cats ahhhhh

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Castle full of Cats Genre: Point&Click / Puzzle, Hidden Object Perspective: - - - My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I very much dislike Puzzle-Games but I absolutely loved "A Castle full of Cats" with its adorable characters, the wonderful music, the detailed and fun maps/drawings and the cute happy ending! I have zero patience for puzzles but with this game it was never frustrating at all and I actually enjoyed searching for all the kitties, hidden objects and clicking on every single thing on every map to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing A Building Full of Cats, this was such a great improvement! I loved following the small side-quests here and there and unlocking everything in the game. Trying to guess all the references in the Party, was an added layer of fun. And don't forget, adopt don't shop!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are SO MANY things about this game and the others like it made by the developer and their team that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! I love the art design; I love the progressing story line; I love that actual adopted cats star in the games; I love the promotion and education of adoption; and I love all the Nods/Easter Eggs towards characters/people in other media! For example, Ghost Face, Loki, Mario, Michael Myers, Shrek, Naruto, etc. The mini games inside the games are also so much fun! I love…
