What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 171 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (2,475 of 2,488 positive).
Players widely praise it as a charming, relaxing hidden-object game with clever details and a rewarding sense of progression. [1][2][3] Many consider it the most complete and content-rich Devcats title yet, with multiple eras, mini-games, and upgrades. [4][5][6] Some reviewers note that finding nuts and bolts can be frustrating, and one reports a glitch with the magnifying glass. [7][8][9]

In A Tower Full of Cats, you'll scout out 1,400+ cats plus some missing hardware while climbing a "tower of time" from prehistory to the middle ages to the far reaches of outer space. Along the way, you'll play some minigames, prevent a plague, and unlock tools to help you sniff out the most elusive hidden objects. In typical Devcats fashion, every level is packed with clever details and mischevious felines (plus …

The Most Complete Devcats Experience I've Played Over time, I've played many games developed by Devcats, and one of the things I appreciate most about the studio is its consistency. Their games know exactly what they want to offer: relaxing gameplay, charming visuals, hidden cats, and a pleasant experience that can be enjoyed at your own pace. After completing A Tower Full of Cats in a few hours, I came away with a …

Not too long ago, I discovered that I like Hidden Object Games. Not the 'find a needle in a junkpile' style but the games that ask you to find a bunch of animals hidden in artwork. After playing quite a few, Devcats has become my favorite developer in this genre. Although I am a dog-person by nature, I have really enjoyed exploring the worlds that Devcats creates. A Tower Full of Cats is one of my favorites. It has …

Great chill hidden object game to relax for few hours that also has great art. This was probably my favourite game from devcats so far. Can't wait for more games from them. Devs raising awareness on adoption and rescue of cats is amazing and the fact that you can support irl cats with every purchase of their games is a huge plus!

I spent a solid few hours in this fun game and felt every focus on a meow click rewarding, with clever little details that show just how much thought went into the design, which Devcats are always on point! The colors are vibrant, and each tower area has its own charm — especially with the teleport mechanics that make exploring even more fun. There’s a hint of adventure mixed in with the relaxing hidden-object …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a cozy hidden object game that is very relaxing and easy to get into. You slowly move through a giant tower that goes through different time periods, and you search for thousands of hidden cats in each area. At first it feels simple, but it becomes more fun and addictive as you keep playing. You also find other items like nuts and bolts, and sometimes you unlock secret levels or special cats that give you small upgrades or new abilities. These upgrades let you go back to earlier areas and…

neutral · AI labelView post →If you like Hidden Object games get this on sale. It’s like a mini metroidvania. They're really taking the genre to the next level with this entry. The dynamic music throughout the different zones/levels is nice. Definitely recommend!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The entire Devcats hidden-object series is probably the best hidden-object game series on Steam. Simple, relaxing, and really fun to play. If you enjoy hidden-object games, you can’t go wrong with this series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've completed almost every Devcats game, and this one feels the most complete. It feels like there's a lot more content compared to the others, though I have to admit it's a bit frustrating that the magnifying glass doesn't work on the bolts and nuts. Still, it's a really good game, and I didn't expect to play it for almost five hours straight.

Game is good, music is lovely, cats are adorbs. ═.✾. ═════════════════════════ Price ☐ It's free! ❀ Worth the price ☐ If…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very high quality hidden object game, with some twists. Great devs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →backlog journal (8/150): playing & reviewing all my neglected sale games bought in aug 2026 • completed in aug 2026 (100%) this is a hidden object game where you climb a tower and find cats hiding in each era, starting all the way back in prehistoric times, through the 20th century and eventually into the future. each cat gets coloured in once you spot it, which makes the whole tower feel like it’s slowly coming to life as you go. at the start, you get a magnifying glass to help spot the ones…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love cats and honestly, this is one of the cutest games i've ever played. I've rlly enjoyed collecting achievement and seeing so many adorable cats
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyed this game. Super cute cats, creative area design, lovely message about making the earth habitable for kitties. This was the first hidden object game I have played on Steam, but I didn't find it too hard. Finding the cats was mostly easy with some fun challenges - some are hidden in interesting spots through the map. And if you don't feel like hunting down the hidden ones, the magnifying tool will do it for you. Finding the nuts and bolts on the other hand was kind of a pain in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Devcats series of cat-finder games is my favourite. Charming, lovely artwork, fun hidden mini games... they just seem to feel more thoughtfully produced than some others in the genre and more full and complete. Adopt, don't shop. ♥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stream over. I feel very compelled to complete this game, even if the writing and progression feels jankier than the game itself. We raided @gromfalloon.bsky.social who was playing the demo for A Tower Full of Cats (Games + Demos category).
neutral · AI labelView post →i love this series so much<3 worth every penny
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Tower Full of Cats is basically a cozy clicker and hidden object game for anyone who grew up surrounded by cats. I spent hours stacking and finding cats, and honestly, it reminded me of every time my own cats decided to hide in boxes, cupboards, and random corners just to mess with me. It’s charming, relaxing, and surprisingly addictive—by the end, I wasn’t just playing a game, I was reliving a lifetime of feline antics while quietly judging them from my chair.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Tower Full of Cats: Good Hidden Cats Game What this game is: A good relaxing hidden cats game, like others found on Steam... How does it work? It is a basic point and click game. Navigate through time to find all the cats. You just need to click on the cats of course, or reveal the hidden ones, and find some nuts and bolts. There are also secret locations that you will find through time. How does it perform? Very easy to play. Click on each cat you find and its colour changes to either…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a cute and relaxing hidden-object game! 🐱✨ I really enjoyed exploring the different eras and searching for all the cats. There are so many cute and funny details to discover, making it a really enjoyable and satisfying experience. Perfect for cat lovers and anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing game! 🐾
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cats & things to find & collect through different ages. Clever idea! Lots of extra things to do too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game that isn't as easy as it first seems. Fun finding all the cats!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love that this game’s aesthetics are like a colouring in book! Very cozy hidden object game guaranteed to keep you consumed for hours!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh god, this is again such a cute game and small story to it. I wish I could adopt a cat, but my living space is so small and I don't have much money either unfortunately. Your games are literally my therapy. Meow
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cats <3 Devcats never disappoint with their games, compared to the previous ones I've played from them this one have some minor improvements but makes the game way more enjoyable and so far one of the best from them, I still have a couple more that I want to try. 10/10 for those that like Hidden Object and cats
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 if you want to spend two nights hyperfocuse-binge-catching cute cats in creative environments. Support your local cat protection schemes!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really do love the devcats artstyle and how much love they put into making their games -- esp seeing the real-life cats get affected by people getting the games and DLC, knowing we're all making a diffrence in some small way
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not the kind of game I usually play but it's GREAT!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is (probably) Devcats' biggest game yet. Do NOT underestimate how big this tower full of cats is! I think my 4 hour run time speaks for itself, honestly haha As always, A Tower Full of Cats is a pretty fun time, with plenty of cats to discover in the different levels, as well as fun little side quests you get from NPC cats you meet on the different levels. Playing this really tickles my brain as both a history nerd and a cat lover.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing better than a tower full of cats
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun! the art is rlly good for this one. its very fun to see how the level themes transition into one another as you go up the tower. I think that some of the cats can be hard to find because the sizes are a little inconsistent, but otherwise its enjoyable :)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so delightful <3 Probably the best hidden object cat game I played so far. Do yourself a favor and play hidden cat games to relax.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great hidden object game brought to you by Devcats. 100% worth a go if you love finding kitty cats in different eras! Pros: • Multi staged/scenario game.. you aren't just playing within 1 area/map. You are looking for cats within eras, with little mini areas within those. • Story Line.. Play to a story line and help the cats solves problems. • Not just cats.. you don't just look for cats. • Fast Travel.. This was a great feature! Jumping to different eras with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks for the good storytelling! Relaxing game with cute cats, funny wordplay and a good amount of stuff to find.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm working my way through the series, enjoying each game more than the last!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I mainy enjoy only three types of games. Souls-like games Medieval Strategy survival games and Point & Click games where I can search for silly little cats. I think I already got most of their games and now, I got me this one and even found one of my favorite Souls characters in here! My heart is warm! Praise the sun and Praise Devcats ːpraisesunː
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Insanely fun, incredibly cute, and beyond relaxing. Also quite funny, as I found myself chuckling a whole bunch. If you're looking to zone out and reclaim some of that childhood wonder from looking at Richard Scarry books, this is gonna be your jam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who can resist that derpy mug on the title card? (His name’s Lino.) This is easily one of the best hidden cat games out there. Just when you think it’s over, it surprises you with more levels and even more kitties to find.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's cats!!! I've been enjoying these games a lot. The English translations could use some polish, but it's not too bad. I love how every game does something a little different, and the cats are always very cute.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is proof that sometimes you need to play something very different in order to find a new favorite. I've played some random Hidden Object games in the past, but it's also not a stretch to say I just don't have much experience with the genre. Heck, the only reason why I picked up this game was largely as part of a goof between some friends. But I ended up playing in over the span of 2 days and in that time I fully completed the game and got all the achievements. This was an absolute…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of their most expansive 'Hidden Cat' games yet! Look forward to A Planet Full Of Cats!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this publisher (+ developer) and their games - they fill with warmth, peace and comfort. Plus, every game sold helps real cats and shelters IRL. The necessity to help homeless animals and shelters is also frequently and actively brought up in the games themselves, but in an unobtrusive and enjoyable way. I think I want to buy each of their games with all DLC's not just for the truly interesting, kind and love-filled content, but also for the support of their civic stance and the very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SO MANY CATS! This has loads of levels and so many cats to find. Great fun- relaxing, and reminds me of hidden object books from my youth. Can't wait to see more from Devcats
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The added side items to collect were a fun addition compared to the usual "Just find cat." A great search and find as usual, would recommend as a game you can relax with.

neutral · AI labelView post →A cute hidden object game, with the various time period sections having fun themes to them. It being mostly one giant scrolling screen that you unlock more of over time is a neat concept.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the more elaborate HOGs I've played from this Dev and I adored it. The art style is charming and almost soothing so you can play a level or two even when you're tired. There's a bit of a narrative to this one with lots of cats to meet and there were welcomed game mechanics to the hidden objects like finding new rooms. If you like a game filled with cats and laid out like a puzzle then I recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The devCats Universe continues with this cute game. As the others, just buy it, save a cat and enjoy the ride full of cuteness, witty cats and so much more!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The devcats always knock it out of the park as far as hidden cat games go, well worth a playthrough
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great game for you cat lovers, keep in mind some of the proceeds got to helping cats.
